Sean Ryan Pub
Shepherds pie was good. Corned beef dinner was too thinly sliced like for a sandwich. Good Irish beers at a good price
We chose Sean Ryan Pub for our Thanksgiving dinner with family. Great food and service. This was our first visit....and we can’t wait to get back! Highly recommended.
Excellent food and service! Nice restaurant and Pub!
Picked it because the menu sounded authentic. Arrived in our masks (it is a pandemic!) but few others had them. The food sounded far better than it tasted. The scallops and risotto my husband had were so overcooked you could’ve bounced them like a ball. And for $22 there were only 4 Small sea scallops. The risotto had a nice flavor but was quite gummy. My grilled cheese with short ribs and horseradish sauce was missing the sauce and the short rib meat was terribly dry. We also ordered the potato skins special appetizer, which came with 3 small skins for $9. Really, the prices of the food rare absurdly high given the quantity and quality. Disappointing for sure.
Great meal, great service
A great local place to eat and drink in downtown Vero Beach near the county courthouse. Ate at the bar and got attentive service. Probably should expand its wine selection for wine drinkers like me. Would certainly return for food and drinks!
We looked on Open Table for a casual place to have dinner in Vero Beach. Since Sean Ryan’s Pub had such terrific ratings, we decided to give it a try. At first, I thought we had the wrong place as the initial impression is that of a sports bar. However, we were greeted warmly and were asked if we wanted a quieter booth along the far wall which we opted for. Our waitress was prompt and attentive and before we knew it we had our drinks and food. This is Irish comfort food at its best. Nothing fancy, but delicious, fresh salads and meat and potatoes type Irish favorites. Just what we wanted! We had the house salad, mac n cheese with short ribs, the skillet rueben, and a shepherds pie. All were plentiful and delicious! We will be back!
A nice "find" in Vero Beach. A nice selection of well prepared menu items and excellent service. We will be regulars.
We plan on returning with guests for trivia night!!
The food here is consistently good. The servers are excelllent. We love Tuesday Trivia.
Sean Ryan Pub was great! The food was good, the beer was cold, and the service was attentive. There was a singer performing, but she was not all that loud. We were checked on by both an apparent manager and possibly the owner. I would definitely recommend Sean Ryan especially on a busy vero Friday.
We never made it past the appetizer menu to order an entree, but we did have five appetizers and they were all incredible! Delicious food, great service, great atmosphere.
It was our first visit and we enjoyed it very much. The reuben is the best we've had in a long time and the fish & chips were great too. We will definitely be back.
Nice, clean, attractive atmosphere. A wide variety of food for very reasonable prices. The service was great and the food was absolutely delicious!
We went to Sean Ryans for my birthday. The Fish and Chips were amazing, as was the Bread Pudding.
We have already said we will be going back soon.
Wonderfull experience. Great service, food and drinks. The home made dessert and low noise live music were the cherries on the cake.
5 of us enjoyed refreshing brews and cocktails while lively conversation ensued. Meal orders were taken by our attentive server who brought our appetizer without a hiccup. Entrees were served exactly as ordered and as tasty as promised. We will return in the future for another most enjoyable evening of drinks and vittles.....
Food is normally very good, service was excellent, in particular from Server Victoria.
I would recommend to a person who really likes Irish fare. Plus the onion rings and the Rubens are excellent.
Very empty on a rainy night, waiter a bit dull, fast service though, Corned Beef seemed shaved rather than sliced. Fish and Chips good, nice portions.
The pub is fairly large inside with tables and booths surrounding the bar. When we arrived the pub was about 1/2 full, there were many tables in the front portion of the pub. The hostess sat our party of 4 in a section of the pub where a large party of about 12-15 raucous customer was seated. This large party was very loud, we could hardly carry on a conversation at our small table for 4.
The food was great as usual and we had a good time. Maybe it was our fault for not asking to be set elsewhere.
I think the need for reservations made it seem like the place would be a little more exciting with traditional or quality Irish fare.
Food was typical bar food, noise level was ridiculous with bingo night.
Not worth a drive from PSL if hanging out downtown vero then possibly worth the stop.
The Guinness was excellent, but the food was lacking. I had fish and chips the fish was cod and had a good tast, but it was dripping with grease, which indicated to me the grease was not hot enough when they put the fish in and they did not allow time for the grease to drip off. My wife had prime rib, but sent it back because it was loaded with fat and not medium rare.
Very dark in the place. I would recommend more lighting.
All 3 of us had burgers. My wife loved her lamb burger. Chef Mike came out for a very friendly visit and checked back to ensure we enjoyed our diners. My burger with short rib meat was very good. Will be back. Chef Mike said he is working on making some changes and/or adding specials. The lamb burger was a special for the night.
We were treating our friends to a meal at a place that was new to them.
Brandon, our server, started the experience off in the right direction.
Everyone ordered different meals. Each was enjoyed for flavors, freshness and brought out promptly by Brandon.
BINGO did not interfere with evening.
This is the 4th time we have been there.
We will return for sure.
The food was excellent! Highly recommend the beer cheese and pretzel appetizer. The live music was Great. Can’t wait for Wednesday night bingo.
Someone from the restaurant called me two days before St. Patrick’s Day and told me my reservation could not be honored due to the party of 12 very poor management we had to scramble to find somewhere else to go and ended up going nowhere
No I’d had a reservation with them and they canceled last minute
Found myself scrambling last minute to find other accommodations
The Pub is nice but they didn't have a table for us when we arrived even though we had a confirmed reservation. But, they found a place for us.
The prime rib was fabulous, unbelievable at $19.90!! We will definitely return!!!
The Irish Nachos were excellent...The Prime Rib was tough and stringy and certainly not worth the price.
Waitress Stella was great owner came over and served us. Aunt and Uncle from Maryland had come for visit lovely time for lunch. Uncle is Irish had wonderful time.
The cornbread was a disappointment, VERY CHEWY....First time I went it was great. ..I don't know what happened???
My wife and another couple enjoyrd our visit. The pretzels with Guiness cheese dip were great (go ahead and add 4 extra prtzels for a few bucks) as were the entrees. Beer prices were good and the staff were friendly. Overall great time.
Great food, highly recommended by locals. Chef stopped by to chat. Good beer selection.
Pub was clearly understaffed. Servers were hustling. There just weren’t enough of them. Everything else was fine.
Party of 5. The food was good the service was a bit slow. The noise level was moderate but tolerable [until the live music started]. If you want to talk, get a table in the back room.
All though the food, I had the short ribs, was well presented and tasty, the portion size was pretty small, I was disapointed, hence my mediocre review. Others at my table seemed to have decent portions.
Went to Sean Ryan Pub for a birthday celebration, we were not disappointed. The food is excellent and the drinks are plentiful. We enjoyed every aspect of our dining experience, we even met the owner. I will be going back again and again! A great place to celebrate, they even have bingo.
