Named after Shep, the beloved Turnpike Dog who became a local legend on the Denver-Boulder Turnpike, our restaurant honors this faithful companion who greeted travelers and tollbooth workers for 14 years starting in 1950. There were a couple of items that need adjusting, especially the pizza (but the hot pepper seeds and parmesan cheese made it palatable. The young man that wanted on us was excellent. Pool tables are free and was awesome.

The food was amazing The waitstaff were spectacular !!!!!!! The environment was out of this world My wife and I go every year !!!!!!

                                                                                                                                                                                This is a hotel bar restaurant. It is very lively and fun. A little on the loud side, but as you know, it is a hotel bar. The manager was super responsive and kind and helpful. The food is fresh. Local ingredients, farm to table. Highly recommend.
