   Was very nice, however, the time limit was disappointing as it felt very rushed. I have never been to an afternoon tea with an 1 hour and 45 minutes limit.

   Absolutely fantastic couldn't have done enough for us, it was a special birthday and the outstanding staff made it extra special with little touches, an experience like no other we will be back

   Outstanding food and fabulous surroundings. We had to wait for our tea to arrive and did get it after the sandwiches. We ordered the high tea but the waiter forgot to bring the warm dish so we ended up with the traditional afternoon tea. While we were waiting for the pastries, the waiter came by to address the table next to us, put the cream on our table to unburden his load and kept the pastry tray in his hand and wondered off with it to another table when finished talking to our neighbours. This made us wonder even more where our food was. Overall kind and helpful staff but we missed attention for detail. When we pointed out the order mistake, they offered to bring the dish but by then we were already finishing off.

   Amazing Afternoon High Tea in London. The food, service and the atmosphere were exceptional. This made our trip to London.

   We've been to the Savoy for afternoon tea as a once-a-year treat for many years. This was our first visit since the big redesign of the layout and decoration of the afternoon tea serving area now called The Gallery. The redesign appears to have greatly increased the number of place settings. Unfortunately this means the tables, especially for 2 people, are now much closer together. Don't go if you want a private conversation. The new carpet is curious as its pattern, where we were sitting at least, makes it look just like a worn out carpet which is very odd. The grand piano has been replaced by an upright piano, which takes from the grandeur of the place a little. The scones have shrunk in size and are now on the small side. But there is great news regarding the cakes. While they have always looked magnificent, they have in the past tasted a bit dull. However I think there must be a new pastry chef in the team as the cakes now look spectacular and have very distinctive flavours.
