Great food. Large portions. Was a great meal after a day of skiing.
We are so glad you enjoyed the food and hope to serve you again in the future. Enjoy the mountain!
The hostess accommodated us and set up a table for 8. Our waitress Xanda was the best. She even did separate checks for us which is great for a group of singles. We liked it so much we are actually going back for another dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Thank you so much for the kind feedback. You group was a joy and it was a pleasure having you back with us this evening. Zander is a gem, and we are so glad you enjoyed you experience with us.
I don't think there was any liquor in my drink. It was a tigerita. Could not sample the apps because they were all fried.
My meal was tofu with the peanut vegetable. I need the tofu steamed but I thought a restaurant of this caliber would be able to serve it other than soupy and mushy.
sticky rice for dessert sounded unique and interesting but is was just a pile of sticky rice.
Marilyn, Thank you for your feed back and we apologize your dining experience was not the desired which we strive to deliver. We try to offer a variety of selections to accommodate a variety of tastes so it could be that the particular appetizers which were ordered were those which require to be fried in preparation for best quality of the served item. I would love to speak with you more about your experience, and would like to invite you back to make it right. Sincerely, Siam Talay
The food was amazing. Our server made suggestions of what to order and the selections were perfect
Hi Ivy. Thanks you so much for your kind words. It was a pleasure being able to serve you and we are so glad you enjoyed your evening.
We had a non traditional Christmas dinner here and had a great experience. We are vegan and they were very accommodating and had lots of choices. The edamame and shishito peppers were perfect appetizers. The curries and noodle dishes were very good. If not all the curries have shrimp paste except the yellow curry. A good pick for restaurants in Mountain Village
Great place to have Christmas dinner. Everything was so tasty, service fast and friendly. They offered a fabulous wine offer but a bottle, second one is 50% off. We just love this place.
Thank so much for your kind words. It was a pleasure serving you and thank for allowing us to do so!
The Panang Beef Brisket was delicious, and the service was awesome on Christmas Eve.
Thank you so much for dining with us. It was a pleasure and we are so glad to hear you enjoyed the panga beef. Warmest wishes for the New Year and hope to serve you again!
Jen, one of the waitresses during breakfast, is an absolute gem! The nicest and most knowledgeable about places to see in Telluride. Thanks for a great experience, Jen!
I made reservations for our party of 5 at least 3 weeks in advance. I received a reminder the day before our reservation. We arrived 5 minutes early. The dining room was closed. The bar was open, but they had no record of our reservation. I told them that we had made reservations on Open Table and the response was, Ohhh. The person who attended us was very nice and polite and told me that they haven't been taking reservations for quite some time due to Covid. They were using the bar as a staging area for take out orders. She told me that they didn't have any tables for 5 in the bar, but they could put an extra chair at a table for 4 to accommodate us. Again, she was very nice, but we felt we would be cramped and decided to try to find another place to eat instead. We went to the pub across the plaza. Not what we had been looking forward to, but at least we ate.
The staff had no knowledge of our reservation whatsoever. I don't fault them. Management should remove the restaurant from Open Table if they aren't going to accept reservations. My advice, call first.
Not really Thai. More like, "Thai for people who have never had Thai." Food quality poor (shrimp not fresh and poorly prepared). Pass.
Delicious Thai food.
We had enjoyed their take out last week so decided to try in restaurant and found the food was every bit a good as our previous success, however, their staff and service in restaurant needs some more training.
Overall recommend for the very fine Thai cuisine
Food, service, ambiance were all excellent.
Menu has changed from my prior visit but it’s still good food. No outdoor dining was disappointing.
Brunelo wine was spectacular. Chicken satay succulent and very nice size pieces for dipping in not-too-sweet peanut sauce. Tom Kohn soup was perfect starter and not heavy but a lighter coconut broth. Pad Thai was tasty, noodles cooked to perfection, and the scallops were deliciously tender (will request extra green onions next time). Red Curry with the perfectly seasoned duck was scrumptious and plenty to bring home to enjoy the next day. Crab rangoon was perfectly fried and the dipping sauce, a perfect accompaniment. Mango and sticky rice addictive and delicious to top off the meal. Will return to try the other menu items. LOVE the location.
