The restaurant has a unique mission; to eat well and do good. The mission of Sérénité is to instill leadership skills in men and women recovering from drug and alcohol addiction through an education in the culinary arts.
Our aim is to change the face of recovery through food and hospitality.

I chose this restaurant based on previous reviews. The menu had a lot of dining options and the prices were fair. The service started out slow, there seemed to be some confusion on if we were being waited on but once they figured it out it was great! Food was absolutely DELICIOUS!
This restaurant is personally my favorite in the Medina area. I love that they are charitable and help those that are starting a new chapter in their lives. Their food is exquisite as well with a wonderful romantic vibe to sit down and have a nice meal with your significant other.
Horseradish crusted Salmon was moist. Steaks were “ok”, goat cheese salad was Great. Burgers looked good but prepared well and asked for rare and mid rare. Like the concept but wouldn’t rush back for the price.
Again, our favorite restaurant! Great dinner Sat nite.
I always make reservations; as the Brunch in particular is getting busier each week - which is great!
We were out of character LATE arriving, but everyone concerning was SO accommodating!
Excellent Brunch as usual!
our main server was excellent(cant recall her name- she is leaving for Laalbratros). the junior server she was training had some challenges. Pleasant just not efficient or attentive enough
We visited here the very first time on December 1, 2018, and we were delighted with the selection and quality of the food, as well as the excellent, no---OUTSTANDING---service. We had to be mindful of the time so as not to miss a theater event, and the staff was VERY ACCOMODATING and sensitive to our time constraints. They even helped us watch the clock and made suggestions what to order and what NOT to order because certain selections would take more time to prepare. Our wait staff was attentive without being smothering, and everyone was genuinely friendly and helpful. We've already recommended this restaurant to many of our friends! We'd go back in an instant!
Went to this place to celebrate a birthday and it was fantastic. Great service, wonderful atmosphere, delicious food, and a stellar wine list. Every employee was so pleasant and accommodating. Well worth the drive from Cleveland's west side.
Exceptional evening in every way. Very helpful with wine and food selections. Nicely decorated without being pretentious.
This was our third visit to Serenite and with every visit we have been so impressed with the wonderful food and the 5 star service we receive! We will certainly make this one of our favorite dining establishments!
Can't say enough great things about the people here, very special folks who show you every time you visit, that they REALLY, REALLY care about providing excellent service, always delicious food presented impeccably!
They ran out of scotch, only had one and glass was half full. Charged $4.00 for ice for drink. Mixed up my leftovers and gave mine to another couple.
The food was very good. Server very nice, but it just didn’t go as the first time we were there.
This may be the best restaurant experience in Medina!! The food was amazing and the servers were awesome. I emphatically recommend anyone in the area to patron this fine restaurant on a regular basis. Five stars for me.
Was our 2nd Brunch visit....and this culinary crew has brunch down to a science! Carving stations, omelette & crepes by design, anything & everything for breakfast lunch & dinner! Beautifully setup & maintained, attentive kind service. All for an incredibly cool (as in amazing) price...for all you want to eat! I'd recommend reservations, though not required. But this secret is now out there!
Love this great place for dinner! Now I must pace myself for the best Brunch ever!
Could eat here every day the food and service are so good. Great atmosphere— would recommend it for any occasion! Also the Sunday brunch is to die for and very reasonably priced! Best restaurant in Medina.
Our first visit and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly and efficient. We have already recommended it to our friends and we plan to return often.
Second visit tonight - outstanding meal! Escargot did not disappoint! Impressive wine list. Waitstaff attentive, but servicing needs polishing. It was a jaunt for us (from Cleveland), but a pleasant drive, albeit the weather. I will be back and will introduce more friends to this hidden gem ❤️
We had the Cleveland Restaurant Week menu for $33. It’s amazing food, at a great price!
Every time we visit Sérénité, we love the ambiance, wonderful service, fabulous food and most of all the mission of Sérénité!
The servers were very attentive. The food was very good. The ambience was good.
The service is outstanding. The restaurant is very homey inside. I ate the rabbit, and it was good, but not fabulous. The salmon rillettes were outstanding, and I enjoyed our chocolate dessert. Most important, this cause is a worthy one to support.
Quite candidly, We previously dined at EDWINS on many occasions, where the food is nothing less than outstanding. The four of us at our table thought that without a doubt, Sérénité’s will be “the” restaurant in Medina county to go to for fine dining in a few short years. In discussions with our friends who dined with us, we acknowledge that we are not criticizing as much as informing Sérénité’s that thus far they have done an outstanding job within a very short period of time. But in order for improvements to be made and fulfilling their goal of helping others, they need our support. Which we will do do gladly and enthusiastically.
