Senia's founding Chef/Owner, Anthony Rush, has decades of culinary experience at the two and three Michelin-star level. Chef Rush applies his abundant and extraordinary talents to two different menus. Our à la carte menu highlights refined casual dishes, making Senia a great neighborhood restaurant. Our tasting menu, offered on Friday and Saturday nights at our Chefs’ Counter, is an exclusive and beautiful gastronomic experience that highlights incredible ingredients and exceptional technique.

Senia’s name is a play on the word “xenia”, the ancient Greek ideology of hospitality where strangers and friends alike were treated with the same regard. It is in that spirit that we welcome you to join us.

With only eight seats available, the Chefs’ Counter dining experience is exclusive and immersive, placing you in the vibrant kitchen environment and allowing you to interact directly with our culinary team. The tasting menu brings the talents of Chef Anthony Rush and his team into focus: sourcing the highest quality seasonal ingredients, preserving the purity and beauty of those ingredients, and collaboratively developing technique and composition. The results are original and inspired dishes, perfectly presented, and culminating as a beautiful and carefully considered gastronomic experience. The Tasting Menu is available Fridays and Saturdays with one seating at 6:30pm.

Fabulous food in downtown Honolulu, the neighborhood is a bit sketchy, but the restaurant, service and kitchen are top notch. Every dish (except one dessert) were not only presented beautifully, but delicious and well balanced. Highly recommended

Senia is a an outstanding experience. The ambience is stunning and service is first class The food is phenomenal and drinks a delight to match. Would highly recommend, a visit to Senia is an excellent idea!

This was our second trip to Senia via our annual stay in Hawaii. Last year my beloved found this gem and booked an incredible birthday dinner. It was an absolute experience and Chef Anthony was able to share some great conversation with us while we admired the dedication and harmony of the entire staff at the chef counter. This year we returned and it was different, and equally incredible. Nick waited on us again and delivered a renewed level of service even while spending a lot of time helping the bar through a busy rush. We are so honored to be welcomed to Senia by everyone. The regular dining menu looked just as divine as last time and now we are torn if we give up the chef’s table next year to try out the “normal” dining service. Thank you Chef Anthony and team. Everything is wonderful here. Probably the bone marrow is the most notable but it is hard to choose what is the best. The service is better than any restaurant I have been to. Every server acts like the restaurant belongs to them and they are excited over every entree.

The food was an absolute killer. Love love it. My highlight was the lemon cake and the chicken to share. Yum !!