Food quality as average for Thai. Loud families and staff’s kids running around were unpleasant. Do not get the sticky rice and mango- the mango was frozen and thawed, and tasted like chalk. Overpriced consistent with almost all restaurants in Telluride (especially in the mountain village). We were there for a special occasion- engagement dinner- and they did not acknowledge that, and sat us in a loud spot next to the kitchen which we did not appreciate.
The ambience was a little plain. Not much pizazz. The food was certainly fresh, I only wish it was a little more flavorful. The portions were more than adequate. Our server was very nice and did a good job. If you find yourself in Mountain Village and are hungry for Asian cuisine it fills the bill.
The food is not the same. All the Authentic Thai flavors are gone. It seems like the new menu included cutting corners on recipes and preparation in the kitchen. If you’re into a meal with a thai flare this place will work for you but if you’re looking for a real thai meal go into town and eat at the Thai restaurant there.
Thank you for your feedback. We would love to know what items you had while dining with us. The majority of the menu hasn't changed from the pre-Covid days. If there is a particular item that was not what you hoped for I would like to address it. We have had the same chef for many years and I know she would like the feedback to help us learn and grow.
Loved it. Food was delicious. I loved the image of Su and Jeff on the wall. Service was perfect.
The food was great and the view is amazing
The food is outstanding! Would definitely go again.
Service was prompt, server was friendly and kept checking to see if we needed anything, manager Brook was very friendly and accommodating to our seating request.
Made a reservation through OpenTable, reservation was not honored as the restaurant was closed. OpenTable has the ability to close reservations through a couple clicks, though no action was taken during thier closure. No apology, no contact, crickets. If you make a reservation here, call to confirm as they don't maintain thier reservation system.
I am sorry for the confusion. We checked with Open Table and they don't know how you were able to make a reservation. Alll of our reservations apear to be closed. We are closed until the 28th of May. Please let us know when you would like to dine with us. We would like to make it up to you for the confusion!
Great find in Mountain Village for a respite from the heavier, "Elk-everything" menus of the main restaurants. The food is very good and the spice ratings are legit.
Great food and drinks! The Crab Rangoon's were so good we had them for dessert the next night too.
We missed our reservation time because there are two Siam restaurants in Telluride, one down in the town, one in Mountain Village at the resort....a fair walk and a gondola ride between. A simple call to the Restaurant and they held our reservation for us. It was a great dining experience
Food took a while to get but it was excellent when it arrived.
Everything we had was sooo yummy! Great location and service!
Outstanding food and service. We will definitely be back!
Covid is hard but this place was horrible. I’ve dined out all over Colorado during this period of time and received top notch service despite the circumstances but that was not what happened here. It’s still the middle of March but this restaurants lengthy list of items they were out of for the season was ridiculous. The season doesn’t end for 3 weeks so that’s a mangers issue in terms of balancing ordering against future visitation during the busiest time of year. One thing I wanted was very simple; a glass of house Chardonnay. They were out and more to the point refused to open a different bottle to accommodate my request. I don’t prefer other grapes. I also have a hard time believing I’m the only woman in Telluride who wants a glass of Chardonnay. Forced to order something else, they then charged us for the glass of Chardonnay and had to redo the entire charge to fix it. That’s tacky and lazy. Maybe order take out if you’re desperate but this place won’t be long since restaurants survive on specials, add ons like dessert and liquor.
Food and specialty drinks were delicious. Cute place. I had the veggie red curry and my daughter had the fried rice. We loved them both.
Excellent food and service. Very enjoyable
We love Siam! Best food!
We loved the food and the ladies loved the Asian theme decor! This restaurant is not connected to the SIAM down in the town as many think.
Delicious food, great service! We will be back!
Great food and service
We had a reservation and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant at 5:00. We were sat right by the front door. Asked for a better table and was told all other empty tables were reserved. I don’t remember ever asking to reserve a table right by the door. Food was just ok, wouldn’t go back. There are far better places to eat and be treated better especially when the restaurant is empty.
Food was exceptionally good. Service was attentive. Overall experience was excellent!!
