La historia de la cocina Chino-Peruana se remonta a mediados del siglo XIX, cuando los primeros trabajadores Cantonéses emigran al Peru y empieza una fusíon de su cocina milenaria y la peruana.

En Shi-Nuá o “Chinois” -como bien se escribiría en Francés- nos atrevémos a darle un nuevo matíz a los ya conocidos clásicos, con toques e ingredientes europeos y americanos así como también de otras regiones del lejano oriente.

    Espectacular como siempre, aunque se podría advertir cierto exceso de amabilidad de los garzones que consultan insistentemente si uno necesita algo en diversas ocasiones cada 3 minutos lo que a veces resulta incomodo para la experiencia de los asistentes.

    Visité este restaurante sin tener referencias previas. Fue realmente sorprendente. La decoración y el concepto son de máxima elegancia y están muy bien logrados. Un estilo en la iluminación y el ambiente donde se cuidó cada detalle. Pocas veces visto en Santiago. Me recordó los mejores lugares de Presidente Masaryk en Polanco (CDMX) y el Costanera 700 de Lima. La comida, excelente, porciones adecuadas, sabores intensos. Tomé la opción de menú con maridaje de 5 tiempos, a un muy buen precio y para conocer la carta. La atención diligente y cuidadosa, recibieron con agrado una recomendación de invertir un maridaje entre dos platos. Sinceras felicitaciones.

    Es una linda experiencia, las personas te atienden con mucho cuidado, se nota que es un equipo preocupado de crear un buen ambiente. En nuestro caso, no comemos mucho, por lo que al salir solemos disfrutar de picoteos, lo que pareciera que no fue apropiado para el garzón que nos atendió, ya que cuestionó si nos había agradado la comida.

    Nuestra visita comenzó mal porque al llegar el restaurante que estaba prácticamente vacío, nos habían asignado una mesa muy atrás y pedí que nos cambiaran a una mejor ubicada. La anfitriona me dijo que no podía porque estaban reservadas para personas VIP, lo que me pareció un poco descortés de su parte. Sin embargo, al ver mi cara de disgusto me dijo que iba a ver qué podía hacer y luego nos asignó la mesa que queríamos. La atención estuvo muy bien hasta que empezó a llegar más gente y se hizo muy lenta. Sin embargo comimos muy bien, todas las entradas y fondos que pedimos estaban muy buenos. Muy buen ambiente, buena música de fondo que si bien estaba alta, se podía conversar perfectamente, eso se agradece mucho.
