Silica is a modern Australian restaurant situated right on Kiama's Surf Beach, boasting beautiful views of the coastline. Chef Luke Basic has created a menu with a difference. Serving large and small plates using seasonal produce, most notably, a substantial amount of organic produce from their own garden. We are fully licensed with a bar area upstairs looking over the water. We offer two dining rooms, both with modern furnishings and décor. Very tasty food, but very expensive and super super small serves, drinks were very very expensive. Services was good, outstanding view if you get a window seat, not worth going if you don’t.

In a word, extraordinary. We booked for a Saturday night so we had the six course "feed me"menu and we could not have been happier with everything. Our server was delightful and attentive without being overbearing. Her service was exceptional. The food was brilliant, very creative and prepared with thought and care and beautifully presented. While the portions were small, there was more than enough to fill us up, and the timing of each course saw us spend a delightful two hours savoring the evening. The wine list was small, but offered enough variety to satisfy us. This is a gem of a restaurant in Kiama and we can not recommend it highly enough. Well done to all.
