   Everything was amazing. It was the 4th day open and we knew it would not be perfect. But the food AMAZING, service better than most restaurants that have been open for 10 plus years. The server seemed a little nervous but she was very attentive she just needs some time to be comfortable but overall she was great.

   It was Amazing!! Very nice waitress and always on point to help us with anything we need. A manager came by to check on us to make sure everything was good. Very nice atmosphere!!

   New locations of the tried and true don’t always match up. But in this case, they absolutely do!! Shucks has taken the excellence of the home base in Abbeville to their beautiful new venue on the bayou in Lake Charles and captured every opportunity to take it to the next level! The place is beautiful inside and out! And most importantly, the food is still the top quality exceptional deliciousness you expect when treating yourself to Shucks!! So very well done!! We had oysters raw, on the sampler platters and in the oyster stew and they were all fresh, plump and delicious…we will be back soon!!!

   Food was excellent had a few problems with service from kitchen and bar but could be expected for first day opening to public! Our waitress was a little frustrated with both areas but she handled it with smiles and good communication with us. Overall very good!! Already have reservations for Sunday Brunch!

   We went on their first night to open. It was very busy and yet the food and service (Marshall was our server and he was fantastic) was great.

   For opening day, it was not super crowded. The food was good and music was being played outside.
