Seagar's brings traditional elegance back to the fine-dining experience, complete with private dining options, captain service, sommelier service and tableside preparation of items that include steak Diane, Dover sole and its signature bananas foster.
Seagar's also features a private-reserve wine list of more than 600 wine labels. The lounge offers guests full dining service and live piano entertainment.
Dress code is Sophisticated Casual. Gentlemen are asked to wear collared shirts, long pants and closed toe shoes. Jackets not required but appreciated. No beachwear, athletic wear or casual attire including hats and flip-flops.

Our first time and it was my mother’s birthday. They put us in a wine room that was very exclusive. Fantastic food and service. Great value on the wine list. I had the surf and turf and my steaks was very juicy and tasty for a fillet. The lobster was a half Maine lobster with claw meat, cooked perfectly. The creamed corn is phenomenal. We will return.
The entrees were very good but the side dishes didn’t have much flavor. It was also very expensive for what you got—2.5 lb lobster was $120.
Overall a very good time but will be some time before we return again.
Absolutely the best experience. Our waiter, David had excellent suggestions, was very attentive and the food was unremarkable. We we very pleased with every aspect from beginning to end.

Beautiful atmosphere. Entrees were excellent. Twice baked potato was very dry and bland. Dover sole was very good. We felt very rushed the whole time by our server. Wanted to have our salad and think about the main course but were told we couldn’t do that as our whole order had to be submitted at once. So we had to rush. Spoiled the whole evening. Servers seemed constantly in a hurry for us to finish.
As usual, our dinner was great! The service is always impeccable!

It appears that the pandemic / unemployment payments has caused significant staffing shortages. The service was not up to the standards that we have experienced and expected for many years.
Amazing food and atmosphere. Service was exceptional and we will definitely be back anytime we are in the Miramar beach area. Expensive dinner but worth every penny.
We arrived on time and had asked for a booth ahead of time. This was missed and they made us wait 1/2 hour in the bar. After spending 50 dollars for 2 drinks the hostess came to get us. She then proceeded to take us to a table AGAIN. We then had to go back to the bar fir another 20 minutes to finally get our requested (in advance) booth. We were then pretty much ignored and had to ask for Bread (which consisted of 2 small dinner rolls) like you buy at Walmart.
Probably won’t be that anxious to drop 289.00 again for this experience.

The food was great the service was good but the food took forever to get it. I think we didn’t get the appetizer and salad till after 30 minutes of placing the order and then it was another 30 minutes before our entrees hit the table.
It was almost 945pm when we got our steaks and out reservation was at 830
Celebrating moms 60th birthday. Lamb chops were amazing. Make sure you get a love bird cocktail.
We go every year and this year was not the same. We got our main dishes but none of our sides were cooked and just simply left off. Disappointed

Our first time celebrating our 28th Wedding Anniversary. The wait staff was amazing. Thank you Benson and Chase for making our evening extra special. The food was to die for. A must visit and come with an appetite.
Excellent meal. Excellent service. Unfortunately, the wedding party that was seated next to us was so loud- that we were promptly moved. They had bad manners and did not adhere to the dress code- but not a thing the staff could do but do exactly what they did- provide outstanding service to our group.
Had reservations at 8:15 and finally got bread a few min before 9:00.
Waiters nice but will not go back and hate it because very convenient to where we live.

Had my birthday dinner at Seagar's with my husband. This time instead of the delicious steaks, I had the twin South African lobster tails. They were delicious. My husband had the 8 oz filet and said it was tender and prepared exactly as he ordered. They gifted me the most wonderful chocolate souffle with vanilla cream which we shared and still could not finish.
Me and my wife went here on our honeymoon. First time eating here and I will see it was an amazing experience! Definitely recommend it to anyone!
Spectacular service, delicious food. We sat near the piano and Bobby was amazing.

Sat down for promising night. Scott waiter, Sean his assistant. Cocktails good. Table side Caesar by Sean excellent, onion soup excellent. We shared fried lobster tail excellent and 2 inch thick 12 oz filet with baked potato. Steak done medium but served placed on a wooden cutting board for presentation. The board was cold and this started to cool the steak. Our plates were warmed up and steak should have been resting on a warm board or serving plate. Steak was chalky and dry...guessing at 2 inches thick it was cooked too long and slow and dried it out! The baked potato was room temp and sent back as soon as all food arrived. You would think they would grab another potato or another starch quickly so we could enjoy the meal but...nothing! No one ever came back nor did Scott come and check on us if food was okay and we couldn't find anyone so we partially ate our dry steak, delicious lobster tail and no starch! We even skipped bread so we could save room for table side bananas foster...which we now skipped as we wanted to leave. Once someone showed up, Sean, over came manager, Paul, and apologized. It was too late. Dinner experience ruined. We paid for apps and liquor, no tip and left the Steak behind!
Don't know how Seagar's survived this long. Must be bankrolled by hilton bc the only other time we went, about 15 or 20 yrs ago, also not good. Save your dough and go elsewhere. There are way too many good restaurants around here to waste your time here! However, thanks paul!
We have lived in the area for several years and finally decided to try Segar's for our anniversary dinner and we are so happy that we did. This is a first class restaurant in every way! Old world charm and excellent service. I loved everything about this restaurant and it reminded me of fine dining experiences I have had worldwide. There is soft piano music playing, candles on the tables, and intimate curved booths for two. The service team is so attentive and they treat you like royalty. We especially enjoyed our water Sean that was from South Africa. We were out to linger and enjoy the evening and they did not rush us through our courses. The food was delicious, especially the pork belly appetizer! I had the Dover Sole filleted tableside and it melted in my mouth as well as my husbands bone-in Ribeye steak. The wine list and cocktail list is very impressive. Although our anniversary dinner was a splurge we will definitely return.
Awesome birthday dinner
Staff was friendly but would have been nice to have one primary server checking on things throughout the meal. Steak was overcooked (ordered rare, cooked medium.) Expected more for the price.
We were able to sit in the wine room and had an exceptional time. It was so much fun and our guests loved dining in there with us. The extra attention that we received was above and beyond fabulous. The food, drinks everything was awesome.
My wife got a fillet and I got the fillet with a bone in it. Both were fantastic. The shared sides were also very good, and they are very big! Even the half portions of the shared signs are plenty! The service is fantastic, we wanted for nothing, But they weren’t intrusive either. They are very well trained! We would definitely go back there again!
The service, ambiance and food at Seagar's last night was fantastic. My husband had the Dover Sole and I had the Blackened Grouper...both were more than wonderful. The New York style cheesecake lived up to the name...the best we have ever had except maybe in New York City proper. Sam, one of the manager's, was exceptionally attentive...every restaurant should have manager's like her.
My wife and I have been coming here for our anniversary since 2015. Seagar's never disappoints with its professional service, outstanding food, and classic ambiance. We highly recommend.
