We visited Shandon Court for a Sunday Brunch before seeing a local show. There were a couple of shower events going on and we were seated at a table alongside the bar. At first, we were concerned but once seated we found it to be charming and comfortable. We could not hear any noise from the events taking place in the other rooms. I ordered the corned beef hash. It was at the near top of my list for hash. It was delicious, cooked just right and it was a very generous serving. Since we had some time to kill before the show, I decided to try one of their desserts. The Zeppolies were surpurb! The best that I have ever had. They were very fluffy and light. If we are ever in East Islip again we will be sure to stop in Shandon Court to try something else. Go there and try it out. You will not be sorry!!!

we were 4 galpals wanting to have a nice quiet place to hang and reconnect. Perfect choice. We had all the space and time, our waitress got us and knew we wanted to chat and left us to that. we got there at 7:15 and were the last table out. We will definitely be going back.

I’ve enjoyed several meals at this establishment and will continue to come. This last visit on a Sunday was a bit busy because of 3 separate parties so I was glad to have a reservation. Our server took excellent care of us even though it was so busy and the food was delicious.

Went to this restaurant the day after St Patrick’s to avoid the crowds. Very nice decor with lots of wood and a fireplace. Attractive old style bar. Service was spot on with endless water without asking and hot rolls. We started with a Guinness for me and a French martini for my wife. Both were great. For an appetizer, we chose the clams casino. Well seasoned with a balanced ratio of bread crumbs to clams. I only wished that they had larger clams but why quibble. Main course was two orders of corned beef and cabbage. Maybe the best I’ve ever had. Potatoes cooked perfectly. Cabbage cooked perfectly with a buttery taste. Corned beef was lean and delicious and plentiful. Not bad for $30 per entree. As a bonus there was live music and singing of irish tunes and pop music. All in all a most enjoyable evening!

Always busy on St. Patrick’s Day. Excellent service. Great band in the back room. Corned beef and potatoes were so dry. Portion size has gotten so small and they charge $30! No more Irish soda bread. We usually leave with leftovers. None this time and we left hungry. We’ve come for years on 3/17, and this will be the last time.

Went to dinner on St. Patrick's Day, had reservations for 5:15, got their at 5:00 and was immediately seated. Dinner started well, got our water and bread right away, then waited 20 minutes for them to take our drink order. Dinner was served timely, however my wife's French fries were soggy at best, and greasy. My meal was great, CB&C. Then after about 15-20 minutes after our table was cleared, we had to chase down our waitress to get our check, no dessert or coffee was offered, and we left. They know it was going to be busy, they did not have enough wait staff to handle the room. We go there quite often for Sunday Brunch, and this is the first time we have had any kind of problems.

Service was slow to start. 10 minutes to be greeted at the hostess station. L Food was good. Asked for a half Guinness half Smithwicks twice. Each time was given harp/Guinness. Third time I specially asked again for Guinness/Smithwicks and not a black and tan. Only to be told they were out of Smithwicks and the bartender decided to give me Harp/Guinness. Music was great.

It was our first time at Shandon Court. We went to celebrate an important occasion and we were so glad we picked here! Food and service were outstanding! Best zeppoles I’ve ever had!! Everyone was so friendly and they accommodated the table request we made with our reservation. We will definitely be returning!

First, the food is always delicious. Our experience this time was no different with the exception of the waiter. Honestly, he was just miserable…and it felt like it was an inconvenience for him to serve us. We ordered one round of drinks, apps, and our meals….no special requests or changes to our orders. His whole mood just put a damper on our experience. With that said, I know food service is a thankless job, and we did tip 20+% hoping that this man might use the $30 to find at least some joy in his life. We are taking a break from Shannon Court for a while. Still, food and drinks are great…maybe it was just a bad night for the poor guy.

It's a small restaurant with a nice size bar. We went Friday and had a nice dinner. Not many were in the dining room and they have a fireplace which makes the room cozy. The menu is good with a rounded selection of apps and dinners. The waiter was very polite and the service overall was very good.

Excellent night at Shandon! A long overdue get together with my daughter, sister and brother in law was made entertaining and lively. Ward’s service was prompt and professional. The live performer certainly delivered (with gusto) a spirited array of catchy tunes. We did well in choosing Shandon for this lil’ dinner date!

Went for Thanksgiving dinner. Service was outstanding. We were made to feel at home. Food was good. Got a call to confirm reservation and inquire if we had any special needs food or accomodation wise which speaks once again to the service here. We will be back!

Very homey atmosphere as if you're in someone's house and are their guest. Staff is professional and attentive. Food is very good and is a mix of classics and the modern fare. Bar/cocktails are top notch too. A sure bet for dining or catering, I've been here for both.

Mother’s Day is notoriously busy and hectic at any restaurant. Shandon Court handled the crowd great. Service was a little slow but they were extremely busy so it was to be expected. The food was excellent!

Friday night, sat immediately by the sweetest hostess ever! She even went out of her way to replenish the oil for the candle at our table. Robert was our server, very nice, accommodating and never hovering. Mozzarella sticks app very typical and simple but good. Penne ala vodka entrees were pretty darn good I have to say. I would def return😀

Nice birthday lunch with a friend. Table wasn’t ideal..close to door which was very noisy and drafty. Service was great and food was great too.
