If you find yourself dreaming of the Texas Hill Country, savory comforts, spice, and the sultry depth of a fine Burgundy, you’ll be pleased to know about Signature at La Cantera Resort & Spa.

The menu is straightforward and beguiling, featuring contemporary interpretations of classic dishes — fresher, brighter versions of traditional cuisine enlivened with unconventional Texas spirit. Gulf seafood conspires with Atlantic Coast oysters flown in fresh, and the Hill Country is well-represented year-round. Local and organic ingredients change the menu as the seasons peak and wane, but the constants are quality, flavor, artistry in the kitchen and a warm welcome when you walk in the door.

    This has quickly has become our favorite restaurant in the San Antonio area. The food is excellent and the staff is very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend if you appreciate all the dining details that this restaurant has perfected. Simply the best dining experience that is possible.

    Our server Albanny was very personable and watchful. Only suggestion is that the final desert bites were not up to the standards of the other dishes - they could have come from an ordinary store bought box.

    Absolutely outstanding dinner. Our waiter/sommelier Jacob provided top notch service, and his expertise in wine helped us to make the right right selection of wine to accompany our dinner. Every aspect of the experience exceeded our expectations, from our appetizer - a seasonal vegetable plate with curry and pecans, to our entrees (scallops for my wife and short rib for me), to our desert of Chocolate Impossible, all was terrific. And I can't leave out the wonderful bread as well as the palate cleansers between courses. The price was appropriate for the experience, which frankly is probably the best dining experience I've had.

    Food was amazing. Service was mediocre. Atmosphere was loud. We enjoyed the fireworks from nearby Six Flags.
