Such a great date spot!
Had a wonderful family dinner at this little intimate Italian spot!
Delicious food and great service!
Amazing! Tastes just like food from Napoli! The service was impeccable. The wine was divine.
The food was not good but, the service was so poor that it overrode the sticky al dente pasta, the boring sauces, and tasteless fillings in the ravioli. We got our appetizers before our mimosas. They hadn’t taken our entree order yet so we’re juggling menus trying to find room on the table for plates and dishes. When the entrees arrived the waiter would not take our empty dishes. So, we’re juggling dishes to make room for more while the waiter walked away empty handed saying it was someone else’s job to clear plates. The bill was too much for the food and service. Five of us will never eat there again and we will all tell our friends and families to avoid Suderie Italia.
Pasta was undercooked (not al dente), food was bland, and service was slow. I give it 3 stars because 2 out of the 4 dishes were fine and they’re a family business it could have been an off night
They make their own pasta. Great. Problem is that the pasta was not cooked correctly. Pasta should be done al dente; their pasta was not. It was so overcooked that it bordered on mushy. Also, the carbonara bordered on cloying - overly cheese and oily - such that the pasta clung together in a mass.
I have eaten at thousands of Italian restaurants all over the world. This one is in my top 5 most delicious. The pasta was perfect, the chicken was amazing. Everything they touched was gold.
I highly recommend it.
The food was great. The rabbit polenta and goat gnocchi were absolutely delicious
The dinner was rather lovely and the place was nice. The food was also very good and was ready a lot sooner than what I was expecting. I had the pizza Carne and it was delicious while my sister had a pasta with mushrooms. I’d most likely get food from the restaurant another time but I would make sure to find a place to park than near the entrance.
The food was good! For the price point I thought there would be a bit more. Two out of four orders came out wrong, but they took one back and fixed it.
Excellent restaurant for dinner! Always delicious specials that are outstanding!
Margherita pizza was excellent.
Service was great!
This restaurant was amazing. The manager,Emanuale, took care o lf us. The pizza appetizer with mushrooms was so good. We had salmon , pasta and salads. Everything we fresh. We hd two bottles if wine and dessert.
We loved our evening at Scuderie. Manny, our waiter (who's true name I would butcher if I attempted) was lovely. We chose outdoor seating so the surrounding noise level was loud but that is to be expected in outdoor seating on a Saturday night. The food was good. I found my ravioli a little bland. However we did recommend it to another guest we had been visiting with at our hotel.
What a fabulous find! Every dish was top-notch. This place came recommended by several friends, and we are so glad to have found this place. We will become regulars here!
Most of the meals were great. Service was on top of everything. I think a few plants in front if possible could curb the street noise level and soften the ambiance. I will be back.
Birthday dinners was very special. Nice of the owner Leonardo to stop by our table. You will love this restaurant. Pizza and sea bass were excellent.
When you walk into an Italian restaurant and the people sitting next to you are speaking Italian, it is a GREAT sign. The food was amazing. The service was stellar. Definitely worth another visit! or two or three... Our new go-to Italian without having to go all the way downtown...
Eating at Scuderie Italia is like eating in a small Italian trattoria. Service was quick, efficient and courteous. The food was authentic Italian. I am not a big pasta fan but I have to admit that I liked the linguine. I would come back to this place. Only drawback is the lack of parking but nearby is a strip mall with a Trader Joe's and Petsmart and it was only a 2 minute walk from there.
My husband and I wanted to try something new so we found ourselves at the Scuderie Italia restaurant. What a fun atmosphere and great surprise for my sports car buff to enjoy the surroundings and excellent food. We had the prosciutto burrata to start and it was amazing. The eggplant parmigiana was like layers of mouthwatering goodness. Lots of seafood over saucy risotto felt light and satisfying. We could actually taste some faint espresso flavor to the tiramisu. A very enjoyable experience we had and looking forward to our next visit!
Wonderful food, authentic, tasty and paired with wonderful service.
We enjoy going to Scuderie Italia and checking out their special menu. There's so many delicious choices and we are never disappointed. Service is above and beyond attentive. They're happy to share fav selections. Love how open the seating is. Can't wait til our next visit.
