We chose to go here as part of the yyc hot chocolate fest. Had a look at the website and decided to have dinner as well. Very glad that we did! The food is amazing and great presentation.

Incredible attention to detail with locally sourced ingredients in the food and drinks. You can taste it. It’s a very nice restaurant and surprising to find it in a hotel.

Our waiter was awesome! Our food was very good and we enjoyed our evening immensely.

Food was cold and not cooked consistently. Service was poor and disorganized. Suggest people give this restaurant a pass - at least for breakfast. It was not good.

Service was very friendly and happy hour drinks and food were decent.The decor sadly seems to be already-dated, overdone, spartan brewhouse chic; a far cry from when it was a posh lobby lounge. Sitting on hard chairs and picnic benches isn't my idea of dining at what should be an upscale hotel. They truly need to warm up the ambiance.

We came here for breakfast as a guest in the hotel. Our server was nice and the decor is beautiful however the food was awful. The hash browns had zero seasoning. No salt no pepper. They literally just came out of the fryer and on to a plate. Our eggs again had absolutely zero seasoning. The bacon tasted old or fake. The maple beans tasted bland and worse then what comes out of a can. The Valbella sausage was good though. Wildly over priced for what we got and the food was a far cry from the ambiance of the restaurant. I would not recommend. You’d be better off having a continental breakfast.

It was great to come to this establishment and check out a new place. Our waitress Lisa was so friendly and took great care of us along with the manager Leo - he went out of his way to make sure we were fully satisfied which we were and we will definitely be back soon to enjoy!

Meals were very good, one cod one pasta. All cations for Covid were taken. Service was very good. Decor was plain but interesting. This was a pleasant surprise for a hotel restaurant.

The food, service and ambiance was amazing. The cauliflower curry is the best I’ve ever had and the burgers are in my top three of my favourite places to eat.

Very happy to be able to dine in again at Shoe and Canoe! Their covid protocol was impressive - very socially distanced seats, cleaned and sanitized tables, hand sanitizers on many stations including the elevators (From the parkade) and something TOTALLY NEW - they give us little brown baggies to slip our masks in. Nice!

We were able to try their happy hour as well and they have $10 wings and $6 drinks (wine and beer on tap). The menu, while considerably small, is still fabulous as they are tasty and good sized. Our server Liz was very gracious. The gentlemen who welcomed us are all in masks and have provided us warm service!

Tips: If you are parking at the basement, let the front desk know and the 2 hours is free. Also, if you are a Marriott Bonvoy member, dining at the Delta gives you bonus points. 👍🏼

I quite enjoy this place. It is great for quick lunches and a really good value. Choose the lunch special. Their food is fresh.

For a pre pandemic night during calgarys downtown dining week it was rather empty. The location is beautiful inside, not just another hotel restaurant! The server was nice but the food was slow and the portions were very small for the price.

Food was amazing and imaginative. Enjoyed everything so much. Decor is very pleasant. Great evening. We’ll be back

It’s a great place to go for drinks, and the food is good but the portions are ridiculously small. And the cheese board is terrible and they did not warn us that blue cheese was on the board until we got it, we didn’t end up eating that piece which makes the whole dish not worth it.

Server was attentive, food was delicious, and the live music was great. We will be back!

The main reason that we went was here our friend Dean Jarvey sing. He was great! we really enjoyed. We arrived about 5:40 PM ordered dinner and enjoyed the music. Once we ate we moved to his table and joined he and his wife. It was a very pleasant evening.

I've been here twice and enjoyed both times. Great food to share - charcutterie, cheese boards, and the curried cauliflower is a must. Bright, nice décor, lovely servers...I highly recommend and need to go back on a weekend for brunch.

Excellent experience, great to see a new vibe in the Delta downtown.

We had a nice meal and enjoyed the shoe & canoe. The service was good for the first half of our visit but then after we had been served our meal, it was not as good. My husband actually had to go find someone to order another beverage, there was no one to be found, not even at the bar. Not a huge deal but not the quality you'd expect on a Saturday evening or anytime really.

Everything was outstanding! From the greeting at the door to the last sip of coffee. Being the lunch rush out food arrived quickly and was hot - if we had wanted to we could have easily been in and out within the 1 hour lunch mark but it was so good we hung around for a while. We will definitely be returning. Thank you

A group of us celebrated a birthday at lunch the service and the food was absolutely fantastic ~ I will definitely be coming back again

The restaurant was very open and roomy with lots of natural light. We were there at lunch and two people ordered the express lunch while 2 ordered off the menu and everything came out very quick. The food was delicious and we plan to go back to try out more of it.
