If you find yourself dreaming of the Texas Hill Country, savory comforts, spice, and the sultry depth of a fine Burgundy, you’ll be pleased to know about Signature at La Cantera Resort & Spa.

The menu is straightforward and beguiling, featuring contemporary interpretations of classic dishes — fresher, brighter versions of traditional cuisine enlivened with unconventional Texas spirit. Gulf seafood conspires with Atlantic Coast oysters flown in fresh, and the Hill Country is well-represented year-round. Local and organic ingredients change the menu as the seasons peak and wane, but the constants are quality, flavor, artistry in the kitchen and a warm welcome when you walk in the door.

    Signature was an amazing first time experience. My bf and I came here to celebrate my birthday mid week and it was a great choice. The service, ambience, and dishes were incredible. We ordered the pork belly, scallops, and short rib. All were such delicious selections. The restaurant is also located on a beautiful part of the La Cantera property so while enjoying dinner you can look out onto the beautiful manicured scenery. Our waitress let us know they’re a scratch and seasonal kitchen which was a huge plus for us. The drinks were also great (they’re strong but tasty). Overall we had a great time and would be back again!

    Me and my wife had The best meal ever!! Hands down!! From the time we entered the service was excellent!! The food just made it even more memorable for us!! The food didn’t stand a chance, We completely licked the plates!! Thank you Signature for always doing your best for us and all your customers.

    The appetizer, fresh bread, meal and desserts were outstanding. Our waitress was wonderful! She took great care of us and brought my husband a take home dessert since it was his birthday. Highly recommend visiting Signature

    Absolutely one of a kind dining experience in beautiful hill country. The restaurant itself is a work of art, and added to the outstanding detail to service makes this an epicurean delight. Lisa was our waitress and was nothing short of phenomenal. Every dish took our taste buds to another level of heightened pleasure. A truly wonderful 30th wedding anniversary celebration!

    Great experience. Nice well rounded dishes with attentive service. Wonderful atmosphere and would highly recommend. Will be going again upon our next visit to La Cantera area.

    The Chef’s dinner we attended was great in that it allowed him to get creative and us to get to sample some amazing fare that we ordinarily wouldn’t get to indulge in. Service was super attentive and the ambience was perfect. Would love to do again!

    We had an amazing experience here. Definitely deserves a Michelin Star. Everything was incredible from the service to the cuisine. Grace, our server, was attentive, knowledgeable, and considerate. I took zero pictures. I was consciously trying to be in the moment of our evening. What we ordered: Beef tartare. We get this everywhere we go to set the standard of the experience. It was delicious. Impeccably cut. So clean. So fresh. Summer risotto. Smell it!!! Get those truffles in your face!! Yes, it’s creamy and very delicious. Short Rib. The short rib melted in your mouth. It was so tender. No knife required. The smoked blue cheese on the sweet potato was the perfect pairing to the short rib sauce. Venison. Order this dish! Everything about it was perfection. The LEAST GAMEY venison I have ever had. The cherry jus paired perfectly with the meat. The potato was 20 layers of absolute heaven. I could’ve had an entire plate of the potato!!!!!!!! Passionfruit pot de crème brûlée? I wasn’t at the table when it was ordered. It was delicious. Fruity, clean, fresh, not heavy at all. Expect 2 hours to dine…at least…like a real Michelin star restaurant. You are there to savor and enjoy. Don’t rush it. We, unfortunately, had to rush the end of our experience. Grace was understanding of our circumstances and handled it with professionalism and…grace.

    Excellent food and drinks! Staff was knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous. Ambiance was a mix of 1800’s America with slight modernization. Presentation of food was very nice. Celebrated anniversary. It was perfect for our celebration. Recommend the Caesar salad, venison and short ribs. House butter was pretty and tasty. Chocolate cake was delicious! Will be back for another special event.

    Food was average and way overpriced for a Michelin star-advertised restaurant. We reserved for brunch during Memorial Day weekend. Nice and calm ambiance. Food was brought to the table either with missing ingredients, or the order was incomplete at all.
