AUGUST 10th. “ A Quartet of Summer White Wines—Sera Style”. Starting at 4:30pm Our sommelier team works hard to seek out these small, artisan estates and their expressive wines. This tasting is all about showcasing some of our most treasured discoveries and create an opportunity to taste and learn about them. We truly hope to see you there! 2022 PUNTA CRENA “Lumassina” Lumassina is an old, heritage grape variety that one doesn’t see too often today. Grown on the steep slopes of the coastal hills of Liguria, and farmed by this family for over 500 years. 2021 VIGNAI DA DULINE “Friulano” From our perspective, this is one of the most revelatory, authentic, and truly sustainable wine producers to come out of Italy—and this is a true, indigenous Italian white wine in all its glory. 2018 BRÉGEON “Gorges” This estate is one of the most revered—for me—out of France’s Loire Valley, thanks to its deep appreciation for heirloom grape vines, its very special and unique terroir, and its unwavering commitment to uber-sustainability and a masterful winemaking touch 2023 ATALIER Albarino “crus das animas” From Spain’s standout, wunderkind grape-growing and winemaking phenom, Raúl Pérez. 150+ year-old, own-rooted vines planted in cool, sandy soils. This is, comprehensively, a game-changing white wine—one that will serve as a benchmark for others to be measured against. FOUR STANDOUT wines……..just another learning opportunity. $56 per person, (not including tax or gratuity). There will be a small, intentionally selected ala carte menu which participants can order foods from after the tasting. Limited seating, so we suggest you book early.

Here are FOUR STANDOUT rosé wines—intentionally terroir-driven and savory—just full of “countryside" character--that pair beautifully with our style of cooking. 2022 ABBATUCCI Rosé "Faustine” Mega-savory, though unobtrusively, seamless and quite surprisingly refined, this is good as Corsican rosé gets and really showcases the character of a sun baked terrain and the wild herbs & shrubs that surround the vineyard. 2021 PUNTA CRENA Barbarossa “Colline Savonesi" This is from a family who has been growing and making their wines for over 500 years, Barbarossa is an indigenous, heritage vine they have brought back from regional extinction. Fabulous. 2023 MAXIME MAGNON Rosé “Métisse” Maxime is one France’s hottest winemaking maverick today. Interestingly, his methods are actually a throwback to how old timers grew and made their family wines……which is often opposite of more scientific approaches. vines—which is fermented separately)—both long, whole cluster fermentations in concrete. Yowza, NOW…….This is different! 2022 GIOVANNI MONTISCI Rosato “Barossu” Barrosu is a Sardinian term meaning brash or arrogant—and the name fits. This is an unapologetically brazen, hearty, mega-savory rosé--100% old-vine Cannonau—wild-yeast fermented in 1,000-liter tanks, then aged for 6 months in old barrique before being bottled unfiltered and unfined. Come on, take a trip on the wild side! FOUR STANDOUT wines……..just another learning opportunity. $56 per person, (not including tax or gratuity). There will be a small, intentionally selected ala carte menu which participants can order foods from after the tasting. Limited seating, so we suggest you book early.

Returned for the weekday happy hour as dinner was very good. Fantastic value and the food was delicious. I’m impressed with the consistency absolutely no skimping on quality or quantity with the discounted prices. Breakfast is also of high quality. Recommend the poached eggs, again, perfectly soft poached. Espresso and cappuccino coffees are also great (best I’ve had so far on Honolulu). Will be recommending Sera to friends.

Ordered two items: 1 The Tasting Trio $35 . It was served within 15 min. 2 The Scallops $44. It took about 45-50 minutes to receive it. Both dishes were delicious but expensive.

New management group. While the menu has some changes, it is more appealing to a broader spectrum of possible patrons. Service was VERY good. Food was VERY good. Can have a conversation but it can be a little noisy.

Very comfortable setting and vibe. The food is grreat. I had the hamachi crudo, which is fairly common in Honolulu, but Sera's is very unique and flavorful. Great service as well, and nice wines by the glass

We started by sharing their delicious Caesar Salad. My husband had meatballs and spaghetti and I had the Frutti de Mare. We had bunches of their wonderful pita bread which was the best we’ve ever had. Everything was delicious. Our waitress was excellent, as were all the people who served us. We especially enjoyed the beautiful young woman who kept us supplied with the pita bread. Everyone was very warm and friendly. The restaurant has a very upbeat, energetic vibe. This is a lovely restaurant, with delicious food and great service. We look forward to coming back.
