   We had great food, but the service needed improving. We ordered our food and I immediately asked him if we could have some bread, while waiting, and he said yes. We saw him talking to another table forever, while waiting for our bread. Finally after about 20 minutes, we called him over and asked him for some bread, again, and he said he was sorry. Our food meanwhile, had been brought out from the back, and sat on the tray waiting for our server, to serve us. I said”I bet that is our food sitting over there” it sure was. Then when we were finished we told him we wanted dessert, and he brought us a menu to look at, and never came back to take our order. We had to go get the manager, after my sister asked where our server went? He disappeared. We had been waiting and waiting. Finally the manager took our order and said someone would bring it out. We found out he had gotten off work. He did not bother to tell us. Food was great! Service not! We have always had great service in the past.

   The food was delicious. The staff is very courteous and attentive. My husband and I each had a salad which was fresh and delicious. My husband had a salmon dish which he enjoyed. I had the Pecan-glazed pork chop which I loved. We didn’t have room for dessert. The ambience was really nice. We had a view of the beach. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

   Enjoyed our meal, and the service was outstanding. Only negative is that the corkage fees have been increased again; it seems to be excessive compared to other restaurants we dine at.

   I've lived in Florida for almost 8 years now and this is one of the best meals that I've had in a long time. The Seafood Pappardelle Pasta was a large portion and great seafood variety. The porkchop in a honey glaze marinade was delicious and tender. The service was terrific !

   My party of four was very happy with our first experience at this restaurant. My top accolades would be reserved first and foremost for our waitress Jennifer (who was professionally flawless), secondarily with the overall quality of the food and lastly with the overall ambience of the setting (including the facility itself and the polite young blonde female who greeted us at reception). One member of our party thought that the scallops had a texture that indicated frozen/thawed/prepped/served, but I am comfortable enough with modern restaurant supply chains to where everything on my lobster/shrimp/scallops "sampler" could have been frozen and I would have no complaint. It was good! Two bowls of the lobster bisque received unremarkable reviews from those who ordered it. This was my first experience at Sea Watch. I will be back. Recommended! My qualifications to review: 16 years in food & beverage including 9 years at a Mobil 5-star rated resort.

    Been coming here since the early 80s. It's a solid Fort Lauderdale ICON. Drinks are excellent and not expensive. It's the only place I don't mind waiting for a table because the upstairs bar is a great place to start and you can sit on the balcony outside on the oceanside and have apps and drinks. The menu, however, needs to be updated. The selection is getting tired and the food quality is average. The clam chowder was so thick with cornstarch that the spoon could stand up in it. The entrees are ok but not creative, new or refreshed. It's like there is a cook there not a chef. The sauces are not good. Dill beure blanc (white wine/butter) was overthickened and had a burnt taste. The salsa verde for a side sauce to a blackened mahi was disjointed. The seasonal vegg were undercooked and underseasoned. You are crowded because it's on the beach and it's a beautiful place, not because the food is great.
