Delicious food, great service. Great date spot or small group.
Fantastic food. Thoughtful and unusual choices. Very much appreciate the intimate outdoor seating which is also so thoughtful at times like these. The serving staff did a great job at knowing and celebrating the menu. It says a lot that four fussy people didn’t leave food to waste. Quite a treat!
Excellent meal in a safe environment. The service was great and my wife and I enjoyed a very nice evening.
I love this spot. They've been great about COVID safety and set up, and the food is amazing.
Our first time back since the restaurant’s concept has changed. Our server was excellent and the ambiance inside was comfortable. Curtains around tables made the experience feel more intimate. However, unfortunately the food was not up to par. Solid mediocre snacks including fried plantains (would have benefitted from more salt or seasoning) and cheese puffs (cheesy but not puffy). Entrees were the most disappointing - the steak was fine but muddled by heavy sauces. Fingerling potatoes were not crisp and there were large onions bulbs that left you scratching your head why they were there. Adobo chicken was dry and over cooked, with a polenta cake that was soggy from the salad above and wilted greens from the side. Unfortunately, we will not be back.
Excellent halibut with complex flavors. The outdoor seating was warm on a cool day.
Nice place good service a bit pricey but understandable with the costs of doing biz in a pandemic
Cane here for a date night and it was great! Food was delicious and fancy!
We love Season to Taste! Paulina was a great waitress. The salmon was excellent, and the ambiance is hard to beat!
Great Birthday experience - superior meal!
Food was delicious! The outdoor cabanas could be a little more open at this point in the season. It was HOT even with the fans... and the breeze on the street might have helped. Though I could see in the winter they would have been a better option. Would highly recommend based on food and service, though beware, wine and beer only! No hard alcohol.
Delicious food and great service!
Salads and Entree were to die for. Outside dining is romantic and adorable. Don't know if it would be hot on a hot night. Indoors is cold, bring a sweater! -June2021
Phenomenal meal here on a beautiful Friday night! We ate in one of the outdoor cabanas and it felt very private. All the food was amazing, but we were particularly wowed by the Parisian gnocchi, glazed short ribs, and chocolate torte dessert.
This neighborhood restaurant turned out to be a stellar find. Everything was delicious and so beautifully served. We had a great dinner.
It was our first time at Season to Taste, although it had been on our wish list for years. Perhaps due to COVID, the restaurant had no vibe. We were in our own little pod- enclosed by heavy drapery. The service was ok, but not exceptional. Very little interaction, although our server was nice. It took a while enclosed in our booth room to be offered drinks. After that it was fine, although our food was delivered, and then the drapes closed. There was not explanation of the food presented to us. The server never checked on how our meals were. In fact, two came out first and there was a delay on the other two. Then the drape was closed until they came to clear the plates. Dessert was not interesting to us, and there was no fruit or nondairy option. We left without ordering dessert.
Excellent food lovely environment and staff .
Delicious, interesting, seasonal food. They take health precautions seriously, but the service is warm and knowledgable.
Very thoughtful service, including reaching out before our reservation to see if we wanted to move inside due to the unexpected cold, wet weather. Service was excellent - friendly without being cloying. Food was delicious! I had handmade pasta dish, and my friend had duck, and both were outstanding in flavor, freshness, and presentation. The wine list is interesting with several good choices in each price range and some unexpected surprises - orange wine! We will definitely return. Our only concern was that it is a little pricey, but that is forgiven in the aftermath of the pandemic.
Food was amazing! I would absolutely go back, the glazed pork ribs and burrata were to die for
Delightful! LIVED on their delivery throughout quarantine and it was SO good to have dinner at the restaurant. Great food & service.
We are long time fans of season to taste and pre-covid normally dine inside at the chefs table. We’ve gotten take out several times in the past year but This was our first time dining at the restaurant since covid and we opted for outdoors. Loved the outdoor experience!! Enclosed outdoor booth was amazing especially given the wind. Fan cooled us off and the music levels were great background noise for our party of 4. The food continues to be outstanding and we will return! Can’t wait to eventually get back indoors at the chef table with the wine pairing set course!
We sat outside, by choice. Awesome. Super service. Nice beer and wine selection. Awesome food. Had a super time.
Everything we ordered was excellent including the beet salad, burrata, gougeres, hangar steak and duck confit.
The food is amazing and reasonably priced. The halibut in coconut curry was really special
Great food and great service
Great spot. Excellent food!
This was our first visit to Season to Taste. In fairness, Covid precautions likely contributed to the underwhelming atmosphere. The food was delicious, though the portion sizes for the appetizers were a little overwhelming (a good problem to have, no doubt). The indoor "cabanas" felt like being in a large dressing room, with little ambience. Better lighting, non-fluorescent candles and flowers/greenery would help. Inattentive service was magnified by the already isolated environment. As one of our first dining experiences in over a year, it was disappointing and not worth it, despite good food. We probably won't go back.
Always wonderful cuisine. Imaginative and delicious.
We ate outside in a tent-like structure. It felt covid-safe, the food was delicious, and the meal was unhurried and delightful.
Fantastic, as always! Staff, ambience, food...all spectacular.
Amazing food, amazing service! Every bite was delicious, a lot of attention put into the vegetarian options!
Really liked the outdoor setup with individual huts for each table—felt very private and safe given COVID! Only drawback was the noise level of being right on Mass Ave, but delicious food, great service, and general comfort vastly outweighed that.
This was my first dining out experience since before lockdown/getting vaccinated, and it was great.
First time out to dinner since the pandemic. Sat outside in one of the cabanas. Excellent service and delicious food! Will go again soon!
It was great! One of the best meals i've had in the past year, highly reccomend
Highly recommend this unique restaurant! The wait staff was knowledgeable and lovely. Food is exceptional! Covid protected environment.
Fun night out!
Fantastic cuisine, nice outdoor booth for pandemic friendly eating. The halibut is sublime, the best that fish has ever tasted. The salmon was very good also. The burger is excellent as well. Starter ribs is a no-brainer. Bibb salad is so fresh and tasty it seems to have gone farm to table when we ordered. Service is fantastic and friendly - deserving of generous tipping. Carrot cake and chocolate tart desserts were marvelous. Nothing is perfect in this world: plantain starter is generously portioned but a bit bland even w/ the sage ranch dressing, coffee machine wasn't working on our second trip (we ran across the street and brought back Dunkin'...not sure it's kosher w/ the ownership but we needed coffee w/ the fine finale of desserts), and not a knock on this place but a friendly caveat to diners that a can of soda was 4 bucks. Bottom line: maybe the best meal in Cambridge and among the best in all Boston at a very reasonable price point - bon apetit!
The ambiance was interesting as the COVID procedure made each table have it's own room, it was odd to have the waitress have to peek in to see how we were doing. However she handled it very well, and was attentive while not being intrusive, which is usually tricky but very easy for now. The food was wonderful, I had ramps which were subtle and good, the rest of what we had was spectacular. A parsnip soup was also subtle but with just the right flavor (I love parsnips). The duck confit was the best version I ever have had, and the preparation was also delicious and complimented the duck perfectly. We had a Nebbiolo which was also delightful. We had a wonderful 2 hour dinner and will be returning.
