Drawn by a common passion for craft distilling, a group of friends came together to create a new kind of distillery, producing handcrafted, artisan spirits with uncompromising quality. In an extraordinary location on the Duke of Northumberland’s Albury Estate, a group of dilapidated farm buildings on the banks of the legendary Silent Pool has been transformed to become the home of the Silent Pool Distillers.

The Pool Bar is an entirely outdoor bar located on our cosy patio terrace overlooking the stunning Silent Pool next to our distillery. Come and join us for drinks in this spectacular location. Booking is advised, but walk ins can be accommodated.

Table service only. Last orders and walk-ins half an hour before close. Dogs and children are welcome in the outside space, but not inside the distillery buildings due to health and safety restrictions. We operate a challenge 25 policy, so please do not be offended if you still have youthful looks and you are asked for ID.

The food shown on the Open Table like the cheese platters etc is no longer available. They sell sausage rolls, brownies and carrot cake. That’s it! Very disappointed.

Wonderful afternoon drinking in the ambience and the most amazing G&T's. Never fails. My only improvement would be if they could reconnect with mandira's kitchen (they did in 2022) so you can enjoy the best of both worlds.

4 stars only due to the fact that no sharing platters was available anymore despite confirmation of the table. Food is a bit disappointing.

Had a lovely visit again to the Silent Pool bar and enjoyed a drink overlooking the pool. Our waitress was absolutely lovely and nothing was a problem. It was so nice that now the drinks are now served in glasses (instead of the paper cups) but the food menu seemed limited. It would be nice to have a selection of either smaller meat boards or local cheeses boards. Relaxing music would be nice to be played whilst you are there too (not too loud though, just to add ambience).

Such a hidden gem in the middle of a lovely country walk. Staff were friendly and attentive. Cocktails were fab, and I love how you can buy your gin glass and have it boxed up to go. Snack van had yummy treats and very friendly service. Dog friendly too.

Its a lovely setting, we like the gin a lot, but as we'd just walked over 7 miles we were hoping for something more substantial, other than crisps and olives, for lunch. would have stayed longer and drunk more gin if there were more options.

We enjoyed the drinks, but disappointed that there was no selection of food. We also didn’t like the music playing. It would be a nice area to just listen to nature.

Unfortunately we booked a table hoping to Hebe much before our gin your. We were told no food today as we have a private party to cater for! Could only offer crisps and olives! Didn’t see a private party so slightly annoyed! Didn’t see a menu so not sure what choice would have been
