                          I had a great first time! I got a table easy with a quick reservation and then had some of the most amazing oysters at a great price. if you’re thinking about the sticky brussels sprouts, do it! the scallops were perfect with a home made slaw on the bottom, and the staff was kind and super chill. props to everyone there for a great experience

                          We thought the food was quite good though we only had apps. Blaine and Josh were excellent and made the experience a lot of fun. It seems mainly tourists eat here but locals should give it a try. Great place to sit on the balcony and share some apps and drinks.

                          Cute place. Very few customers the evening we were there. Oysters were good. Other appetizer and gumbo were awful. Decided not to have an entree since those were subpar. Very disappointed.

                          Wow! The food was outstanding. We started with the raw oysters...they were huge. Sadly, we ordered them on the stroke of 6pm and weren't able to get them for the happy hour price. Kind of surprised they weren't able to make that happen, but as our time went on, we found that our server wasn't really about us. That said, the food was outstanding. From the raw oysters to the crab cakes which were truly outstanding. the sauce on them was delicious and they are a plentiful size. We also loved the house salad, which was a lighter version of a Caesar salad...really refreshing and flavorful. Then we had the duck bacon wrapped scallops with a really wonderful cabbage and Brussels sprout slaw which I loved. My husband was a little les enthusiastic about that, but I thought it was great, with just the right amount of spice. He thought the flavors overwhelmed the scallops, but I loved that dish. We finished with the cinnamon roll dessert...I thought I might be in heaven after enjoying that. It was sooo good! Overall, the food was outstanding, and if we go back, that will be the reason. They seated us upstairs, and it was pretty dead. I had commented that I wanted to be where there was some activity, and that clearly was not it. Wish we had been downstairs or outside, which we had opted not to be, so that's on us. Our server, was fine. Just didn't show us any hospitality. No care about our experience. There was another woman, maybe a manager, who was much more helpful and way more hospitable. The server we had could use some training. With so many good restaurants in New Orleans, the staff needs to be really excellent...mediocre just wonm't get it done. Even if the food is outstanding.

                          The food was okay. Chargrilled oysters were delicious! Pretty expensive for my taste. $170 with tip for just two of us for a dozen grilled oysters and two entrees, a coke and a tea.

                          Sorry to say that we were disappointed with our meal at Sea Witch. Our waiter was friendly but got overwhelmed with another large party that he was waiting on. He was apologetic but forgot a drink order and the service was slow. The veal and fish we ordered sounded promising but was very salty and overly seasoned. The salad was over dressed as well. The portions were generous and when the food did arrive it was hot, so not entirely the servers fault.

                          We got the mother shucker for appetizers and I was not a fan of the oyster shooters but everything else was amazing. The duck was phenomenal and the pork chop was cooked perfect.
