Fantastic food. The service was perfection. Every member of staff interacted and all were just wonderful. A credit. Food intolerances brilliantly managed. Very special.

Ordered the snails ..delicious Husband had the Arnold Bennett soufflés..lovely Wasn’t keen on the beef Wellington very rich ! Husband ordered duck and very overpriced for a small piece of breast meat !! 40th anniversary wasn’t acknowledged by staff Very disappointed

Food and service for our 5 pm meal were outstanding- 5 stars. Ambience 4 stars, not 5 only because we were given a table adjacent to kitchen door. 3 stars for value as our portions, while delicious, were not that generous and our meal (starter and main course for each of us, and one shared dessert, with only sparkling water, no booze) came to a hefty £185 including mandated 15% tip. But maybe that is just normal pricing at a swish West End hotel. It was a lovely meal overall, and we welcomed the air conditioning and cool marbled loo on a very hot day in late June.

Overall the experience was good, but not great. Unlike other restaurants, the Savoy Grill does not offer a pre-theatre set menu at weekends. Even though we ate at 4.30pm and the restaurant was half empty we had to order from the more expensive a la carte menu. The MaitreD was dismissive to the point of readiness when I queried the pre-theatre menu. Food was good generally, but I will say the Beef Wellington was not a patch on those elsewhere (shame the Savoy chose to close Simpsons, where it was much better). The fillet was excellent quality but the rest not that nice. As usual for Gordon Ramsay everything was heavy on the salt. Good cocktail and wine list, with prices at the higher end as you expect. Service was friendly but with different embers of staff every time. No consistency of servers. Glad I went, but wouldn't revisit.

Really nice ambience and seating arrangement. Staff service and attention was excellent. The food was perfect and timing of delivery was great. Nothing to nit pick about. Just not a cheap experience. Expected but still ...

A bad restaurant: Waitress - Manuela- sprayed 5 times more perfume on herself than appropriate-every time she walked by it smelled—- shouldn’t the Maitre D catch that? 5 pm reservation and restaurant was 90% empty and they jam a 3 person table next to us? Ordered gazpacho appetizer- was soup with 4 tiny pieces of cut up cucumbers and tomato— that’s not what gazpacho is - it was awful. 3 of us ordered sea bass- it was not good.. heavy skin still on it… Never been to a Gordon Ramsay restaurant before- I’d never go back to the Savoy. It is a bad place.

Too pricey compared to what you get. The beef wellington was recommended by the butler, but nothing special at all. Very overrated not recommended.

A family lunch for Father’s Day and the staff were kind, attentive and accommodating, especially considering we had children with us that didn’t always sit still. The food and wine was good overall, with the Arnold Bennett soufflé being exceptional along with the tart tattan. The general savoy hotel staff are always exceptional and welcoming despite it being a busy day in the hotel.
