The Story Behind Mr. Seas
In the 1930s, a lively group of Delray Beach writers gathered here for weekly sessions of food, drinks, and lively conversation — their secret to success. Now, we invite you to dine at their favorite spot, Mr. Seas.

Mr. Seas is open for lunch and dinner daily for our members, hotel guests and the public. For outside public, we are open for dining only and not full use of the associated amenities.

Our spectacular ocean views, outstanding food, and superior service make for truly memorable meals.

Uninspiring menu. Most of the items weren't cooked right: salmon, tempura shrimp, potatoes. The cauliflower steak was great. Good drink menu. Lots of areas for improvement.

From the moment that I arrived everyone was very friendly, polite and accommodating . The food was perfect. "Andy" from Valet, the bartender "Rita" was friendly and made a great drink and the Waiter was also friendly and very accommodating. Ir was wonderful sitting by the ocean in a beautiful relaxed atmosphere.

The service and ambiance where fabulous, my lamb chops where on the other hand dry and hard as well as over cooked, if this outstanding venue after such an investment could get the food quality up it will be amazing but this is just not happening. I wish the flies and mosquitoes had stayed away but I will eat inside next time.

The female receptionist @ noon time on Saturday 5/24/25 ( wished I remember her name ) was extremely rude and made the whole experience awful . They say first impression lasts. I booked my reservation @1 pm via OpenTable. Since it’s Memorial Day weekend, she said that they’re closed to the public which I have no way of knowing since the app obviously allowed me to. I have respectfully explained that it wasn’t my fault and I’d rather just stay in for lunch than look for another restaurant. She didn’t listen and looked at me as if I am causing an inconvenience to the restaurant and the hotel. She even asked me to show her the app itself which happened to be booked 18x that same day. The manager has accomodated us in the end , but this receptionist has no remorse over her actions and constantly glanced at our table as if it was a game she played. I honestly believe that people at this business can ruin the experience. Why would I even consider staying and giving business to this hotel if they choose to have an employee like her as a receptionist? She should have chosen to be somewhere else , maybe work in a storeroom where she didn’t have to interact with people . The sad part is , from the outside , she has a pleasant face but once she speaks to guests , she turns out to have an awful attitude as if she owned the whole place . The bartender and our server ( Rita and Romaine) on the other hand offered the exact opposite. They’re wonderful human beings who want nothing but to give you the best experience of the restaurant!

We were a party of 8 outside on a beautiful evening. Service was good and timing was well paced. Food was also good and no complaints from any of our group. The Caesar salad is always good and the jumbo lump crab really is lump crab and not minced like we sometimes find in other places. Truffle fries, perfect.

We had a great time, I wrote low on noise level as children where running all over the place, food was good sad to see the general tsp’s children nuggets as and replaced with wings as I wouldn’t order the wings at dinner and get all messy. But the service was good I would like to see a bigger menu selection. But all in all it was a good evening

This Club improves every week. Service is very good. Waiters attentive. Food choices could be better, but food quality pretty good. Overall 6/10.
