I was very excited to try the halibut fish cheeks...but was disappointed. They’re supposed to be tender. I had to cut them with my knife. They were also very flavorless. We brought gift cards that weren’t connected to Scott’s. The manager was nice enough to discount our bill by 10%.
The food was very good and the ambiance is always terrific. The problem was the service. We had long wait times before the waiter appeared at our table. Very disappointed in the level of service for the price we paid.
Ambiance was great, food was delicious. We celebrated my mom’s birthday. When they brought a cup cake for her, live music play happy birthday song. It was very nice and unique.
Waiter forgot to bring butter for bread despite requesting for butter several, didn't pay attention to us as expected. Seems like he was thing about something else. Soup not warm enough to our liking.
Why did I rate "Overall" only 3 stars...?
We were sat for our reservation immediately, but sat at table awaiting a server to acknowledge us for
AT LEAST 15 minutes. No server, no busser -- nada.
Finally a server named JACKIE...who was about to be cut - noticed my frown & body language and approached us.
She did not know who's station (apparently no one did) we were in .........….so she jumped in and took over the table and after that we were in her capable hands and got the service and delish meal we are accustomed to at Scotts.
I was about to leave and go to the Yacht Club but Jackie saved the table.
She should be commended.
Great food, service and atmosphere
Great experience for my father's 90th birthday celebration. We were in a semi-private room, perfect for our group while remaining in sight of the rest of the dining room. Attentive service and fine value.
I enjoy dinners at Scotts . It's one of my favorite restaurants especially for special occassions.
Very nice anniversary dinner. Food delicious, but a bit pricey. Gave me a red rose, took our picture and returned it with a frame compliments of Scott’s. A very nice touch!
We were celebrating a birthday. They didn’t come and take pictures like they usually do😐
Dinner was fantastic otherwise 👍
Everything at Scott's is first class...food, service & ambience. We eat seafood quite often. The fish here is by far the best and freshest. The waiter was friendly and not too intrusive. It was a busy Saturday night, but is still wasn't loud like many other restaurants. We can always count on Scott's to have an exceptional dining experience.
The food and ambience at Scott’s is always dependably good. They area great value with good food portions and well prepared food.
We took our granddaughter for her 13th Birthday celebration. Our waiter (sorry don’t remember his name) was gracious and included Kayley in everything. He brought her a dessert, a red rose and a photo to remember the day.
On our way home I remembered her mom and I had lunch with her when she was a baby!
Thanks so much.
I always want to like this place since i like their ambiance and menu. However the food always seems to take forever yet taste and looks like its been sitting out. For the price, its just not worth it. They also need to work on their veggie options. Green beans and spinach for this price?
Scotts has become an "old line" restaurant with tuxedoed waiters and piano bar. It's also pricey but portions are very large. Since most of it's seafood, take home isn't much of an option. Even the salad was hard to finish. The food was very well prepared. Our waiter was efficient but he had such a heavy accent it was virtually impossible to understand what he was saying. Disappointed that there was no "happy birthday" on the piano or photo which they offer and which I had pre-ordered on Open Table reservation and called in the day before. Both of us were celebrating birthdays.
Sunday Brunch to celebrate one of our dearest friends birthday, all of the Girl Friends gathered and had a wonder time. Our waiter was attentive, charming and delightful without hovering or intruding. He made sure that her Birthday celebration was a success. It was a bit pricey, but worth it. We had a fabulous time and it is a Do Over.
Very nice experience, as always. My guests loved the four salmon variations, shrimp, and crab. The crab Benedict got raves. I think that the food alone makes this one of the best brunch deals in the area.
The music was good, and the sound overall was low enough that we could all converse easily.
The price is in line with the value of the food and service, higher than other brunches, but worth it for a special occasion.
Was great experience. Did everything I requested for. Definitely coming back
Amazing 40th Birthday with my sisters.
Our waiter was very good at recommending great food choices. He was very attentive too.
The food good, dessert delicious and location perfect to go to Lesher Theater after dinner.
Food and ambiance are great, but the prices are unreasonably high.
Food was mediocre and expensive.
Came for the Valentine’s Day menu and was told they weren’t offering it that day even though their website said they were offering the menu Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Would not recommend for Brunch. $70 per person not worth it. Should be $50-$55. Service was slow once we sat down. Food was good, this was not my first time here for Brunch. Did not meet my expectations. free validated parking which was good.
Swordfish was very under cooked
Service by Jamie at Walnut Creek restaurant was outstanding.
Food was good, Service was good. Would go back. x
The server was very nice and knowledgeable. Will return soon.
Valentine’s Day. We were seated on time. However, our food was not delivered to the table for about one hour after ordering. My wife and daughters pasta dish was deemed “plain” and as a result unfinished and not taken home in a “to go” box. My 8 ounce steak did not seem like 8 ounces. The manager did comp us a pasta meal due to the long wait. Overall, I was not impressed and chalked it up to it being a very busy Valentine’s Day.
Went in on Valentine’s Day, with a party of 6. Food took about 2 hours to come to the table. 1 of our Lobsters were undercooked, 1 of our filet was supposed to be med well came out looking like med rare. Service was good.
We weren’t seated until 8:45 our reservation was at 8:30. Then the food never came. The waiter kept lying to the table about the food being on its way. The kitchen was completely chaotic and lost the tickets for each table. After being their for 2 hours the manager never came over their to explain what happened or took place. And did not offer us anything as compensation for ruining our night. If they don’t fire the head chef they are going to lose more business. I will not go back there.
Took too long to get check
It was Valentine’s Day and this place only can handle one bottle of wine during two our wait on the table after which we gave up to wait for our meal.
It was nice ,Food was good!
we were not told we would be piled i to a nanquet room with a bunch of other couples. it did not feel like it was scotts. service very slow. very slow. harp player was good food was ok but not worth it. they should have told us where we would be sitting
Scott’s was oversold for Valentines Day and neither their kitchen or staff were equipped to handle the workload. 20 minutes at the table before we saw a staff member, 45 minutes until we actually got drinks. Waitstaff never checked in or asked if we wanted another round. 1 fish came out with undercooked (raw) fish and another was cooked beyond edible. Was so disappointed in our experience.
We enjoyed the atmosphere and our server but the food quality isn't what it used to be and did not match the pricing.
Scotts is usually my favorite restaurant. I won't go again on a holiday special menu day. We were seated promptly, but no wait person came by to take drink orders for 30 minutes. I had to flag down a bus boy. I think our table was between two sections so no one had us. We ordered the special. The wine was good as well as the salad. The bus boy took my husbands empty salad plate and purposely tipped it to allow the salad fork to drop to the table. Perhaps he thought it would be needed along with the regular fork. (I'm again guessing he was new for the occasion.) I ordered my fillet medium and it was well done. I overheard another table with the same issue. Then we waited another half hour for the dessert which was not worth the wait, though pretty. Vanilla ice cream with berries would have been much better. The entire dining experience took 2 hours. Not happy. I doubt I'll get my husband to come the distance again.
