Saray Restaurant stands close by Brockwell Park in Herne Hill, in a designed wooden Ottoman house. We aim to recreate Turkish food as it is found in Turkey, right here in the heart of London by combining the freshest of ingredients with recipes that have with stood the taste test of time. As each of our dishes is prepared with special care, our menu is simple; we prefer quality over quantity. All the menu could include baked aubergine with grilled mince meat, tomatoes, and green peppers, wrapped in a sheet of pasta and served with peppermint sauce, and spring chicken stewed with almonds, dried apricots and red grapes, seasoned with honey, cinnamon and lemon juice. This means higher than standard and tailored customer service, which we hope have achieved it so far. We promise our customers to keep it always this way.

This was my second visit to Saray and it was every bit as good. Excellent service backed up with tasty, affordable and filling food. Wonderful experience.

Good food, very veggie options. Lovely and patient service - let me and my date chat until past closing time. The place could be made a lot more cosy and romantic if they turned the lights down a little.

First time dining at Saray. The service was first class from the moment we arrived to the minute we left. We didn't have to wait long for starters or main. Everything was done in good time. The food was sumptuous. I like the fact that you can see your food actually being prepared. All the staff was really very nice to us, our table was well attended and we felt fully respected. The ambience was was warm and cozy, not noisy, just the way I like it. The real bonus? This was quality food, delivered in style for a very reasonable price. I can't recommend this place enough.

The food was lovely I must say. However the restaurant wasn't busy & service was slow, dinner took 45 minutes.

Another really good meal of proper Turkish food. The staff are efficient, accommodating and friendly. There's a reasonably priced wine list and we got a plate of baclava on the house. Definitely worth a visit and we'll be back.

This is one of our local restaurants. It's pretty good, good service, funny and nice staff and they treat you well when you're a regular. Food is good, but not quite as amazing as my old favourite that sadly had to shut down.

I've had the most enjoyable night at this restaurant with my friends. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great. We had the set menu which was recommended. I have to say all the mezzes and the meat was all really fresh and tender. we will definitely be back. Thanks for everything.
