I came for my anniversary with my partner. The food was very tasty. Wagyu meatballs are a must. I was not floored by the service, which should be excellent given the price point. It actually ruined the experience for me. Our server was very distracted, and was not knowledgeable about the menu. He didn’t even offer us the specials without prompting, nor could he offer any non-alcoholic drink options and seemed offended or disappointed that I requested them. After we finished eating, we asked for boxes. Another server came to box our food, but our server disappeared and we waited so long for our check, I had to get the manager to bring it. I left with a bad taste in my mouth.

So delicious! Best steak I have ever had. Also the table side Caesar salad is an absolute must!!! I wish I could afford to go once a week, because I totally would! I don’t know how a medium-medium rare steak can be piping hot! It’s just unheard of! So perfect!

Sexy Steak is Sexy. The Italian Margarita was refreshing and very well balanced. The Wagyu Pastrami and Burrata appetizers were outstanding and together made a great pair. Ambience and service were great. 12/10 recommend this restaurant for date night, milestone celebrations, girls night out or just a fun night out in Detroit.

It was our first time back at the location since Republic and, overall, the dinner was pretty typical for a steak house. There's a good choice of steak options (and more), shareable sides, good drinks, great service, with a price to match. Although our server was great and she handled everything with priority, my noted complaints are my steak wasn’t prepared as requested (returned and cooked to my liking) and the risotto was more like oatmeal (overcooked), which I didn’t return. Sexy Steak is def a nice steakhouse addition to the city’s roster, so we will likely return in the future.

Perfect place for any occasion! Very elegant, well decorated & just gorgeous. Food was very good, drinks were very pleasant too. I loved the ambiance & the atmosphere of the restaurant. The music & decor was vibrant. Restrooms clean & the staff was very welcoming and friendly! 20/10 I enjoyed my birthday, will be back! 🥳❤️
