Sourcing as much of our ingredients as possible from the farms of the Hampton's, the local fisherman of Montauk and neighboring producers, we are offering an a la carte menu for our guest to enjoy the best the area has to offer.
While there is a focus on produce and seafood, there will be plenty for guests to enjoy outside of that scope, too. We are looking forward to you joining us this season!
Food was delicious and service was impeccable, a definite most go!
excellent sea food product. Michelle le maitre d'hotel is just perfect
I had high hopes for the food. We were left unimpressed. Our 5lb lobster came out with no real flavor and a rubbery texture. Apperizers [foie gras and tuna crudo] left much to be desired. Our waitress was a pleasure though, wish I remembered her name
Very overpriced for the quality of the food
Seated at 9:30 for an 8:30 reservation even though there were empty tables. Foie Gras and scallops were good but octopus was disappointing. Service was friendly.
Went there with many expectations for a great meal. However, we were seated next to a large table of ten + with unruly kids. The prices for drinks, wine and food are at the top of the spectrum so bring a cc. Food was very good however the server was exceptionally slow. Worth the experience but not worth the wait.
Food was amazing, service was so bad I’m embarrassed for them
Expected a fine dining experience for a Saturday night dinner with another couple. Instead, encountered a staff requiring repeated requests for bread, lemon, oil, etc. Greek salads were ordered, and we were flabbergasted to see a minuscule amount of greens, and explained by the staff as their “interpretation”. Give me a break! The total dining experience overshadowed a previous fine experience. Overall not worth it.
We arrived 15 minutes before our reservation and checked in promptly. Multiple hosts and hostesses repeatedly asked us our name as if we hadn’t checked in. We were sat 30 minutes after our reservation time and received our drinks 50 minutes after our reservation time. The food was delicious when it did arrive, but the service was horrible.
Service was great. We were sat in a timely fashion. Our waitress was on point. Everything was great but the steak. Very under cooked and they were just unable to accommodate us to the way we wanted our steak. Was taken off the bill without even asking. Overall great experience.
Terrible service. Food is very good, except desserts. We ordered 2 different ones, and both were horrible.
Party of 8 ( 4 adults and 4 Kids). Seated promptly, service was great, food delicious. Enjoyed two bottles of Wine (we brought with us) $50.00 Corking fee. Location is beautiful, on the Marina with great views. Highly Recommend for Family and Couples
Spent a Tuesday evening on our Anniversary and was greeted with a congratulations. Colby, our waiter was very attentive and efficient. Food was fresh as well as delicious.....recommend the lobster & kimchi rice! Looking forward to dining again soon.
All Food awash in oil. Halibut literally swimming in it. Black bass Came out uncooked first time
Amazing every time. This place is chill and special. On the harbor. Yachts. Cocktails. Good food. Great service. Summer nights.
Lobster rice was killer
Excellent food in a lovely location by the marina. Hard not to be impressed. Service very friendly, if a little slow at times. Compared to other restaurants where you might spend the same amount of money, this is well and truly a level above in terms of quality, presentation and vibe. Highly recommended.
Beautiful location, very good food, place felt hip enough but not too noisy and didn't make us wait for table. Def would come back.
Food was awesome as always they left a few things off of our plates said they would get them but never did
Jeremy is amazing chef the food, service, and everything was great.
Overall delicious meal and lovely experience, our only criticism would be rather small portions.
Great meal.In a gorgeous place!
The food, phenomenal. The service, superb. The place, perfect. And Nick the General Manager made a perfect dining experience complete with his charm and extra effort.
The tagliatelle with Jonah Crab in a Calabrian Chili oil was as fine a seafood pasta taste as any on the east end. Looking forward to returning.
We had an 8PM reservation. We arrived on time and were told there would be a 15-20 minute delay. Ok, we had a drink at the bar. However after 30 minutes, we still weren’t seated. We were finally seated about 40 minutes late. At no point did they offer a drink, dessert or any accommodation. Yes, the food was wonderful but not worth the hassle, IMHO.
It was the worst service I’ve ever had. The server came to our table a total of two times the entire time we were there. Had to ask for menus, grab anyone that walked around us to try to put orders in, it was ridiculous.
The cocktails were creative, well presented & tasty but with way TOO much ice. The food was fresh & delicious & a reasonable value. The outdoor seating was beautiful & made for a most wonderful evening. The service was attentive. The noise level was quite energetic, particularly as the evening progressed. Overall, a memorable dining experience.
This was my 2nd time having dinner at Showfish. The 1st time was amazing but this was a disappointment. The service, especially when it comes to getting drink orders, is fair at best. While a lovely location, the yachts docked in the marina with political flags are a huge turnoff and unfortunately quite prominent.
This was our 2nd visit in a week. They didn’t disappoint.I highly recommend Showfish.
I took the train to Montauk for my birthday after knowledgeable friends recommended a hot local chef and his lobster kimchi fried rice side dish. SO Worth It! Showfish is dynamite and so is the dish! Tuna crudo and stone crab claws were also delicious. The talented staff are kind, lovely, funny and incredibly accommodating. Gorgeous view of the marina at the new Gurney's (the old yacht club)...until the squall rolled through...so if you find you're at the original Gurney's by accident (or on purpose), just hop on their shuttle for the quick 10 minute ride over. I'm already planning my next visit to try more on the menu as I'd love to be able to call this my LI local.
The restaurant was completely overwhelmed and unable to operate efficiently with the amount of guests they were serving.
We waited over an hour for our table even though we had a reservation. Once seated it took more than 30 minutes to get our drinks and the food wasn’t cooked nearly as well as our last visit. From operations to plate, it was extremely disappointing. The one positive is that our bus boy and waiter were lovely.
Strange menu made it hard to choose an appetizer. Halibut was just okay. Waitress was overwhelmed so we never got bread earlier enough and drinks didn’t come till halfway through meal. Lovely spot to sit outside with a lovely view but we expected outstanding food so we were quite disappointed
One of our favorite places to eat in Montauk.Everything from the service to our appetizers,Main meal and dessert was outstanding. You,won’t be disappointed.
Excellent menu choices , very creative flavorful entree’s . Great cocktails and desserts!
Fantastic place. Waitress was so fun! GM, Nicholas, was super nice and it was a great time! Highly recommend
Showfish at Gurneys/Star Island was a nice experience. Food was good, but you could see the kitchen staff was a bit gassed for Sunday night service as they seemed to "mail in the dinner effort. App's we good we had the fluke carpaccio, Peconic Oysters, and the grilled octo (little light on the portion, but tasty. My wife enjoyed the Golden Tilefish entree, however I was disappointed with the whole Black Sea Bass, as although it cooked properly, I was half the size of the advertised 2 pound fish, and left me hungry. The meal ended on a big negative when the server delivered a 3+ days old Blackberry custard tart.
Overall a underwhelming dining experience, especially at Montauk prices.
Atmosphere can’t be beat. Food is ok but super expensive. I’d go back for drinks but wouldn’t eat there again. My sister and I shared a tuna steak for $120. Plenty to eat but no taste.
I really enjoyed the place the food was great the staff is amazing I would come back
Beautiful evening with great setting; but, best part was the excellent and creative food.
Very special eating experience.
Except to tuna special which was phenomenal rest of food was mediocre at best. Chicken was extremely dry and not eatable. Claws were overcooked. Deserts were precooked. Crudos were ok.
