   They ran out of food! To be fair, someone there gave us coupons for a concert at Severance. We had reservations for 1:00. The omelet station was great. Every where else the buffet table and dessert table were almost out of food!

   We went for the Santa Brunch before taking our granddaughter to her first concert at Severance. It was most disappointing and we will not do it again. The Santa was not engaging, he could have been a poster for all the warmth he projected. The food was only mediocre, expected better for $50. They ran out of bacon midway thru the brunch. The pastries were not tasty. As a non egg eater I can’t speak to the omelette quality. And the waffles were only ok.

   The brunch was excellent. Food was prepared well and arranged appealingly. Santa was a nice touch for the children, but we feel he should have done more interacting with the children. We were hoping for a more “Christmas-y feel” and felt it was a little expensive for the experience. The food was excellent, will try the restaurant again for a special occasion.

   The restaurant is lovely and the employees were friendly. The food was good. My only issue is that for a rather formal restaurant, they served our mimosas in very inexpensive plastic water glasses meant for an outdoor picnic! That is really unacceptable for the quality of the restaurant and the price of the brunch.

   Food was cold. Omelet bar took too long to cook. I’m not talking about ordering, I’m talking about inadequate equipment. We got there an hour before leaving and the selection was cold and was was scarce. Baskets were empty and were not refilled. With a cost of $50.00 you expected more with better service. They advertised mimosas and Bloody Mary’s. There were no Bloody Marys because they did not have a liquor license - only beer and wine. Sorry, I’d like to be more positive but it is what it is.

   BRAVO! for the fleeting return of pre-concert dining! Since the Covid closing of the restaurant, we have skipped many of the concerts due to the earlier concert time and the inconvenience of finding a leisurely dinner elsewhere. Catering has its special challenges; among them, everyone arrives at the same time and needs to leave at the same time, and patrons need to appreciate that. And 5 stars for the string trio!

   Could be no greater compliment than the truth ... extremely well done. The food from the caterer was outstanding and beautifully presented. The wait staff unsurpassed anywhere. Just a little pricey.
