   Sear Steakhouse has just opened after remodeling the former "Shooters". It remains locally owned. The main footprint has not changed, but the new decor is beautiful! They have locally sourced many of the food products. We had 2 appetizers (Steak tips and a mushroom flatbread). Both were OUTSTANDING.....perhaps the best of any similar items I've had elsewhere. The steak was seasoned & cooked to perfection. Servers were prompt, knowledgeable and very friendly. Two suggestions: 1) The background music was loud and odd for the style of the restaurant. I'm told it was '80's rock....but I didn't recognize anything. Lively jazz or adult contemporary would seem a better fit. Truly, a minor item in the grand scheme of things....but just seemed out of place. Music was loud when we arrived, but later toned down so conversation was easy and uninterrupted. 2) Wine list is very limited. Only 1 Sauvignon Blanc which was good, but over-priced ($15 if you buy yourself......$42 on the menu). Lots of specialty cocktails, however.

   Steak was very average and poor for the price and expectation. Sides were tiny and big push to sell additions. Seems like the business model is to have high prices and small portions and sell more product. Nothing makes this restaurant stand out and can get the same at many competitors.

   Asked for medium rare on 3 ordered steaks and every single one came out medium well. They did ask to cut into steak to ensure proper temperature but didn’t bother sending them back as all of the steaks were way over done and it wasn’t worth it at that point, my confidence in their ability was shot.

   Amazing food, excellent service and incredible ambiance. I would highly recommend this location to everyone. Best flavor on a steak I have had in a long time you can tell they use locally sourced product and it is awesome.

   I usually have a burger first time.It was over cooked and very " off the truck", value was over priced and below average. Everyone else seemed satisfied, steak tip appetizer was fatty and gristle. Chef could do better with meal presentation, and portion size. My wife had the steak wedge, it was just o.k. remember that people eat first with their eyes.

   Excellent food and the server hit the perfect blend of professional and friendly. Not an "Every Day" sort of dining experience, due to the price, but wonderful for the special occasion.

   The waitress was very nice. This place has not been open long so I assume people are in training. I was not happy when the server pulled out the table from the booth behind us to sweep the carpet with a broom while we were eating along with another waitress who passed our table carrying glasses clutched to your chest - use a tray please! The atmosphere is trying to be upscale so the service must reflect that. In the end we were asked if we wanted desserts, we said possibly. What is available. We were then pointed to pick up our cocktail menu and the desserts are listed there. Might of been nice to have the waitperson tell us about them. We might of ordered one then. I blame management for not properly training the staff. I never saw a manger unless its as the person with a black t shirt and black jeans. If so, the waitstaff was dressed up more than the manager. I would go back to give them another chance. It takes time to work out kinks but training is everything. Also it would be nice to have proper cocktail glassware. My manhattan came in a rocks glass. If on ice, okay but not for a drink that is served up and in the atmosphere they are trying to create which is upscale.

    Service was outstanding raven was A+ Definitely a bit disappointed in the quality and amount of food for the price that was paid I had more garnish than scallop. I understand wanting to cater to fancy and higher end but shooters was a absolute staple in these hills. for them to still have three giant TV screens over a sports bar vibe and try to sell me $20 worth of scallops that weighed no more than 2 ounces seems a bit excessive. And the wings,,, omg. Really. Poor execution.

    Enjoyed the scallops appetizer, very nice. Not a good cut of fillet, probably an end piece. I'll be trying it again to see how it goes.

    Great waiters and staff! Very friendly and clever! The food was great but I would’ve liked more options. Steaks are great! (Wouldn’t recommend the ravioli def amateur mistake.)
