Avoid this restaurant!’ The waitress offered me the special red wine and pointed out on the menu for 1 glass of wine was $25! When my husband got the bill they changed $40 !! He tried disputing the cost with the waiter while I was in the ladies room., She argued with him and walked away with his credit card. I had no idea until we returned to our hotel that this happened. I called the restaurant to get credit and all she did was argue with me!! The food was also very average! We had to ask for bread!! Really!! Now we know why we were the only people in the restaurant on a Saturday night!! Run away from this place there are so many other places to have a great dinner in London!!!

Dear Kathleen,Thank you for your review and for your visit. I would, however, like to offer some clarifications.You requested a 10% hotel discount, which applies only when the hotel contacts us directly, but we still applied it.We also offered olives and a complimentary 25ml of Tignanello (125ml served for £40 instead of 100ml). The price was clearly stated on the menu, and she showed it.At the end, you received two free Jefferson amaro shots and biscuits. You personally thanked the waitress several times for the attention and generosity you received — up until the moment the bill was settled. Later, you accused our staff of dishonesty. I assure you, we treated you with generosity and transparency, offering you a total of £36 in complimentary value. We do not take advantage of our guests

We have been nicely greeted and introduced to the ambient of the restaurant by lovely waiter Pedro. He cared for us during the whole of service and was truely lovely and welcoming, long time havent seen service as his. Wine recommendaton was lovely and we enjoyed the time spent in the restaurant. Ambient of the restauran is amazing and it does look lovely. Food was delicious and affordable for the City of London. I would truelly recommend the place especially stake, buratta and pasta. Once again thank you to the team and Pedro for amazing time.

Blink and you'll walk past this excellent small restaurant! I had the venison ragu, based on the recommendation of the waiter from the various choices I was interested in, and it was delicious. Really glad I went with his recommendation. They have a nice selection of wines by the glass, which went really well with the venison ragu. This was my first time to this gem of a restaurant and I will definitely return.

We had a lovely meal. The duck was especially good, and the chocolate souffle with vermouth too. The place was calm and quiet, and the service was quick and unobtrusive.
