Fun. Comfortable. Vibrant. In 2011, veteran restaurateur Dennis Barbaro wanted to establish a new kind of restaurant on a simple premise: to serve fine craft beer and wine lovers alike in a warm, natural and sophisticated environment.
Now with multiple locations and more in the works, Sedona Taphouse continues to offer an inviting atmosphere the community loves. Since its inception, Sedona Taphouse has won numerous awards for its craft beer selection and food offerings and is rated `World Class' by Beer Advocate.

Sedona’s atmosphere is warm, casual and inviting. The food was fresh, prepared perfectly, delivered hot and was excellent. However, at this price point I was disappointed that there weren’t any leftovers. The serving sizes were just a tad too small. Desserts were out-of-this-world delicious! Our server was friendly, prompt, knowledgeable, and responsive. The staff cleared all dishes after each course. We did indicate in advance that our anniversary was the special occasion, however, that was not acknowledged. Overall it was a great experience. We will be back.
We had a reservation for six and were seated right away in a large booth near the bar. The service was prompt and attentive. It was too noisy due to type of music being played and the volume. The food arrived promptly and was cooked to perfection. Very good meal. We would return but hope we are able to have a conversation at least.
Food was good as usual. The waiter Kyle was great. The noise level inside was loud. The music was up very high. Also the temperature in side that evening was nice at first the felt very cold like a door was open. And it lasted for a while. Even though several other tables complained.
Love the food and ambiance at Sedona Taphouse. We were there with family, everyone ordered something different, and everyone was completely satisfied with their dinner. Excellent restaurant.
Food was good. and although packed with people, the service was up to the task. Based on the crowd, the food arrived quickly, to my pleasant surprise. Great amount of beer choices. Will definitely return.

Our server was mediocre, my fries were cold. The server promised I could request an amendment to my meal, which arrived differently on my plate with apologies. The salmon was overcooked. None of us wanted to send the food back for fear of retribution, so we just dealt with it. However, fortunately the manager came by for a wellness check and we shared our concerns. He obliged us by removing the fries (untouched) and gifting us a dessert. That act will prompt a return visit. This was my 4th visit and I have always had a pleasurable dining experience.

T’was New Year’s Eve but, some observations. We Waited 20 minutes over in a crammed spot in relation to what our time our reservation was. If you’re going to allow reservations in a timely matter, be timely. It makes your business look bad.
Food was overpriced in accordance with portion size. There was food and trash all over the floor and the whole staff looked overwhelmed. Waiting 20 minutes for a drink to finally come to our table was somewhat obnoxious. I do think the food was quite good. Too bad the initial reaction wasn’t as good. The food was good, with good flavor.
We will come again, only for the 20 percent off we signed up for and to give it another shot. But, somewhat lacking in regards to all level of dining in. I’d say it’s a step up from Applebee’s but with prices that don’t align to what the perception is once you pull into the parking lot.
Atmosphere was good, food was good. But, for New Year’s Eve ne would think it would be a little more high level. It’s what matters in the overall scope of your business to a customer.
Amazing service, food and great atmosphere
Our server was attentive and always smiling. Food was yummy. Only issue is that we were seated next to 2 sets of couples that were tooooo loud but not the restaurants fault.
We just love Sedona!! Their food is consistently excellent as is the service. The atmosphere is fun, and the array of beers is impressive. Great place!!!
It was my sons birthday. Got seated within 15 minutes of our reservation time at a high top in front of the fireplace. Our waiter was fantastic for being such a busy night. We ordered and after 45 mins or more we still hadn’t gotten out meal. The manager came and apologized offering us a free drink. We love Sedona.

Well received by host and wait staff. Attentive and professional. The wings are some of the BEST!! Smoked with a finish in the roaster. NOT fried. They were great!
They used a smoked salt on the edamame and that was the clincher. I could've made a meal out of those 2 items alone. First time and definitely not the last time. We'll be back for sure.
My Sister Group had our annual gift exchange and luncheon. We enjoyed the food not one complaint. The waitress was tentative and knowledgeable. Overall good time.
Food here is awesome! Our waitress was very kind and attentive. I have a gluten intolerance and they had so many options! I cannot wait to go back.

We are frequently there on Monday's for the happy hour and the charity steak/salmon.
I made reservations three days in advance. Was 15 minutes early and had to wait 45 minutes to be seated. The waitstaff and food was excellent. I will be back!
I have never had a bad meal at Sedona. Love the crab and shrimp sandwich. Very good service and a nice lunch.
Craig/Greg (our waiter) was wonderful! He was super helpful and helped us become vip members since we come often.
Showed up for 1215 reservation at 1205. Couldn’t get a table so at 1235 they put two cocktail tables together at bar. Finally got food at 110. Server was very nice and understand it was Xmas but poorly planned by restaurant. Had to listen to argument at host station for 20 minutes about a table of 9 that they did not record reservation so a little distracting. Finally left at 145 so a long lunch
Great night out with friends for the holidays. Excellent food enjoyed by all six of us and Wednesday was hopping at Sedona as it was half off bottles of wine night. Only disappointing part of wine deal was Conundrum is $55 a bottle a not included as they only reduce bottles under $50, so we paid full price for our two bottles. We celebrated the holidays and three birthdays in the group over the wine and meals including filet,mushroom and pasta special, flat iron steak, filet mignon, and a couple other main courses. All were fantastic. Appetizers (stuffed jalapenos and a spicy shrimp dish) were both flavorful and great starters for the group. Waiter was friendly and attentive and manager had apologized at the time we were seated for the delay and offered to buy an appetizer for us. All in all great service and food. I have eaten here for lunch a few times but this was the first dinner experience and we will be back. First time for four of our friends and they all said they would come back also.
We made a reservation for 6pm and showed up 20mins early, we were shopping in the area. The hostess said we would be sat closer to 6pm. Two parties with 6pm reservations came in and were sat immediately. We waited until 6:15pm to ask if our table would be ready soon, host said they were waiting for a table to get up. We were sat between 6:20-6:30. In my reservation I stated it was for a birthday celebration and needed a highchair. They sat us in a high top booth near the bar. My two year old couldn’t come close to reaching the table in the highchair. We resorted to a booster seat which he didn’t sit well in which is why we requested a highchair!
At that point I just wanted to order, eat and leave.
Our server was extremely busy with other tables, he came with our toddlers meal, no silverware. My husband had to go to the bar to ask for some. My husband ordered another drink and it never came until we were ready to go. Another server came and checked on us twice which I assume was because our server was too busy. No manager ever came around to ask how we were doing etc.
The food was good but the portion size was skimpy for the price. Overall with all the options in Troy and on big beaver alone, we won’t be back. Not kid friendly in my opinion either.
