   Waitress seemed too busy or distracted. My husband and I did not receive ordered drinks until after we finished dinner and had to remind the waiter about the drinks.

   Had reservations, we were seated 15 min early which we were very grateful because we had an event to go to. The food was great, the staff was friendly and attentive. We were very pleased. Will return again.

   Went her for a date night and every thing was on point from the moment we walked in . The atmosphere was very nice , especially for a date night. The music was good . People were friendly and the food was to die for . Highly recommend . We will be back .

   I absolutely loved the restaurant. The food was so good and the ambiance was great for an intimate dinner date. Although me and my fiancé try not to do the same restaurant twice just to try new experiences we will definitely frequent the restaurant again.

   It was a nice experience we got there 30 minutes early too and they sat us right away. Our waitress was great and the door lady was very pleasant. I would recommend going.

    Food is always amazing. This was my first time returning since 2020 (Covid). The ambience & food are always a hit. On the pricey side but it's worth it. Wasn't a huge fan of the bartender this time, very slow & not as engaging with my friend and I's servive. Every time we had to call for her to assist us instead of her checking on us.

    Waited at lease 15 min before we even seen a hostess to seat us. They had no clean utensils so they gave us plastic forks and knives. After 20 minutes of being seated we finally got proper clean utensils. Was an average and weird experience for me and my husband. Not sure if we are going to come back management need to really do a better job.

    This was our first time eating here. The food was good, the ambiance was nice, but the service from our waitress was so bad that I'm not sure if we'd jump to return in the near future. She wasn't outwardly rude to us or anything like that, but we went a significantly long time without seeing her (~30-40 mins?) and had to request and re-request things like wine and water refills after having empty glasses during most of our experience. She finally refilled our water ONCE after being seated, and we didn't get it until we were basically done with our entree. It felt like she was almost intentionally ignoring us because we'd see her go to other tables, and seemed like she was avoiding eye contact with us whenever I'd try to get her attention. I'm assuming that maybe she was possibly new? But this isn't exactly a cheap restaurant, so I really would have expected better service... I will say that though it did seem that other waitstaff seemed much more attentive to their tables than ours, so I think we just unfortunately were seated in a bad area. I would recommend to a friend to try because of the food, but would caution them about the poor service.

    Our second visit to Savana Blue in the last year and we were even more impressed. We brought a guest with us this time and he chose the shrimp and grits dinner. I had the same and my son went for a return order of the fried chicken breast. Service was outstanding, friendly and professional. Other staff from the front door hosts to the bar were also very friendly. We left talking about who we will bring to Savana Blue next.

    We loved the greeters and the ambience. It was a bit dark and a few side dishes were pretty bland. But the mac&cheese, sweet potatoes, chicken and greens absolutely delicious. The waitress was wonderful. We would definitely return

    They were out of stock of ingredients to make several drinks on their specialty cocktail menu. After the 3rd "sorry we're out" my husband asked "what do you have??". This comment made the bartender upset, he proceeded ignore us until we got his attention again. We were seated, appetizer wait time was reasonable. Dinner took an hour. Poor server had no explanation, she was honestly just in a rough spot. I sympathize with them. Food was good, service was terrible!

    Mom and daughter date. We were seated right away. Staff was nice. Food was great! However waiter/waitress was not very knowledgeable of serving sizes so we had too much food for two people. Waitress spent more time flirting rather than answering questions regarding the menu.

    The restaurant wasn’t bad but it wasn’t a 10/10 it was more like a 6/10 the bide give date night the food was ok but wasn’t worth the price …. It’s just something you’d have to give a shot yourself.

    Food was excellent, service was pretty good as well, but kinda slow. But the place is kind of filthy. Smells weird when you walk in, several people made comments as well. Also the walls our 2 top was against was so filthy, looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in years. And every table that was against the wall had a filthy area of old food, stains. That alone will keep us from returning.

    I was expecting an upscale soul food experience, especially based on the list of clothing requirements stated on the website. Upon arrival there is a woman sitting at the entrance to check that you have a reservation before allowing you to go upstairs to the restaurant. It was 5 pm on a Sunday and we were one of three tables in the place for 2 hours. Service was slow. Getting drinks was slow, ordering was slow, getting a refill was slow; although our waitress was very nice and friendly when she did come to the table, but with only 3 tables being occupied it shouldn't have been so slow - she was also not the only server. The food was a mixed bag. The corn muffins were stale, the catfish plate with collard greens and sweet potatoes was really good. The cocktails were good. But the reason I'll never return was the state of the bathrooms. They obviously had not been tended to after Saturday night, this was now Sunday night. The first bathroom was flooded and several rolls of toilet paper were on the floor in the flood. There was one almost-empty roll of dry toilet paper in the second bathroom, but not on the roll. They were also out of paper towels. If I would have used the bathroom before ordering, I would have left immediately. I cannot think of any reason why the bathrooms in a so-called upscale restaurant would be in that shape and I do not even want to think what the kitchen looks like.

    The quality and flavor of the food were great per usual, but I'm guessing due to the staff being overwhelmed, we received portions of our food cold. As an example, the rice base for the oxtail dish was quite cold, as if it had been sitting out, while the oxtail on top had been freshly cooked and was quite hot. The waitstaff seemed overwhelmed throughout. Our waitress repeatedly chose to serve a table of complaining customers over us even though we had been seated first. Utensil service was not provided until halfway through our meal and it took forever to have our drinks replenished. Other than that, the ambience was great, per usual.
