The food was good. The service was good.
Quite close to the highway, so convenient. Also near a park for a nice walk after lunch. The lunch special was delicious. It's a pub so it is going to be a bit noisy, but it's not overly so at lunch time. I had the shepherd's pie with lamb - yummy. My friend tried the impossible hamburger and loved it. I am glad they had lots of vegetarian options.
On our latest visit on an early Saturday evening, the music was so loud that you could barely talk across the table. My entree was not warm and had to be reheated and they forgot my soda bread. However, we usually enjoy an excellent meal.
Best mom n pop restaurant there is. Mom and pop were literally there working and chatting it up with long time customers n friends. Food always on point and service was friendly. I would suggest O'Donnell's to anyone.
Good good, great beer and friendly and courteous wait staff
All was good, except sitting back by the servers station is too bright compared to the rest of the ambiance.
This Thanksgiving my family and I decided we would go out to eat for dinner. We had been to Shawn O'Donnells on other occasions and the food is always good. This occasion was no different but I would have to say the dinner was amazing.
What wonderful food! All three of us had different items from the Monte Cristo to burgers and it was great. Large portions. Cooked to order and delicious. Highly recommend
Shawn O'Donnell's staff were very nice. When I told them that I had made an Open Table reservation they had no record of it and said their link to Open Table wasn't working. Fortunately there was a table available for us.
Absolutely LOVE Shawn O’Donnell’s Irish pub!! Food is always SUPER and service is exemplary!!! That black and blue salad is STELLAR!!
We got there a little before 5 on a Friday. It was good food and good service!
Shawn O'Donnell's is a very friendly family-owned restaurant. It is my "Cheers" place where everyone knows your name. You can be assured that your food will be served promptly with a smile and will leave you feeling satisfied and wanting to return.
Customer Service was great - food was ok, nothing to write home about - Good place to meet with friends for drinks and poopoos
We loved this place. All of the food was outstanding. Fun atmosphere but quiet enough to hear what others were saying. We will be back.
Staffing did not know of Open Table or how it worked. I wanted to make sure I received the credit for my dinner.
Wait staff was pleasant but what we’ve experienced here on past occasions is significant delays on refills of water asking if our food was ok etc.
This particular time our horderves came the same as our meal poor timing
Good has been good fish n chips nice and crispy the Irish Nachos is a must!
Biggest complaint is the service tends to be slow.
Yes, I would recommend O'Donnell's, however as I said to my daughter, try not to be nice to the waitress, the nicer you are to her the worse the service gets. She seemed annoyed at our presence..it's the THIRD time for us, and the same waitress.
so yes, the food was great, out reservation never was logged in for some reason so we were at a small table, we love the food there, but the service could use 'help'.
Unfortunately I got there and there was nothing in their books about my reservation, luckily they had a table at the bar area where we could fit 8 people. But...I was very disappointed with this service!!!!
I met with three friends from high school who live both north and south of this location. Everett was a good central spot to meet. I was delighted with my choice. The food and service was excellent and we were allowed to sit in our corner booth and laugh for hours! Thank you so much... we'll be back if you'll allow us! Did I mention we are now 70 years old and still the best of friends!
They did NOT receive our Open Table reservation unfortunately..but accomodated our group graciously
We had a gift card asked waiter to apply excess to our friends bill and he said he would then didn’t. I had the Toastie and it was awful. Almost everything is deep fried. Wish they’d come up with healthier options. All and all we had a nice time and I would go back.
Fun environment with tasty food. Good value and top notch service!
Great service, good drinks, poor food choices for breakfast (no pancakes nor omelettes) and kid's menu wasn't real kid friendly. The menu listed a specialty bisquit and jam on the menu and wanted to try them but they were out at 11:00 am. It was okay but I won't go back. Chose because it was right off of the freeway. Will go west of I-5 to Patty's Eggnest or Denny's. Thank you.
Made reservations for 5:00 did not get seated for 50 minutes. There aren’t really reservations it’s just first come first served, wasted a lot of time with family due to that. The server was great. I wouldn’t recommend thinking you can make reservations if you’re doing an important meeting of any kind, business or something special. Food is always good comfort food.
Thanksgiving dinner was fantastic!
Been coming here for years and will continue to come back. The service this time was a bit lacking and the waitress didn’t really listen to request but we managed. Food was tasty, although was just warm not super hot. It was busy so I factored that into why some areas may have been weaker than usual.
Great food and nice ambiance Great place to celebrate or just go out for a good meal.
Food was ok. Staff was awesome. Ambiance so so. Was expecting more from the reviews and was a bit disappointed.
We went for Sunday Brunch and had a fantastic time. The food was delicious and plentiful. The server was above par. Great price for the food. We will be having more family gatherings there.
We were a group of 9. We were seated as soon as we arrived. The waitress was attentive and knowledgeable. Excellent selection of beer and whiskey on the drinks menu as well as a menu of traditional Irish dishes. American comfort food was also available. This is the a restaurant that it is easy to relax in and enjoy your friends.
Our server did a great job with our table of 14. We had separate checks, and it wasn't easy! One thing I've noticed recently (not just this visit) is they seem to be serving less soda bread than in the past.
We come to Shawn O'Donnell's ALL the time. We love the food, get seated quick, tasty drinks, trivia night is fun...like that the whole restaurant can play......kids too!
Would love to see the Lucky Charms back on the menu! (kids like it)
Would also be fun for a tv or 2 in the main restaurant area, hard to peek into the bar.
Not sure if they were only on Open Table for Mother's Day, but a good find so we could get a reservation!
Excellent experience! Inviting, clean and enjoyable environment. Chad was an outstanding waiter ~ he listened and helped enthusiastically with beer choices and food questions and was kind, fun and attentive. The beer was delicious and the food was amazing! We had the salmon and shepherds pie and the Irish Bread Pudding - YUMMY!!
We had the London Broil. Everything about the meal was Excellent !
They do a great job on their fries, the burgers are good too. I highly recommend the clam chowder. They have several Irish beers, not just Guinness.
Always a great place to grab an awesome meal. Love the Irish food! Booked a reservation through opentable.... what a great site and super easy to use. Table was ready right when we walked in the door.
Here's a place that knows how to serve (and pour!) the Blonde in the Long Black Dress. (Guinness to you Brits!) The shepherd's pie is delectable, as is their rasher burger. Friendly and (mostly) efficient waitstaff.
Love this place for its comfort food but it's way too noisy for me. We only visit once in a while cause we can't hear over the bar noise. We like to talk at dinner but here it's impossible so we never stay long.
Just a great place to hang for any and every occasion. Shawn is awesome. We are going to try out the Seattle location tomorrow.
