   HOLY SESSIONS. I just had one of the most surreal, elevated, next-level experiences in San Diego and I’m still buzzing from it. I walked into Sessions in National City not knowing what to expect... and I left feeling like I had just visited the mecca of the modern cannabis movement. No joke, this is San Diego’s first cannabis lounge and they were not playing when they said it is an experience! First floor? A top-tier dispensary. Clean, stylish, organized, but that’s just the gateway. Because once you go upstairs... You’re transported. A... dimension shift. The second floor is a whole alternate universe of vibes. You walk in and you’re greeted by this gorgeous indoor space filled with clouds of joy, people laughing, blazing, passing around every type of device imaginable. Custom rigs. Volcanoes. Joints on joints. Tables full of snacks, drinks, and deep conversations. Then you hit the outdoor patio and my soul left my body. Huge open air space, people sprawled out like it’s a summer rooftop party, good food everywhere, inside, a live DJ. Outside, as if that wasn’t enough, there was a live band playing next door, the whole thing sounds and feels like a low-key festival curated by the universe itself. Saw familiar faces, market folks, random creatives, families, couples, people of all nationalities joined together to celebrate the plant. The energy? Electric. The staff? Straight-up angels. Everyone looked happy to be there, like they knew they were part of something historic. Sessions isn’t just a lounge. It’s the future. It’s a cultural landmark. It’s where the past, present, and high AF future of cannabis all link up and share a joint under the stars. If you’re in San Diego and you love the plant, the people, and the peace, get yourself to Sessions. Immediately.

   This place was so dope. 10/10 The music was great, the vibes were magnificent. The food is good. I can’t express enough how much I do not enjoy going out in San Diego but this place has changed the game. Good luck getting rid of me.. The drinks are non alcoholic but I sure couldn’t tell, they had the best mocktails I’ve ever had. The restrooms are so cool, I have never seen anything like it. Long story short , I want to tell you guys to come but like please don’t ruin this gem. I have officially fallen back in love with this city because of this place. My only suggestion is that they introduce a food happy hour menu and more vegan options.

   Went for a birthday dinner. Everything was perfect. Very chill vibe, reasonable pricing, friendly staff, good food, and LOVED the decor. We’ll be back for sure.

   The atmosphere was awesome and relaxing. The food was delicious and fulfilling. And the vibes were so chill. It was very informative and interesting to learn the different ways to partake in the lovely indulgence.

   I would absolutely recommend Sessions By The Bay! Incredible food and atmosphere! Love love love the music and vibe. My only recommendation is they could bring the volume of the music down maybe 1 notch. Other than that I will be a frequent regular for sure!

    I had a good experience overall, but honestly, I was disappointed that there was no bar. The staff were friendly and they did ask if I was OK and checked on me which because I was by myself made me feel a little awkward like maybe I wasn’t socializing enough lol. I did buy a cheesecake and ate it once I got home and that was pretty delicious. I just would like to see a little more entertainment and allow drinks. I think this place will be amazing.
