Welcome to Sessions By The Bay — San Diego’s first and only 21+ cannabis consumption lounge and market-style dispensary. Explore a curated selection of premium cannabis in a unique basket-and-browse setting. No reservation needed for the dispensary. The lounge offers a one-of-a-kind experience with mood-driven dining, Moroccan-inspired interiors, top-tier device rentals like Puffcos, and a rotating cannabis menu curated for each session, including highlights like guided rosin extract flights. Reservations are highly encouraged for lounge seating, covering both dining and cannabis consumption. Walk-ins are welcome but wait times may vary. If you encounter any issues booking, please call us at (619) 935-7374. Expect more than just a lounge — enjoy live music, immersive brand education, comedy shows, movie nights, and wellness events. The lounge reservation fee is waived with a $75 subtotal purchase in the retail dispensary. San Diego locals receive free entry from Monday-Thursday.

The atmosphere was awesome and relaxing. The food was delicious and fulfilling. And the vibes were so chill. It was very informative and interesting to learn the different ways to partake in the lovely indulgence.

I would absolutely recommend Sessions By The Bay! Incredible food and atmosphere! Love love love the music and vibe. My only recommendation is they could bring the volume of the music down maybe 1 notch. Other than that I will be a frequent regular for sure!

I had a good experience overall, but honestly, I was disappointed that there was no bar. The staff were friendly and they did ask if I was OK and checked on me which because I was by myself made me feel a little awkward like maybe I wasn’t socializing enough lol. I did buy a cheesecake and ate it once I got home and that was pretty delicious. I just would like to see a little more entertainment and allow drinks. I think this place will be amazing.

Ambience was amazing. DJ played great music. Staff was nice however, lots of waiting but to be expected as place is new

Overall great experience and ambience! They’re improving services compared to grand opening weekend. They need to coordinate better with the kitchen as we exceeded our time (90 minutes). Expect longer wait times when it comes to food orders.

Everything I wanted and more! Staff is super friendly and happy to introduce you to the world of cannabis lounges. Selection of food and drinks are great and the live DJ makes the ambient very chill and relaxed.

It was good, but not fun sitting indoors. Too much smoke. Some dude passed out and killed the vibe.

Love the experience just wish I had a different waitress. Always had a call for her attention to get our order or to remind her to bring something. We could see her in the corner dancing at the register instead of bringing our waters. Plus, she overcharged us so much. For my first experience, I wish it would’ve been better. I will be returning, but making sure I get a different waitress
