   As Open Table can show, we have been to Silver Fox in Fort Worth on many large and small celebrations and we have never had the negative experience we had yesterday for Mother's Day. First in an apparent attempt to upcharge Mother's Day patrons, the waitperson informed me that none of the four expensive hamburgers were available even though they had all been on the menu for numerous visits. My substitute entree, French Onion soup was served cold with the cheese congealed on the top of the soup. The waitperson did try to replace it with a warmer version but by then I just wanted to leave. She did take the soup charge off the bill. The most unforgiveable tragedy of the evening came when the server spilled blood from a steak on my wife's new expensive white jacket which she had hung on the back of her chair. Since the restaurant was almost totally dark except for tiny table lamps, we did not notice until we got back to our home. Depending on the response of Silver Fox today, we may have another negative review to write soon.

   Our experience at Silver Fox for Mother's Day was oustanding. The atmosphere was upscale without being pretentious. Service was excellent. Our waiter was there when needed and didn't spend time hovering. The food was terrific. The three of us each had steaks, different cuts - Delmonico ribeye, NY strip, and tenderloin. Each one was prepared to perfection. Seriously the best steaks we have experienced out in a very long time; and FTW has some nice steakhouses. Silver Fox has been around for a while, but they clearly have taken steps to improve their restaraunt and offer good variety with the menu items. We will definitely be back!

   Wonderful food & service!!! We were given a long table in the back of the restaurant for 7 of us to celebrate Mother's day for my wife & 2 daughters along with our son-in-law & Granddaughter ! We were not rushed & allowed us to talk & be able to hear each other !!! Wonderful!!!

   I have eaten at a lot of steakhouses. The service was excellent. The ambiance was fabulous. The food was good but not spectacular.

   It was such an amazing restaurant. Our server Paige was wonderful and had such a great personality, the food was magnificent and cooked to perfection!!!

   Excellent service…our waitress was exceptionally friendly and attentive and the other runners were timely and efficient. III Forks salads were awesome. We selected the dinner for two with asparagus as our side including mashed potatoes. The filets were prepared perfect to our temperatures. I think the only critique would be our cocktails were a bit weak for the $$. The ambiance was a little plain…could use some visual interest. All in all it was an awesome evening.

   Food was amazing. Best steak I think I have ever had. I added the truffle butter … so good. Prices are a little above average for a steakhouse but worth it!

   3 of us dined with scallops, and salmon dinners- all were delicious! Paige did a great job, always enjoy this place!