Absolutely fabulous service and food!! Will definitely go back!
Great food; fabulous concept. Service was slow. That was truly our only issue!
This was our first visit and were pleasantly impressed with the value. The food is outstanding and in spite of a few hiccups in service, we love that this is a facility training professionals who are overcoming addiction. Our servers were friendly and eager to deliver food they take great pride in. We thoroughly enjoyed the authentic escargot as a starter. I had the lobster tail - perfectly cooked and accompanied with excellent green beans and bernaise sauce. My husband had the hanger steak with fries and chose the Steak Diane sauce on the side. Both sauces were delicious and worth checking out. Shared the chocolate duo for dessert and loved it. I'm always impressed when coffee selections include french press and espresso drinks. We look forward to returning and also trying out the new brunch offering.
We were happy we chose Serenite to celebrate our daughter's birthday. She and her husband don't often treat themselves to such an upscale meal. The dining room off the bar was lovely and quiet. Every person who served us in any way what-so-ever was so professional that we forgot that they're all "in training." Any 5 star restaurant would be privileged to employ these people. I'm not sure that our server introduced himself, and I'm sorry we didn't ask. He was polished, polite, well versed in the menu, and very attentive.
We thought the food was quite good. I was surprised, however, that my husband's and son-in-law's steaks were served on a completely bare white plates with not even a garnish as presentation. Since they had chosen the macaroni and cheese as their sides and that came in bowls, the steak plate looked unexciting and a bit sad no matter how good the steak was. A choice of sauces is offered with each steak. My daughter enjoyed her scallops, and while my Coq au Vin was good, the sauce seemed a bit thick and too much like gravy. The chicken, however, was tender and delicious. There are less expensive offerings on the menu, and a couple of vegetarian/vegan ones as well. My husband was glad to see Crème Brulee, and the Beignets were a perfect French inspired treat.
We wish everyone who undertakes the rigorous training of Chef Chrostowski's Leadership and Restaurant Institute great success as they venture forth.
Nice job by everyone for dinner service. A few miscues but overall food very good, service cordial and a very nice evening with friends.
This was the second time we have eaten at Serenite. The first time I gave it five stars. This time the food was delicious but our waitress seemed to be having a bit of an "off night". It wasn't terrible but not as good as the service last time. I had the horseradish salmon and my husband had the cod special. Both were superb. This was our friends first visit and they loved the food.
Food, service, wine list, crafted cocktails....all very good. Will absolutely be back, and highly recommend. Love the concept of Serenite!
The staff was very attentive. The food was excellent. For the most part it was quiet but there was one group that was occasionally loud for that type of venue.
Rather typical menu. The service left a lot to be desired.
Friendly, casual service at a white-tablecloth restaurant. Very good food, priced a bit high, but a good place for a special occasion if you need to accommodate different tastes. Unique venue.
The service was great and the food was delicious. Fantastic wine selection.
Excellent food, service, and ambience. A fine destination and special event restaurant.
We cannot say enough about our dinner the other night. Food was EXCELLENT! Service was excellent. Seafood was fresh and prepared with a garlic butter sauce. I had the hangar steak with the French mac and cheese. Was the best I have had. We finished with the creme brûlée’s which were prepared to perfection. Bravo to the chef and staff.
We enjoyed our first trip to Serenite! Great good and good service. Only thing we didn't like was the draft from the window near the booth where we were seated. (When the front door opened, it seemed like it got worse, even though we were seat in the back room!)
Truly appreciate the restaurant's special mission.
The back story is very interesting and important for second chances.
Employees were uplifting and proud of their journey and opportunities.
Food was spectacular...beautifully presented and unusual. We had the salmon and scallops....the best we've ever had.
We will be returning!
Dinner was good but not exceptional- I had high hopes from things that I had heard.
We enjoy fine dining. Having been to Edwin’s, this is a half-step behind. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and expect it to continue to grow to Edwin’s level. We recommend it and will return.
The food is phenomenal, the atmosphere is hat I would term upscale casual. While the food is excellent high end dining, and the servers are all very professional and polite, are also very friendly and make you feel totally comfortable. Too look around I feel like I am in an expensive restaurant, yet the atmosphere is very relaxing and casual. I have been here 3 times, and everyone I have come with has absolutely loved it!
Every time that I return I continue to be extremely impressed by the great food and value-based prices!
