Reflecting the charm of its surrounding neighborhood, Shangri-la is a distinctive space in Fair Oaks that serves seasonal, contemporary American fare, along with handcrafted cocktails in a unique setting.
With modernist architectural design, fire pits and classic cocktails from an indoor/outdoor bar, Shangri-la is an adult oasis with a full-service restaurant and private events venue that feels like a Palm Springs resort. We have two beautiful indoor dining rooms as well as a 6,500 sq. foot patio featuring bocce ball (adults only) and full-service seating inside and outside. (Voted Best patio and Best restaurant by Sac Magazine). Well behaved pups are also welcome on our patio when weather permits. Children are welcome to dine with their families but are limited to staying at their tables (not roaming or running) for safety and liability reasons.

First time dining here. Patio was very nice and lively. Service was excellent. The food and drinks were amazing. The menu items may read fairly standard but the presentation, quality, flavors are 5 star. Had the burreta salad, tuna appetizer, deviled eggs, and fried chicken. Top notch! Great experience will return.

Always love the vibe and ambience. The food is very pricey for what you get. We enjoyed what we ordered - deviled eggs special, crispy brussel sprouts, cornbread,t salads. It was just priced higher than we felt would usually match the level of uniqueness of the flavors and food. Our guests agreed. We'll likely be back for some special events and we want to support this local business but we'd be here much more often if it weren't for the prices/specialness of the food mismatch.

What an experience! As soon as you walk in, you feel like you are on vacation. The outdoor patio and bar are such a vibe. The inside was a bit moodier but still had the same beach resort vibe. The drinks, food, and dessert were excellent. Service was great. Parking is limited. Overall we had a great time and will return.

The atmosphere is delightful. Looks like a great place to go when the weather is perfect and sit outside. The inside is beautiful and comfortable. The noise level was too much for 3 older ladies. The food was good:)

Great location for outdoor dining. Large bar that is both inside and outside facing. Enjoyed combination of small plates and entrees. Creatively prepared. Will definitely return with friends and family.
