We recently had dinner here and while the service was friendly and accommodating, the food was a bit underwhelming overall. We ordered the chicken Parmesan, a Bolognese pasta dish, and the fried chicken. Unfortunately, the chicken Parmesan was overcooked — the thinner portions of the chicken were especially dry, which made the dish tough to enjoy. The Bolognese was just okay. The sauce had a unique twist to it that didn’t quite align with the more traditional versions I’m used to — not necessarily bad, just not what I expected. The fried chicken dish was the biggest surprise. I had looked up photos beforehand, and what we received looked nothing like the pictures. It arrived as a few pieces of fried chicken laid on top of a mountain of corn, with some mashed potatoes hidden underneath. The thinner chicken pieces were over-breaded and dry, which made the dish feel unbalanced. I started the evening with a spicy margarita-style cocktail, but it was overwhelmingly spicy — to the point where you couldn’t really taste anything else. Our server, who was wonderful throughout the evening, kindly switched it out for a Cadillac-style margarita, and that one was much better. One highlight was the chicken bao bun appetizer — my kids loved it, and it was probably the best dish we tried. Overall, while the atmosphere and service were pleasant, the food didn’t quite hit the mark for us. Based on the meal, I don’t think we’d return. Hopefully they can tighten up some of the dishes, because the menu has potential.

I would say I am a fan of Sbicca but I think the quality isn't what it used to be. Dinner with a friend in from town. The starters were good as we had the calamari. I ordered the short rib and it was luke warm and the portion was very small. It wasnt bad but it wasn't anything to rave about. My friend ordered the steak salad and said it was good but not great. I also noticed the size of the pour for the wine was small. I think it is becoming harder for restuarants to operate with the rising cost in California. I am not sure what Sbicca needs to do but hopefully they put the quality back into the food.

Lovely dinner, table placement left something to be desired but would dine there again and again regardless.

The food at Sbicca is always good and consistently good. The service was awesome. Very attentive staff even on a busy Father’s Day.

Disappointing experience at Sbicca.. My friend and I both ordered the chicken Parmesan, which I typically love and frankly, it’s what I always order when we go to Sbicca. However, it was the first time that I found myself very disappointed in the dish. The chicken was overdone and very dry and lacked much flavor. The fettuccine was nearly cold when it came to our table. I’m guessing that our dinners must’ve been plated And sat for a while before our server brought them out because both my friend and I experienced the same thing as to the temperature of the fettuccine. The rest of our party enjoyed their entrées, so I’m sure that we will return to Sbicca for yet another try sometime. I’m just not so sure that I will order that chicken Parm again.

Service was fantastic. The Host was attentive and knew just what to recommend. The food was only okay, not great, but the ambiance and service made it an above par restaurant with a special feel.

Sadly, this restaurant has been losing its charm over the last 2 years. Servers need more experience but are obviously well-intentioned.

The hamburger was really good. My grandson ate almost two morsels of chicken tenders. The fish and chips were really good also. The waiters took very good care of us.

Fabulious food and service but their prices were way over the top. The place is very small and we did not see any indoor seating. Parking is a nightmare. I don't feel the place will ever be a special for me. We were given a menue that stated was for 4-6pm (we were there at 5:15) order in within 10 minutes but we were charged the past 6pm prices.
