Seaweed Steaks, Seafood & Sushi
Dishes are prepared in three separate areas; the main kitchen, the sushi bar and the raw bar. Rather than offering individual starters and main courses, Seaweed serves dishes that are designed to be shared at the table or enjoyed individually, and are brought to the table continuously throughout the experience.
The sirloin was tough, the grouper was overcooked, the accompanyments were limited and the prices were high.
Always a delight! Never have had a bad meal yet and the waiters are always on top of their game.
Valentines Day dinner, food was very average
Seaweed is our new favorite restaurant! Every aspect outstanding!
Creative food at reasonable prices. Nive selection of wines.
Great meal. Server was very helpful with dinner suggestions.
Great food! Excellent service! Our new "Go To" restaurant.
Lou was the man! Awesome server. I’m also a bay star employee and wanted to check out a new sister restaurant! 10/10!
We go to this restaurant 3 times a month. The food is always consistent and delicious. Great servers too!
The martini glass looked like some desert goblet, bad. The content was fine.
The snapper wings were interesting and delicious. I will definitely order those again.
The tuna was very good but a little small. A bigger portion at a higher price would have been better.
Other than I got shortchanged $5, an honest mistake which I did not catch at the time either, we had a good experience.
Food was very good except the shrimp was a little well done. Otherwise, everyone was pleased with their selections. Service was good. We ate outside and it was beautiful.
Swordfish was excellent! Steak was perfectly cooked and very flavorful. Pairing with entrees was not what we preferred ,but we did change them. Service was good considering the crowd. Definitely will return .
Our Waitess Carley did a very goog job, helping us with the Menu Items
Been there 5 times since SeaWeed opened, always good
We had the sushi and everything was great.
Hostess was somewhat rude. Wait staff was nice but hustling. Food was good but pricey considering everyrhing
Awesome.....Our waitress Heather was very attentive and provided excellent service through out our dining experience. It is always a pleasure to dine there!
Food was up to a BayStar restaurant expectation. The kitchen was a bit slow and the runner brought us another table's food, but that had nothing to do with our server...he was great. I would work on the presentation of the hogfish. We will be back.
Again we enjoyed our dinner !! This was a last minute run up and relax night with my husband and Seaweed did not let us down. Food and service were both amazing :)
Sent food back because it was not hot enough. Also, the waitress warned me about the curry sauce being spicy. I thought it was rather bland. Ordered a ginger creme brûlée for dessert. It was a great tasting vanilla brûlée but had no ginger flavor whatsoever.
Excellent varied menu with good value. Friendly staff and upscale ambiance. We will return.
Great seafood. Best sushi on this side of the bay. They always have good specials too.
Food was sketch and the service was very slow. Took 1/2 hour to get check. Very disappointed.
We love Sea Weed, the food, drinks and servers are right on point. We usually have the Snapper Wing appetizer or one of their sushi rolls which are fantastic. My go to dinner is the Dashi Ramen Bowl and my husband likes the fresh fish specials. No matter what you order you can’t go wrong. There is something for everyone and everything comes out delicious. Robin, the manager watches over the customers as well as the chefs and the servers and really makes sure that you have a good experience.
Great dinner and service! Really enjoyed the different variety on the menu! Very relaxed environment. Would definitely recommend to others.
Friends lovely spot
Server left half way through.
Filet mignon was raw.
Not worth the money.
The shrimp appetizer was fabulous.
The half first main course was so salty it was almost inedible. The restaurant is a redo of a failed restaurant in the same location, food is better, ambiance, just as bad.
Sushi is actually the best around - don’t be afraid to make mods on the rolls. The skewers are killer too.
Ask for Natalie from France, she provides awesome service and knows the menu very well - and the menu is amazing too.
Robin, the GM, is about the best there is in the business.
They had changed their menu the very same day when we went for dinner.
We were a bit apprehensive because our favorites were not on the menu anymore. But they had wonderful choices: the food was delicious and our server Britney was absolutely wonderful!
The sushi is first class.
All in all a wonderful experience!
Fabulous meal and a superb setting. Fantastic server, Natalie. We will definitely be back.
We ordered lobster stuffed with scallops. The lobster meat was removed and scallops were inserted. That left very little lobster meat in the shell. It was not worth $24.00 .
Unique menu choices and flavors were fresh. Service was attentive and well done. We’ll be back.
Must go! So many different things in the menu. Red snapper wings must try
New Years Eve
glazed sweet potatoes awful- heavy sweet glaze, had to send them back. some type of bread should be served if you order an entrée. I like different salads but a nice basic salad should be offered as one of your sides. ok dining neighborhood spot. do you have a happy hour? we were there after 8 pm.
We usually like Seaweed and have always had good meals, but New Year's Eve was not good. The porterhouse was mealy and closer to medium than medium-rare, the potatoes came out barely warm, and the tiramisu was mediocre. Very disappointing for what was supposed to be a special dinner!
The food and service were outstanding. We tried a few appetizers between four people and they were excellent. I had a ramen dish which was very good, but I did expect a lot more for $15. For a celebration, I would definitely come back, but for a casual meal, I would go somewhere that was a better value.
We were greatly disappointed for our first visit since the rebranding from Marlin Darlin. We thought the food was expensive, creative foody meals we didn’t care for, but good service.
Our reservation was for 4:45, by 5:20, the waiter said the kitchen still hadn’t decided on the Specials for the night! Not sure if we would go back....
