Always delicious food at Serafina. So glad to have a location on the LES!
We really loved this restaurant. I highly recommend it.
Always great food. Bronzino was really good. My family loves their pastas as well. Pretty loud, but could still have conversation. Second time eating here and will definitely return.
Great restaurant excellent service
Too loud, drunk people screaming.
I had the spinach ravioli in butter sage sauce - outstanding! Calamari and meatball appetizers were fabulous too!
Our waiter Demir was the right balance of attentive and knowing when we didn’t need to be bothered. We started with black truffle pizza and it was so delicious. We will be back!
Food and cocktails were delicious. Really tasty moscow mule, caribbean vice, and espresso martini. Calamari and Caesar salad were delicious. Perfect potatoes, brussel sprouts, and penne ala vodka. Great view of the street corner and all the graffitti. Bathrooms very clean
My favorite Italian in the neighborhood. The food and drinks are great and the service is warm and professional. Great environment to hang out in and Jimmy always takes care of us
A nice place for a meal. Service was a little slow.
So helpful with all dietary questions like gluten free and dairy free / without cheese! The Brussels sprout/avocado salad is amazing. The thin fries are great. The spaghetti squash is underrated and amazing! Everyone also loved the pizzas. Allie was so nice every time I called in advance of the reservation.
Sweet server, great food, left very happy
Perfect for a celebration brunch with some friends. We were able to stay as long as we wanted without being rushed. Drinks came out quickly and food was good.
Always a good time at Serafina. Food is always amazing, drinks are good, good crowd and amazing service always. Cool vibe.
Avoid! A drunk manager took our order, we weren’t sure if it was some random drunk off the street, that’s how uncomfortable we felt. He checked up on us once and then probably was gone to the bar around the corner! The other servers in the restaurant didn’t cater to us because they weren’t responsible for our table and when clearing our food, I was still eating mind you, I had to chew down quicker so he can grab my plate. And it was NOT closing time... Serefina is a good restaurant, this location, garbage!
Don’t get the meatballs, they are over cooked!
Delicious food. Attentive staff. Their GM Santiago runs a smooth operation. Very friendly. One of my favorites on the LES
Great food and wonderful service! We had the best waiter in NY!
I went with some friends for my birthday. Very cozy atmosphere. Food was delicious. Amazing dessert. Service was great. Very nice place!
an amazing restaurant. it was my birthday and they gave me the private room for free! such good food and great service.
part of my party was late but they were so accommodating and nice about it. two of us has pasta - penne vodka and gnocchi in pomodoro sauce - and my friend got the margarita pizza. we enjoyed the pasta but my friend said the pizza was just ok and her moscow mule wasn’t that great
Great Italian food, good service, hilarious bathrooms
Always a good experience
I've been to several of the Serafina locations and I always have a great time. Serafina Ludlow did not disappoint. It's consistently great.
Great experience. Love the ambiance and the food. Well priced as well I believe I will be returning
Great experience. Food was AMAZING and do fresh. The waitress was lovely. We had such a good night, we returned for brunch the next day and had the exact same great experience.
I had four friends staying in the City overnight before heading out on a cruise and needed to select a restaurant close to their hotel. Having eaten at other Serafina locations in the past and having enjoyed them, I selected the Serafina Ludlow. To be fair, I believe my negative impression was most likely the result of poor service. Our waiter was totally aloof; she didn't listen, and acted as if she could care less if we were there. We had to repeat most things; food came our wrong; and towards the end of the dinner, when she was at the table, she looked me right in the face as I asked for something. She continued to stare blankly, so I asked again, louder, then she responded. Every other person who approached our table was very professional and pleasant. As for my food, I ordered the caprese salad. The tomatoes were tasteless. For my entree, I ordered penne alla vodka. It was lukewarm at best and the sauce was gelatinous. It was similar to when I bring home leftovers and have only partially heated them. My friends generally thought the food was very average. The only saving grace is that, as far as Manhattan restaurants go, it was moderately priced.
Very good food. Excellent service! Glad we tried this place!
The service was amazing! Our waiter was very attentive and extremely nice. I ordered the filet mignon burger (without the bun) and the chef sent it out beautifully plated with a delicious mixed green salad. OMG the burger... It was amazing! The pizza was fantastic too!! Definitely going back! The food alone makes it worth it. Delicious!
The food was great, staff was very professional and accommodating for our party of 9! Bruschetta was so fresh and delish, highly recommend💙
Saturdays brunch for 3 before going to the Tenement Museum. Typical brunch menu for a nice brunch place. Eggs Benedict was delicious
Good omelets, with anything you wanted in them. Service was efficient and pleasant. Definitely recommend. And.easier to get a reservation than at some other places in the area.
perfect summer night meal. The avocado brussel sprout salad was definitely worth it. We share a gnocchi dish which was delicious.
We absolutely love Serafina. The Cacio e Pepe is incredible.
Very good fare and drink. Great salad and pizza.
Upon arriving for a 7p reservation on July 4th, I was met by a very rude staffer. They had all of the doors open and it was almost 100 degrees out, so perhaps he was just hot. Had I known there would be no a/c I would have booked elsewhere. That detail should be included on their OpenTable listing in the summer. He wanted to seat us on the hotter side of the restaurant and when I asked for one of the open tables closer to a breeze he said it was reserved and was again rude. I insisted and he caved, but never provided menus or water. The two people that waited on us ended up (mostly) saving the evening. They gave us a free round of drinks as an apology.
Use common sense in 100F weather and close the doors and crank up the a/c. Serafina is a mainstay in NYC, and I expect better.
This was our first visit to one of the Serafina restaurants. It was a pleasant experience, we thoroughly enjoyed it. The pizza was delicious, the plates were just the right size, and house wine was very good.
Food was great and so was service! Also they had really good happy hour deals!
Food was very good. Service was faster than expected. I would come here again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Serafina Ludlow! We were in NYC to see a play that was nearby and had a wonderful dinner! The bartender made me the best cosmopolitan that I have ever had. The service was timely and the food was amazing. I had the spinach and ricotta homemade ravioli and my husband had the salmon. Highly recommend and we will be back the next time we go into the city!
Great food, and good atmosphere. As others have mentioned, the service was less than attentive (we had to try multiple times to get our server's attention when we wanted the check) but overall would say that it was a good experience! Just ensure that you have enough time to make up for slow service when you dine here.
