It was a very quiet Tuesday. The room is inviting. The service was friendly and understood our need for time and space. My coffee came with a piece of delicious pistachio biscotti. Everyone’s food came out hot and savory. Albeit my egg sandwich and accompanied salad could have been presented on a larger plate. The Avocado Beni was beautiful and the veggie skillet was said to be delicious but very spicy. Overall I would come back here on my own with a book and stay for awhile. (It is off season for vacationers, so I assume that’s why it was so perfectly quiet.). I forgot to mention the coffee was very good.
We live locally and make a practice of exploring restaurants in our neighborhood. This one is 8 minutes away. Bottom line up front- keep your expectations LOW. It’s located in an open lobby with little ambiance. It looks more like a dressed up diner than a $$ restaurant. First, we were asked to wait for 25 minutes for a reserved table and literally 90% of the tables were completely empty. Weird. Sat at the bar for 25 minutes. The recommended wine (by “Manly” the bartender) was really not memorable. Then we were seated and hostess didn’t help us carry our stuff to the table. My hands were full- cold night, so coat plus purse, plus had to carry drinks and snacks from the bar. Then she pulled the chair out for me to sit in, positioning me to face the corner. I declined and took a seat- so did my husband- facing the room. As we settled in to make menu selections, we literally couldn’t hear each other. My husband changed seats and I whispered to my husband that it was loud. The water came over and offered us seating at one of their tables for 6, saying it was quieter there. We declined because we wanted something more intimate. I was a bit surprised by the offer- I guess I could view that intrusion on our conversation as good service or weird eavesdropping. We ordered two appetizers and two mains. Everything was just average. $160. We won’t be back. There are so many interesting restaurants to choose from in La Costa/Aviara/Bressi; this isn’t one of them.
Enjoyed a wonderful dining experience with a friend. Started the night off with a glass of wine at the bar and "Santa" was delightful and even showed us a few magic card trips...it was a quiet night. Our server was very attentive too. I had the pumpkin soup and Jidori chicken. Loved them both. My friend had the octopus appetizer and quinoa salad. She left nothing behind. We shared the apple dessert. This hidden gem is worth the visit for a nice night out.
This was our first time visiting Seasons Restaurant. Our waiter, Marcos, was fun, informative, and attentive. We ordered the Veal & Pork Bolognese and the Prime Petit Filet. Both dishes were delicious and meticulously prepared. We'll definitely dine here again.
We had never been here before but heard only good things. Very cool vibe. Greeted us by name and were very attentive all night. Started us with complimentary Prosecco and finished with a birthday surprise for my wife. The food was excellent and presented beautifully.
Varied menu great for everyone. A gem.
We enjoyed our family dinner here! The service and food were excellent and we appreciated being able to have a great meal for a great price with the kids!
Always a great meal and enjoyable
I am always pleased with my dining experience. Jorge is excellent, a long time FS Staff.
We ordered for appetizers the Octopus & Mussels excellent. For entrees the Cihicken and the Pomdoro delicious. And service was helpful & friendly. The only disappointment was for some reason our Open Table Reservation was not eligible.
Expected lunch but could only get brunch
We are becoming regulars, we are never disappointed. The staff is always genuine and attentive, the food excellent and the cocktails awesome! We highly recommend it
A casual restaurant in a very pretty setting. My main pasta dish was "Meh" but my friend's fish sandwich sans the bread was very good. The fries that came with it were outstanding. The wine was nice, and the creme brûlée with pears for desert was very good. Hard to say much more with such a small sample of the menu.
A wonderful gem hidden on Blue Heron place in Carlsbad. Great food and fabulous service. Kudos to Jorge our server. Conscientious, attentive and made my wife's Birthday dinner extra special. Thanks For Seasons!
Always a relaxing and enjoyable meal. Very nice
Love this venue! Food is terrific. Service is par excellence
We had an amazing night at Seasons. We were celebrating our anniversary and Marcos was so attentive and knowledgeable. We loved everything he suggested. The time and energy he invested in us during our meal made us feel special. We will definitely return!
Our server Katie couldn’t have been more delightful or attentive. The giant meatball was to die for and the flat bread was excellent. My yellowfin was well seasoned but over cooked but they immediately took it off the bill and offered replacement. Good wine list. We will definitely be back.
2 Friends birthday. Salads were great ate on patio. Quiet and waiter very attentive.
We went for Father’s Day Brunch..it was delicious! Getting there was a bit hard..Waze sent us to the Hotel..not restaurant.
Friendly staff.. We will go again when in Carlsbad.
Seasons is a great local eatery with wonderful food and impressive service. We enjoyed the spicy shrimp and caprese toast appetizers, and then both had the steak frites. All exceeded our expectations. Seasons remains a consistently excellent option within our local North County restaurant offerings.
The food was very good, service was excellent, but it got noisy when the restaurant are full, in fact , it is very noisy, but we have a good time
We were celebrating our anniversary, and Tommy, our server, and those assisting him, made everything very special for us!! We had a great time and will be sure to come again next time we visit the area!
Feature was the Field to Fork dinner special of 3 courses for 35.00 and was excellent. We were seated promptly and servers knowledgeable about menu and attentive .
Really appreciate the fresh—field-to-fork—approach. Menu is diverse, always something interesting. Love the sophisticated, yet casual decor. Do wish the TVs were off during diner service...messes with the ambiance.
Great service by Aileen.
Melissa was great!
Husband order eggs and sausage, plated separate. I ordered hash brown and bacon, plated separate. Sausage fried, over done. Applewood bacon over cooked, wrote on the receipt, was credited back. Waiter should have asked if items on one plate which is more common sense.. I have been coming to the Four Seasons for 20 years, I have Villa ownership. Pastry treat, muffin and croissant, not as fresh as it should be.
Ambience was nice. Service was extremely slow. The food was not memorable in anyway. We had to ask twice for a bread basket and when received it, bread was stale. Cocktails were nice and the wine was delicious. Would not go back.
Food and ambiance were amazing! Perfect brunch spot! Was torn on writing a review because I almost want this place to myself! Will be a new spot we frequent for sure.
Great service, great food. Staff are always attentive and wonderful and make our dining experience exceptional
Scallop, charcuterie, octopus, chicken, and panna cotta were great!
Much too noisy with TV's blaring at the open bar! Food pretty good and staff friendly. What's with the Caesar "Salad:? It's NOT a salad but stalks of romaine with dressing. Saves on labor & transfers the job to customers. I took my small grandson who loves these salads but he was stymied by the presentation.
Bellow average food with above average charge. No value in this one.
The best service and food.
Brunch at Seasons was a wonderful experience. Our waiter, Cay, was excellent. Such a delicious meal, with outstanding surroundings. Will make this a regular brunch spot.
Waited 40 minutes after ordering before going in search of staff in the kitchen to track down food. After 10 minutes we got bread and finally, 20 minutes after that, our lunches. I had invited 3 friends who did not know the restaurant. They won’t be returning. A crying baby gave us all a headache & staff seemed not to care. This was just bad management- a pity as the food is OK and the dining room very pretty. Service was charming but completely incompetent and untrained.
Always great service (Nick is the best! And Brandon at the bar, always welcoming and remembers us), incredible food, and pleasurable dining experience. And the kitchen counter experience is not to be missed!
