Too many people in restaurant. Tables too close together. Too much and crowded traffic. Hope I did not get COVID. Food and staff were fantastic.
One of the best overall meals I’ve had in a long time. We took our servers recommendations on appetizers, including an amazing charcuterie board and delicious cocktail, and were blown away. Fresh seafood and a perfectly cooked steak as well. Only disappointment was the only had one of their desserts available as the others were all sold out (and I would’ve ordered them all). Cannot wait to go back!
Great, however, too many people for these times. Women’s bathroom one stahl at the time.
My date and I shared the oyster Rockefellers, this was my first time ever eating oysters and I must say- they were DELISH! So yummy and wonderfully seasoned. I ordered the 'Icelandic Black Garlic Cod', the seasoning on TOP of the fish was delish but the fish itself and the rest of the plate was super bland. Salt anyone? My date ordered the Boston Steak Frites, he said it wasnt salty as he read in another review and the fries were perfection. For drinks we had the Geronimo Margaritas, they were good-but not amazing. I like my margaritas on the stronger side and this drink was too soft for my preference. Would I go back? Yes! I would give it another shot.
The entrés were both excellent. I had the lobster salad and shrimp linguine. Appetizers not so good: the fried cauliflower is does not pass as food; the oysters Rockefeller were OK, but nothing special. The desert, creme brulé, was covered with so much fruit garbage that its its character was lost. My appetizer served long before that of my wife, which no decent restaurant should have done. Water view nice; decoration rather industrial and not particularly pleasing; noise level much too high for me.
Service good when I could get the water's attention.
Great service and food, well spaced tables and covid protocol well observed! Very enjoyable
The food was moderately good. The service was excellent. We had the halibut and the salmon, both had a good taste but nothing exceptional. The restaurant offers a very beautiful and scenic view. If you gauge the overall dinner experience versus the price, not sure it is justifiable.
Was so excited to eat here, I made the reservation weeks in advance, they confirmed my reservation with me the day before, and they were closed for renovations when I SHOWED UP to eat and never let me know. When I called went straight to voicemail. Terrible and will not be dining here.
It was a great experience and we’ll be back soon
Very nice. Always excellent food. Not too crowded for New years eve
So Amazing!!!!! We had the bouillabase and seafood tower. Both were so fresh and absolutely on point!
Enjoyed a delicious late lunch on New Years Eve day
What an absolutely delicious meal and dining experience!!! We had wonderful wait staff and service. The food was all on point!! No rushing...and the espresso martini is to die for. Would highly recommend!
Always a nice setting. Observed all guidelines for Covid. Unfortunately they have decreased business hours and we chose a day that they did not have many items on the menu.
Have been here on several occasions and have always had a wonderful experience. At our last time visiting it was the week between Christmas and New Year and you could tell they did not expect to be as busy as they were for lunch - but still had outstanding service and even the manager was bringing food to tables.
Our waitress was very courteous and accommodating, the food came out in a timely fashioned and cooked to perfection. Cocktails were also fantastic and reasonably priced, seafood was fresh and clean. 10/10 will be returning again
Fantastic indoor dining experience! Thank you Shell & Bones for making the extra effort to be Covid-safe for dining inside!
Wonderful service great food! Couldn’t have asked for a better Christmas Eve experience
My boyfriend and I come here every Christmas Eve for our holiday tradition. We love the food and the ambiance.
Beautiful view! Lovely sparkling water fried calamari was amazing!!!! The the chocolate fondue and fried donuts were the best!
Excellent dining experience!!! Everything was top notch! Will be back!!!! Thank you
Just a so-so experience. Service was a little off- slow to bring drinks, meals served at different times, forgot to leave seasoning off fries. For a seafood restaurant, the crab cakes were a big disappointment- no better than Mrs. Paul’s in the grocery freezer section! This was my first visit so maybe I just picked the wrong menu item. My husband’s fish tacos were alright.
Celebrates my mother in law’s birthday last Sunday. The brunch was excellent!!! They accommodated us to eat outside and the service was perfect.
Food was delicious, service was excellent. We will definitely be returning again
Prices were high and food was mediocre, then the waiter over charged us $15. He corrected it for us but didn't explain it or apologize.
Always great experience.
Food is excellent with service to match.
The food was amazing and the service was outstanding.
Loved it. Great service ... good food . Clam chowder was awesome .... bouillabaisse could take a bit more seasoning but it was fresh and still tasty .
This is our favorite spot for a special night. Chef's Filet Mignon is outstanding. Highly recommend for great meal with your significant other or some close friends.
We were there on a cold raw Covid day, but I'm sure on a nice day with its views of the Sound, a great place for drinks and seafood.
The bouillabaisse was very good and plentiful. However, the crab cake/bacon sandwich totally missed the high standard a good seafood restaurant should have.Very good wines and excellent waterfront location.
This restaurant never disappoints. Amazing experience as always.
Great view on the waterfront, great food and service.
Great customer service and attention to detail . Beautiful and very clean with all covid guidelines . Great drinks too !
We had some dietary restrictions which they helped with and even had options for kids .
This place never disappoints. I have never ordered the same thing because everything on the menu looks amazing and every time I have been there the special sad seem to get better and better. Well worth the price for the exceptional service and view.
An early Thanksgiving dinner that started at 330pm and ended about an hour after sunset. An enjoyable experience overall.
The food was excellent!! The service was great. And the restaurant followed all social distancing protocols. Can’t wait to go back!!!
Went for Thanksgiving - second year in a row - service, food and ambiance were perfect!
