Signature, Inspired by Chef Andrew Weissman
The menu is straightforward and beguiling, featuring Andrew’s contemporary interpretations of classic dishes — fresher, brighter versions of traditional cuisine enlivened with unconventional Texas spirit. Gulf seafood conspires with Atlantic Coast oysters flown in fresh, house-aged sirloin easily holds its own with Pacific Northwest lamb, and the Hill Country is well-represented with venison, dove and quail. Local and organic ingredients change the menu as the seasons peak and wane, but the constants are quality, flavor, artistry in the kitchen and a warm welcome when you walk in the door.
Dinner: Tuesday-Saturday 5:30-10 pm, Sunday 5:30-9 pm
Brunch: Sunday 10:30-2 pm
Fine dining but a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere.
The gospel brunch was fantastic. The music was superb but the food was even better. We were there to celebrate a friend's birthday. They seated us next to an open door that overlooked the golf course. It was a serene setting when it began to rain. This was my second dining experience here and I would highly recommend it to anyone celebrating a special occasion. Great service!
We love it and have probably been a dozen times. Totally loved the gospel brunch and think you should do it again
We always enjoy our meals at Signature although at times would like to see more variety on menu.
This was our first time at signature, we never see it advertised and only found it as we had driven by. So glad we went, everything was perfect. All the servers were very attentive! Food was absolutely delicious and loved how everything was presented and the variety of add-ons to each dish, which made each dish more appealing. Our only hiccup was the hostess was going to seat us by the kitchen and that was not what we wanted. She had to talk to her manager. We were eventually able to sit in a booth by the bar, which was much more romantic as we were celebrating my husband‘s birthday. Would recommend when you make your reservation to specifically ask not to be seated by the kitchen. Very happy with the restaurant, and the food was delicious! would definitely recommend to a friend and would go back again!
Absolutely wonderful experience from the moment I was greeted until the evening ended some 3 hours later. The food was amazing, our waiter Roger both knowledge and personable, and the setting and ambience nothing short of spectacular.
Outstanding! The food was excellent. Our server, Aaron, was personable, attentive and knowledgeable. The ambiance is white-glove with all the little touches to make it feel special. An amuse bouche before starting. A sorbet palate cleanser before the entrees. The wine was decanted at the table. The noise level is a little high but not overwhelming. Wouldn't be ideal for a quiet romantic dinner but definitely a special occasion kind of place. Highly recommended.
More than just dinner, it was a show of delicious proportion. Kid friendly environment, excellent staff, food was incredible. Usually go for brunch, will definitely be back for dinner.
Simply the BEST place to eat in San Antonio. Super food with creative dishes.
We celebrated our first year anniversary of dating last night at Signature and it was complete bliss. Ariana and I had always thought that Signature was a beautiful restaurant with great service and food. Having worked there before, I never wrote a review on account of the bias it posed to convey, but, as a free-standing patron, I can now say, this is hands-down one of the best restaurants in San Antonio. Thank you to the whole team!
The menu rotates with the season, which limits offering of a favorite dish.
Lovely view across the green and of the resort's French architecture.
Incredible meal! My wife and I enjoyed the brunch menu thoroughly.
As always the service was great, the food was good, although menu limited. Nonetheless, quickly became our favorite local restaurant.
Started with a great bartender Allan with distinctive drinks and very good food and service for a great evening.
Love this restaurant. I was a bit disappointed in the Osso Bucco only because I have had better similar dishes. The lamb was nice and tender but I was not thrilled with how it was served - not sure what it was in the dish and it had 1 tiny baby carrot.
Otherwise I love the restaurant and all is great. Food was great last item we were there as well. Would be nice if the menu changes seasonally. Same dishes since the last time we were there in June.
When they first opened, my husband and I frequented almost every weekend, and so enjoyed it! Still do, the food is wonderful, as is the atmosphere. It has been several months since we have dined here, and one thing we did notice, was the size of the charcuterie. We always get the chefs selection, and this time they really skimped out on the cheeses and meats. Really quite disappointed with that, as that is our favorite part usually. Service still isn't quite up to par, but very nice staff. When you spend $800 (for 4 of us) for dinner, you expect everything to be 100% .
Love chef Laurent's creative cuisine. Wine pairing by the sommelier Adam is always perfect. The well trained staff, showing the expertise of manager Michael, is knowledgeable, helpful and extremely friendly. All of this makes for a perfect evening, long to be remembered.