Great food, great staff. The gnocchi della casa was soooo good! Like yummy, soft pillows!
Congratulations on you new your new endeavor in Pacific. beach. Stunning food, fabulous service .
We really enjoyed our dinner at Scuderie Italia. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. I live nearby and will return soon.
4 stars for ambiance, comfortable seating, heaters on the patio. The food however left much to be desired.
My carbonara resembled ramen noodles, my husbands risotto resembled rice soup.
The winner of the night was our sons Carne pizza which was tasty and well done.
Due to covid, the “dining room” is on the front patio. They have put up fences and lighted tent roof, but the street can still be heard. My wife has the seafood risotto and I had the new lamb risotto. Both were tasty and well prepared and presented. I opted for the cheesecake for dessert and it was excellent topped with a mix of berries in a blueberry compote. The service was helpful, attentive, and not intrusive. Overall a very pleasant meal.
The pastas were great and large portions, plenty for another meal.
Food wasn’t great, music was really loud and server was not helpful on recommendations after both myself and my dates first drink choice was not available
Long wait with reservation. Confused waitstaff. Pizza undercooked. Pasta cold yet over cooked with warm sauce. Also swimming in sauce making it soupy. Was surprised this came from Landini. Not worth going back.
We went here on Valentine’s Day they were super understaffed. The couple next to us told us the food was amazing but took 2 hours to get their food. We had waited 30 minutes to be seated despite having a reservation, and once seated we then sat there for an additional 45 minutes but the waiter never arrived and nobody had asked if they could get us drinks so we left. Very disappointing
This pains me to have to write this review during these times but I have to- went here for Valentine’s Day, had a reservation and got right in. Right off the bat our waiter came up to us to talk to us about the menu, and we had bread at our table. Everything was great to start, and the ambiance was great. However, that was the highlight of the night. After asking for a few more minutes to order, about 30-35 minutes went by before we are actually able to order again. When we finally were able to, ordered from the pre-picked holiday menu, and we also got a bottle of wine and a side/appetizer from the regular menu. At this point we were pretty hungry since it took so long to order, but we ate the bread and asked for a little more. About 40 minutes goes by and we don’t have our wine. We even asked the waiter AGAIN for bread and if we could please have our wine bottle. Another 25 minutes and we finally get the wine, but no bread. We asked another person for bread that passed our table and he said no problem. Didn’t come. It wasn’t until the man bussing tables (Pedro) came by that we asked a 4th time and HE finally brought us the bread and essentially became our waiter. I just want to give him a shout out because he was amazing and trying his best to run around and do what he could do. I know our waiter and everyone else was too, so it wasn’t for lack of effort... if anything I would blame management for the complete lack of preparation being open. Long story short, we finally got our meals over 2 hours into the reservation- AFTER our waiter came up to us and asked if we were waiting for food - WHAT? After asking another 3 times for our appetizer that never came as well, we waited as long as we could before throwing down some cash we had and leaving without waiting for desert. Almost 3 hours in, we left because it wasn’t worth waiting another hour and a half for the rest of the meal. Many others also left around us. The Food was amazing, but the service was a disaster.
Very nice restaurant - busy but not too bad for Valentine’s Day
Waiter Francesco was very atentive
Food was good, not excellent
Ambiance was very nice, not too noisy
I would definitely return
The pizza was exactly like the ones I have had in Naples, Italy!! Authentic!
This place was so good. Authentic italian food, everything is made in house. The bread and pizza dough were incredible. We went on valentines day and it was so busy which I was stoked to see. The owner came out and helped us with our check at the end as our server was super busy. He was so kind, funny, and genuine. We will definitely be back!
Food was delicious, service was excellent!
The music was club dance music, way too loud for my date and I to talk. I ordered the Gnocchi, it tasted like they bought it from Trader Joe’s and warmed it up, my date ordered the clams which tasted like clam juice from a can. Very disappointed because it was not worth the money or time.
Went in for friends gathering. The ambience was lively and cozy. There space heaters so we weren’t cold eating outside. The food is delicious! The butternut squash gnocchi was so soft & fluffy! The eggplant ravioli was hearty and very savory. We also got a side of broccolini that was flavorful also.
The food was very good
