   The food here was excellent! The staff was very nice and helpful in assisting us with our selections. We have had Ethiopian food many times and can truly attest that this restaurant is a winner.

   The food and service were fine. But another customer lit incense while were eating and the scent was irritating to your sensed.

   Specializing in meat, this Ethiopian gem delivers delicious great food and friendly service. The kitfo comes with three kinds of ayib, and the gored gored was very tasty. Portions were very generous and the injera was terrific. Would definitely recommend.

   Food was average, not at all as good as many other Ethiopian restaurants. The place is gloomy and the decor is perfunctory. It seemed like it mainly serves as a hangout for Ethiopian men to get together to drink. We asked for one vegan platter and one meat sampler, and to the chagrin of the vegan in the group, both meat and vegetable dishes were served together on the same platter. It never occurred to the waiter to even ask. Then, when we tried to split the check three ways, with two paying cash and a third paying with a card, the waiter "lost" my friend's credit card. When he eventually found it, he had conveniently overcharged my friend by adding more for the tip than intended.

   The restaurant was empty which is really surprising given the excellent quality of the food! We came here based on the recommendation of a friend and the food lived up to our high expectations. We will definitely come back and bring others with us.

   Wow! Took a chance on this place as we were in adventurous mood. Had wanted to try Ethiopian cuisine. We knew little except that you eat without utensils. Tried vegan platter and assorted meat platter plus samosa-like appetizer filled with ground chicken. Every dish was amazing. Lots of interesting spices and textures. All eaten scooped up with spongy soft thick crepe-like bread. Very delicious and chili heat in some dishes not overpowering. Very filling. We ended up with lots to take home. So venture out of your comfort zone and give this place a try. Not fancy but service is good and food is outstanding. Side note: You will eat everything with your hands so make sure they are clean. Ask for extra napkins. Maybe bring wet wipes? It gets messy.

   Excellent food - fresh and expertly prepared. Better value than at some of the better known Ethiopian restaurants in the city (i.e. lamb for $17.99 rather than $26.99). Hidden gem.

    The food itself was very tasty. Our issue was with the service. We ordered our food at 5:05 pm and didn't get our food till 5:45 pm.
