If you find yourself dreaming of the Texas Hill Country, savory comforts, spice, and the sultry depth of a fine Burgundy, you’ll be pleased to know about Signature at La Cantera Resort & Spa.

The menu is straightforward and beguiling, featuring contemporary interpretations of classic dishes — fresher, brighter versions of traditional cuisine enlivened with unconventional Texas spirit. Gulf seafood conspires with Atlantic Coast oysters flown in fresh, and the Hill Country is well-represented year-round. Local and organic ingredients change the menu as the seasons peak and wane, but the constants are quality, flavor, artistry in the kitchen and a warm welcome when you walk in the door.

    Absolutely amazing! The environment and ambiance are Hill Country, smart casual. The folks that work here are warm, friendly, helpful, and know their craft. Great attention to service, flatware, and glass details. The food and courses are delectable. I could go on forever, but I’ll just say it was definitely Michelin quality. Again, absolutely amazing!

    My husband and I went to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Signature went above and beyond for us. It started while we were waiting to be seated and continued through the entire meal. Everyone that we had contact with was knowledgeable and friendly and made the whole experience worth it. As parents of a 6 year old, we do not get to do this kind of thing often and I was not at all disappointed. The food was fantastic. My husband had the wagyu steak and I had the short rib. The appetizers were just as good. I wish I could remember my server's name because he really was excellent. His suggestions were on point and he could answer every question we had. I can't say enough good things about Signature.

    Amazing experience! Service was so welcoming. We did the tasting menu and I’m gluten free (celiac) and I was still able to participate which was amazing. Everything was top notch. We also added the octopus as an appetizer and it was the best octopus we’ve ever eaten - so tender and delicious! The ambiance is amazing, decor is stunning, views are picturesque… love everything about this restaurant! Will definitely be back!

    From the moment we walked in, the experience was spectacular. Every employee we encountered was beyond exceptional. Food and drinks were phenomenal.

    The experience is amazing and they pay attention to detail and make sure you enjoy your food and the chef gives various tasters throughout the dinner and it is an enjoyable time and worth it! Would highly recommend and always make it a point to go when in San Antonion!

    A spectacular birthday dinner this evening with my better half. Honestly, it’s one of the best we’ve had in a long time in San Antonio. Some of the bites brought a big smile to my face… and all the dishes were amazing! ❤️😋🎂🥳
