   Poor quality of food at very high prices. The menu needs to have more seafood options. Clam pasta had hardly any clams. Great resort and food needs to live up to the experience.

   Good Food, Nice location but very noisy. I could not hear my date and she could not hear me. Defeats the point of going out on a date. They should invest in some noise dampening decorations so you can have a conversation without shouting. LOL

   Steak was cold, angry lobster fried rice was not edible, but the roasted beet salad and halibut were fine. Not excellent for the price you pay. Very pretty ambiance.

    As always Showfish was an outstanding dining experience..... once you got passed hostess station. I had made the reservation on Open Table and requested outdoor seating for 6 ... it was and anniversary celebration. Upon arriving on time we were told we could not be accommodated outside, the wait was indeterminable. The young hostesses were rude and condescending and told us " this is how Montauk is....." Not when you are spending upwards of $200 er person for a celebratory end of season dinner !!! We were shown to an inside table far too small for our party and were very upset. Thank goodness Annie saved the day by securing us a table outside , within 20 minutes and offering us glasses of Prosecco at the bar while we waited. She also surprised us with personalized keepsake menus and complimentary desserts. Tamara was our excellent server for the night and food were both wonderful.... The rib eye tuna, lobster pasta, oysters, roasted cauliflower were all delicious , along with the spicy watermelon margaritas.Thank you for those who showed true Montauk service. Until next year and hoping the hostesses are long gone.

    I rated it 2 stars because my wife’s scallop dinner was fine. Done ok but not special. And the peas were frozen peas. So I gave it a 3/4. Otherwise it’s a 1. I gave my meal 1 star. 0 if I could. My meal was herb encrusted halibut with shrimp and mussels was inedible. It was so dry I couldn’t down more than a few bites. I soaked it in the lobster bisque which resembled tomato soup more. And the 2 shrimp were over cooked. 3 mussels. $48 for that. I was ok paying for what I thought would be a nice meal. But this was not a nice meal. It was like eating in my old college food service. And a $180 bill to show for it. The meal came out so quickly I imagine it had been precooked and saved under heat lamps. I gave them the benefit of 2 stars based on my wife’s just ok scallop dinner. Overpriced and not even diner quality. Go to your alma mater and try the food service instead. And after eating there we heard the same from locals. But too late.

    My wife order the Haibut which was cooked well done and a small portion. I asked to be seated in outdoor area which I sat numerous times.I told that area was reserved for large party. They seated us opposite bar area. A couple sat done next to our table for about 10 mins and complain to the manager that were not happy with there table. They were then move to area where the large party was be going seated. I don’t think that was right. I been to this restaurant numerous times this year and written reviews on this restaurant performance.

    I was tremendously sick all night after eating here I know it was from here because I didn’t eat the day before. I was violently ill all night. I had the halibut and clams on the half shell. Awful experience

    The atmosphere was really nice , music wasn’t too loud, good vibes, wait time was 15-20 minutes ( not bad) The host was new to the place, she set us in with the tabt that wasn’t ready ( cover unchanged, no napkins, no silverware) But waitress was amazing I believe Tamara was her name Food is delicious Price is very reasonable Overall good experience

    We got apps and they were amazing! Angry lobster (the best), tuna tartare, roasted carrots and the lobster kimchi fried rice! No complaints. Also the complimentary bread was outstanding.

    Had a reservation for 6, were put at a round table for 4-5 and given major attitude when I asked if it was a table for 6. Loud when we arrived but could still have a conversation by yelling. At 8:35pm, dance music was cranked up and just got louder after I asked if there was any way they could turn it down even a little. We literally gave up talking and tried playing telephone for a few minutes. Server was v good. Food was fine - not great but not bad. Meh. The whole thing was wildly overpriced for the experience.     Terrible service. Hostess seated us 30 minutes late and stated they had nothing to do with this open table app! 3 appetizers we ordered from the menu was out of stock. Two steak entrees were overly salted and could not finish. The chicken and polenta dish was over cooked. I will not go back!

    We were not sat until 30 minutes after our reservation time. No server approached our table until 45 minutes after sitting down. The manager attempted to apologize after dinner was served but it doesn’t change the fact that is unacceptable. I would never eat here again. Very expensive and tiny portions.
