   The visual ambiance of Seasons is very nice...airy and light with ample spacing between tables. As it filled up, it was kind of loud, but not uncomfortably so. The food was very good. Our party had the caesar salad, mixed green salad, potato prosciutto pizza, carrot curry croquette, pork chop and burger. The downside is it was very expensive...a not-so-generous glass of wine was 17. I'm kind of so/so on trying it again....

   Ambience is airy and smart, which encourages conversation. Not a romantic get away and cozy in that regard, but a fun dining experience because of the absolutely first rate staff and excellent food.

   I have had dinner here several times. I checked website before making reservation for updates to menu. Restaurant switched to pre fixe for valentine at $100 per person without notice. This was not advertised on their webpage. No prior notice on reservation booking website. I mentioned this to hostess. Hosted acknowledgment their website is not updated frequently. Poor business operation where restaurant isn’t transparent with its customers.

   An unfortunate part of the design is the patio seating door that when opened floods the dining room with cool air. Service was very okay and the food was just above par for the area. Overall I would go back but maybe not for a date night.

   Service was phenomenal. Food was delicious! A tad pricey but worth it for a special occasion. Loved that they had designated what options were vegan, dairy free and gluten free so I didn’t have to ask our server - very thoughtful.

    Due to the open nature of the dining area it was extremely loud. The quality and flavor of the food were very good. Presentation left something to be desired, one of the appetizers, the bruschetta, was made up of three pieces on a huge plate.....

    Had dinner with friends before a show at the Mondavi Center. Staff did a good job managing the rush of people dining before the show. Good good, drink and service.

    Our sever was not attentive. I had soup for an but no spoon for which I waited about 20 minutes. After we were served the entrée I sat waiting to order a glass of wine for about the same amount of time. I have gone to Seasons many times and this is not typical. But I want to be honest about this ...

    Service was disconnected. Took a long time to place drink and food orders and we had to grab various people to get that done. The food, however, was excellent. The wine list needs work—$14 dollars for a class of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc when I can get an entire bottle for less at Costco put me off from ordering any wine. Cocktails were great!

    This was our "go to" restaurant for date night, special occasions, visiitors and such. The prices have gone up considerably, which is fine as long as you get your money's worth. I'm not cheap and will spend for a great meal. However, the very skimpy salmon entree at $42 was ridiculous. It had been in the $30 range which was competitively priced. The $34 pork chop, with 2 small broccoli pieces, really had no flavor, and was actually raw and had to be sent back. An "on the house"appetizer was offered while I waited, which was nice, but I didn't get the chop back until other family members were nearly finished with their meal. However, the waitstaff are friendly , efficient and accommodating. This is an unfortunate turn of events for Seasons and it is now off my list of Davis restaurants to patronize.

    Pros-aesthtically pleasing, upbeat employees, creative menu, hearty portions Cons-slow service, pasta dish sauce was slightly off, burger came out luke warm. Lighting was a bit too bright.

    The overall dining experience is very nice. The food was good but not great. Some things were really tasty and other thing had flavors that were a little off. It's a decent option in Davis which doesn't have a lot of quality dinning options.

    We've noticed that carrot and sweet base are in most of your meals. We usually order the salmon and vegetables. But the salmon and the roasted vegetables we had last night were disappointing. We quite liked the sauce that the shrimp and the roasted vegetables were accompanied by a couple of weeks ago. But since then, it has changed back to the harissa last night and we were quite disappointed.

    The main problem was the length of time it took to get out appetizers, which took about 40 minutes to come out. The main courses took an additional 30 minutes. The restaurant was busy but not packed, it seemed they were understaffed. Perhaps most disappointing was the food was not hot, and the pasta portion was like a kids size, also, there weren’t a lot of check ins or updates. The appetizers were very good, amazing salads actually. The flavors were all good but again, small portions and not hot. Our server was apologetic and did take the drinks off the bill and also the desert and we appreciated this gesture. Normally I wouldn’t return after an experience like this but I do want to give the restaurant another chance. I feel we didn’t see them at their best.

    We went to celebrate a few birthdays. The service was slow and the food was pretty disappointing. Pasta was undercooked and not hot when it was served. The Caesar salads had no dressing. One person in our party ordered a Caesar with chicken and was surprised to find a fried chicken leg served in her salad. We had never seen a chicken Caesar served quite like that. The person who ordered the burger was happy with her burger and the person who ordered salmon said the salmon was good. No birthday dessert was offered. Unfortunately we won’t be going back.

    Last night 5 of us enjoyed a lovely evening at Season's - starting with tasty cocktails and some of their most delicious carrot risotto balls! We also found the peach, blackberry and burrata salad to be amazing, and one person got the gazpacho which was really really good. All of us found our entrees to be super tasty and we would especially recommend the lamb dish on their menu right now. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio, and we even needed the heaters, which they were happy to turn on for us. Overall I give the whole experience and dinner at Season's last night 5 stars. We are all looking forward to going back again in the near future.

    We were given a perfect table. The decor is inviting and comfortable. The menu was simple but great. Everything sounded wonderful. The short rib appetizer was generous and excellent. The margarita pizza was fresh and not over sauced. The apple bread pudding was tasty. We left happy and we’ll add this to our list to return.