I visited Signature with my wife to celebrate her birthday. Everything was excellent. From the food, to the service. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and made suggestions without us asking based on his knowledge of the menu. Definitely a spot worth checking out for a special occasion.
Best dining experience in San Antonio. Service, food, drink and ambiance - everything exceeded expectations. This is fine dining in a upscale but relaxed setting.
The service and attention to detail was excellent. Cocktails were delicious. The tuna chip and dip app was the best I’ve had. It was one of those dinners you linger and enjoy. Plus, I was with my favorite person and he makes everything better 😊.
Wonderful service and meal as always. Unfortunately we were seated next to a very noisy group that interrupted our ability to enjoy fully.
Great evening Fine food between friends
We will come back from Houston
I took my girlfriend to signature for our anniversary. The food was excellent, the wait staff attentive, and the atmosphere was perfect. Signature was an incredible choice for our evening and I will be returning.
Menu and service was outstanding as always. This was our 5th time dining here, and can confirm Signature as consistently one of the best dining experiences in San Antonio.
Top-notch service from entire staff. Ophilio our server was very attentive and could not have pleased us more. Sommelier recommendated a delightful Oregon pinot. View of of the lovely golf and nature reserve area was quite pleasant.
Food was absolutely magnificent! We had the sole, shrimp, and scallop special for two and we would return just for that but would like to try more of the menu. Deserts were scrumptious too.
Entire evening was absolutely lovely. Thank you chef Weissman.
It was a wonderful evening!!!
Our first time was 8/30 we enjoyed aooo much we came back on 8/31 has other plans and cancelled so that should tell you how much we liked it
Our server is the best!
He was at our table last visit, too.
Now..if I could recall his name!
Excellent overall. After many visits, the only flaw has been small inconsistencies in the generally excellent service. Sometimes it’s a bit too leasurly. Last time we asked the waiter for knives to butter our bread (not wanting to share the lone butter knife) and got resistance. Apparently, it wasn’t yet time to bring out the dinner cutlery. This would probably go unnoticed in an average restaurant, but a little more irritating in a great one.
we loved our brunch so much so we almost wanted to order again! we were there for a birthday though and really wanted dessert but not offered or given. we will be back. thanks
Wonderful experience as always. We were served by Leighton and his service as well as the rest of the staff were exemplary.
Have been here before and will be again. The entire experience was outstanding. Campbell our server was very good and enjoyable to work with. The pace was perfect and by the time we left, were extremely satisfied and full. Wife and I shared an appetizer and salad and had our own entries. More than enough food. Always enjoy the rotating menu here as it is sometimes adventurous which is what we really like. Can get steak and chicken anywhere in San Antonio, so the menu was perfect to try something new. Will be looking for any excuse to go again.
Great food with excellent customer service! Very welcoming & lovely view.
Outstanding service and excellent food. Great ambiance
Such a beautiful, quaint atmosphere. Really pretty views. And the food was great. Went for brunch, but excited to go again for dinner. My favorite part was the featured pancakes that our server Joel recommended. The cappuccino was also so good.
Perfection! Can’t begin to say how anazing Signature restaurant is. Outstanding service only to be topped by outstanding food and wine! Can’t waut to go back!
We have NEVER been disappointed in any aspect of dinner or brunch at this restaurant.
Should be prepared for hefty tab, or skip this gem.
My wife and I met her sister and husband for dinner. The view back toward San Antonio was impressive, in the daylight, and not bad after dark. There is a golf course behind the restaurant where you can see deer grazing in the early evening just before dark. The food was excellent, different from the usual. My Bro-in-law and I both had the special of the day Monkfish with 3 shrimp added, cocktail and a glass of red wine each. Of course he picked the wine since I don't know zip about wine, just whether or not it taste good. The ladies had a vegetable dish they shared, as well as an onion tart and white wine which they enjoyed.
We were treated well, the serving staff took care of us, they were personable making suggestions for dinner as well as dessert afterward.
We had a birthday reservation that fell through due to an increase in guests, but my husband and I made it a point to go before we left town and I am so glad we did. Everything was phenomenal! We took our 4 yo daughter with us as we were in from out of town and she loved it as well. It is a smaller restaurant so it books up fast. If you are going to make a reservation for a large party, I would suggest padding your guest count a little because it is hard to re-accommodate.
Excellent restaurant with amazing ambiance. Would highly recommend it!
From start to finish an overall fantastic experience. The food, service, and ambiance were simply perfect. I would highly recommend this place if you are seeking high end dining.
