Mother's Day brunch at Sheerwater was quite lovely and all the ladies were given flowers! Breakfast items on the buffet, an omlette station, all kinds of breads, baked goods, and fruits. Waffles & pancakes, cereals & granolas. A seafood station, a beef, pork, and ham carving station, desserts $89 per person adults was pricey tho. Bloody Mary's and Mimosa were $16.50 each. All very good tho, and it was a special day! BTW...their regular a la carte menus are all excellent and for Coronado, decently priced.

I was excited to take my mother here. Beautiful ambiance and views of the water. However the price is a bit much for what we had. First we arrived 15 min early and were told to wait, which is fine but plenty of open tables. Then we were seated and given a drink menu with coffee and juice stains all over it. Kind of gross to touch. Were given coffee cups with food stuck on it. Then replaced with the same issue, so I asked for to go cups. Service from our waitress was great. But food was okay. Not worth the price. I have had better for less. Bottomless mimosas were over priced for cheap sparkling wine. So we passed on that. Then we saw people carving their own meat at one point and a couple people hand picking their own shrimp, as in not using tongs. Not that is the restaurants faulty. But i began to get grossed out and lose my appetite. $230 for 2 people who only had coffee as drinks was excessive. I do regret canceling our previous brunch plans at another restaurant that offered free moet champagne at least. Also they had carnation flowers to the mothers, but it seemed to depend on the server. We were not given any. I probably wouldn’t recommend or take people to go. Much better places to eat.

Awesome location outdoors. Could see the ocean and the hotel facade. Plenty of warmers near the table since the ocean breeze was chilly. Food well-prepared with lots of well-coordinated flavors. Kind service. Very memorable, thank you—

The seafood pasta was delicious, but there should have been more seafood and pasta and less vegetables. The veggies were mushy and seemed out of place. I highly recommend the risotto, it is by far the best I've had. Definitely try the truffle fries. Our table also tried the wagyu and the New York strip. Both perfectly cooked.

This was a dinner for a family of six celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary. Overly priced in my opinion … $350 for a Tomahawk steak , $200 for a seafood platter and $15 for bread but this was expected as this restaurant is located in the Hotel del Coronado. The food was good but I can’t see myself coming back.

Great food selection and awesome view. The buffet had a great balance of breakfast and lunch items, both savory and sweet! I enjoyed the breakfast bread pudding and pancakes, but would recommend the roast at the carving station with the creamy horseradish and the grilled asparagus. A mimosa was a little pricy, but not a bad indulgent.

Food was not fresh, waffles seem to be a day old. Cold shrimp had a very fishy taste (not normal), the prime beef was very rare. Not worth the price. Can get better food at any chain Resturant. Everything was just warm and not hot. For $75+ per person, expected better. Service was also slow and not consistent.

This restaurant is a very good place to go for a good evening with your loved ones to have a great meal and to be served by excellent people that know what they’re doing. And the setting is just beautiful! How can you beat the sunset and the beach and the waves on Coronado island!

Our server, Manny, was wonderful! He was friendly and helpful with the menu. Our steaks and brussel sprouts were on point. The crab cake was loaded with crab meat but had a bit too much of the citrus dressing for my taste. The atmosphere was unbelievable—definitely a must stop in San Diego.

My husband and I we t to Sheerwater for dinner to celebrate his retirement from the Navy. The staff was very accommodating to my request to store and thaw a cake that I had made to celebrate the occasion. Rueben our server was magic! He was so very nice, had a smile a mile wide, and made our evening beyond special. The food was spectacular- we each had a steak and they were cooked to perfect temperature and the mescal Demi glaze did not disappoint. Our evening was capped off with the cake, an unexpected handshake from Rueben to my husband and smiles all around. Thank you so much to Rueben and the Sheerwater staff for helping me pull of an amazing surprise celebration!

We celebrated our sons engagement !!! It was just perfect ! The food spectacular , Easter brunch ! Kristen was a great hostess checking up on or table nany times to change our utensils and pick up our plates ! Sunday brunch was $79, an outrageous price:quality ratio. Food was good but not extraordinary, selection quite limited to breakfast items. One single roast at the carving station. Outdoor chairs somewhat uncomfortable, service just ok. No cheeses, charcuterie, no desserts! They did give us a birthday dessert which was a nice touch. But overall a rip-off. Tourist trap!

Sorry but I thought this place was going to be 5 star because of it's location. The atmosphere was very nice. The food was sub-par. The server was adequate. Would not go back.

Amazing experience. Our server, Manny, has been with the Del for 35+ years. What a value add to our dining experience. The entire serving team was incredible. The food is 5+ stars. Come on, it’s the Del.
