It is a great place. Don’t get me wrong. But I do feel the waiters got me on an upsell and I paid $200 for a steak that I didn’t realize was gonna be that price. (In fact, I think they were trying to pull the same move on the wine. The wine guy, who’s not a sommelier but thats ok, told me that they opened a bottle of Barolo for a group next to us and theyd pour us a couple glasses, I assumed for a by the glass price. I said yes. He came with a fresh bottle and started showing me a closed bottle for opening and I was worried that he was gonna be charging me for the bottle. I had to clarify that beforehand.) The $200 bone in steak could’ve been cooked a little bit more. we did tell them medium. But it was indeed still very good. The fish dish was OK. The pasta with it was ok. When I compare this place to a place like Nora’s, I think Noras is the better choice. But we would come back and try it again!

This place is a nice first date, casual week day dinner , or a special occasion you just can’t go wrong with this little Italian gem. The food was amazing and had great portion sizes. It was just a little to load for me by the end of our dinner, but not to the point i would not go back even for a late night cocktail at their bar. We will be coming to dine again for sure , also to try out their cozy little pastry shop connected to the restaurant.

We love coming to Sgrizzi . The food is amazing . So great . We come there often . And we have recommended to many friends and colleagues who also enjoy the food. Unfortunately , the service doesn’t match the level of the food . We’re not complainers nor difficult , we’re more observers and appreciative of good professional service . It’s the little things liking having to wave down a server for placing our order , or the desert menu or getting us the bill or taking the bill to process . Not describing the food or not knowing the sauces . The worst is showing up at the table without knowing what dish goes to which person . Both for the meal and desert . That’s good service 101. The front manager doesn’t seem to be attentive to observing to training and correcting the details . I hope you can focus and improve on service because we love coming there .

The food was flavorful without it being over the top. Everything we order was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The service was on point. Never had to wait for anything.

Another fantastic experience. The food and drinks are incredible, and the staff is friendly and accommodating every time. We always sit at the bar to be in the hub of all the action have such a great time doing that. Chef Marc and the team are amazing hosts. Thank you! Brian & Stacee Munroe.

Chef Marc continues to show his passion and attentiveness regarding the quality of his dishes, Service, and cocktails. My wife and I have known him since his first restaurant on Westlake Mead and I’ve never been disappointed over now close to 30 years. Art Taylor

Incredible dinner over at Sgrizzi. Chef Marc and Matte both came to the table to show us some love. The description and passion they put into their food and presentation is next level. The restaurant is a bit out of the way, but so worth the drive. Great stuff by chef and staff. Don’t sleep on the pastries next door as well!!

This was our first time visiting Sgrizzi and we loved it. The food was delicious, the drink selections were fun and tasty. I had the Luscano! Great atmosphere and experience. We will return.
