Very diverse and delicious dishes. Halibut and tiger shrimp were outstanding. Fried chicken delicious as always.

This is a favorite for me in Del Mar but today missed the mark a bit - which was a bummer since I brought out of town guests for a special occasion brunch. Despite reserving a table a month advance and requesting patio seating - we even arrived early - they insisted to seat us upstairs where the ambiance is average. I asked again for patio seating and they said they don’t seat parties of 6 downstairs on a busy weekend day and yet when we finished there was a party of 8 on the side patio. In addition they forgot to put eggs on the side of something we ordered, which was not the end of the world but it took away from the ambiance to have to scrape eggs off the top of the meal. Generally speaking, I highly recommend Sbicca for a delicious meal near the ocean in a great environment, but today was a little disappointing and made me wish I’d taken my friends to the plaza instead for the same price, better views.

I brought my friends from SF and we all loved it! We had a table outside with a fantastic view. Our meals were all delicious. I had chicken parmigiana and it was one of the best I've had.

Had a fabulous dinner at Sbicca. Loved the blackened salmon with dynamite topping. My wife really enjoyed her filet mignon tacos. The Brussels Sprouts were excellent. An open comment to anyone going to any restaurant, kindly remember that there are other people in the dining room, so using an inside voice would be greatly appreciated by those sitting around you (and even those sitting halfway across the dining room).

Not an ideal evening out with friends. Delayed drink delivery for one of us (long delay, as in forgotten), so-so food, fish dish cold. Overall marginal service and food. Too noisy in fireplace room that was pitched as cozy. Been a while since we’d visited and will be a long time (if ever) again
