The food was the best we had in Key West. We highly recommend it. Unfortunately they were closed on Monday and Tuesday or we would have eaten there everyday for our 4 day visit. We wanted to try other entrees because the food was so good.
We had an early evening reservation here on 8/23. They have both indoor and outdoor seating but with both high temperature and humidity we opted to eat inside. This a a comfortable space and even with a few other tables were occupied the noise level is fine. The choice of first courses vary and there was a Prix Fixe menu available, which was unexpected. Same times from the regular menu with a choice of first, main and dessert courses. My wife had a whole yellow tail snapper which is deboned, then flash fried and served "upright" on the plate. It is stuffed with served with arugula, fennel, cherry tomato salad, citrus soy vinaigrette, I had the coconut curry rice which is shrimp on a bed of coconut rice, red curry sauce, served with sautéed spinach, Both dishes were excellent. There were various fish choices on the menu and steak for the carnivores. Also an interesting selection of desserts.
Went for Sunday fried chicken night and our expectations were exceeded. Perfectly cooked chicken with the best gravy. Service was fast and friendly. Overall excellent experience
Sunday night chicken is soooooo good! The entire staff is incredibly friendly.
Food and service were excellent! We can't wait to come back!
I have been going to Sarabeths for over 10 years. They recently changed ownership and it is not the same. The old owner Milosh was the best. He was very friendly and always made you feel welcome. The new owners are not friendly and they don't honor the local discount like the previous owners did. The prices went up and the portions got smaller. I don't think I will be going back. What a shame.
Excellent service and excellent food!!
Thanks Sarabeth’s Key West for the terrific food and hospitality - as always!
First ever dining experience in Key West and it was amazing. Shrimp and grits was simply delicious and my husband greatly enjoyed the yellowtail snapper. The French rosé was exceptionally refreshing. Order the tuna appetizer, you won’t be disappointed.
This neighborhood restaurant never fails. Fried chicken dinner was outstanding. Sunday special worth waiting for.
Service always courteous & efficient.
We are in Key West once a year and always visit Sarahbeth’s at least once. Fried chicken Sunday is a favorite of my husband’s and I love breakfast at Sarabeth’s. A favorite place of ours in Key West!
We were so excited to try Sarabeth’s for a special occasion while we were visiting Key West. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess and seated inside per our preference. However our server John was one of the most indifferent waiters I have ever encountered-unfriendly, rude, and didn’t even introduce himself to us. He came over to our table after about 10 minutes and the said, “what would you like?” There were no pleasantries or even a greeting! I was so disappointed with the service—enough to not even order dessert there. Will not return to Sarabeth’s Key West. Too many other wonderful restaurants with friendly service where I can spend my money.
Great friendly service. Delicious food. Will definitely go back.
We went for our anniversary and highly recommend. The food was amazing and I will be back!!
We ate at Sarabeth’s twice during our recent trip to Key West - once for breakfast and once for dinner. The breakfast menu is amazing and literally has something for everyone. I had the salmon eggs and they were delicious. Service was quick and efficient for a busy breakfast service.
Dinner service was equally amazing. Great service and the food was amazing. Strawberry shortcake dessert was to die for. I will definitely be back on my next Key West trip.
Also, thanks to Sarabeth for contacting me when I left my keys on the table!
Great food, great service!! Was seated inside
Due to the heat.
Sarabeth’s never disappoints.
Good food & great service.
A local gem!
Wonderful food service and the pre fix option was a great value. Generous wine pour and portion size on the entrees. All four of us very happy with everything!
We had a lovely meal for four to celebrate birthdays, the staff were great and the food fantastic.
Sarabeth’s was excellent. The good, service, location and people were outstanding. The desserts are amazing.
Thoroughly enjoyed my dinner here. The swordfish special was very good, probably the best swordfish I've ever had. Wine list is not extensive, but interesting, and pairs well with the food items. The entire wine list is available by the glass, using a special dispenser system to preserve the wine quality. A big plus.
Atmosphere is intimate and a welcome relief from the noise and crowds of Duval street.
Service friendly and attentive.
I enjoyed it so much, I had breakfast there the next morning (lemon ricotta pancakes were very good).
Great meal - fresh seafood innovatively prepared. Nice ambiance. We sat outside and it was very enjoyable.
Service was excellent and food was outstanding! All 3 of us loved our meal. 2nd time we’ve had a wonderful experience & food. We’ll be back.
Lovely outdoor patio and delicious Grilled Mahi and seared scallops. Thank You
Admittedly our last visit to Sarabeth’s was a few years ago, but we have very fond memories of a lovely location with upscale but unpretentious dining. This time we therefore saved our visit for our last night In Key West. The staff were lovely but sadly the food was very average and what was once a beautiful front porch has now been closed in a bit and it all felt a bit dark and dingy, compounded by faulty lighting on the night, and had plastic tables etc. We left, having eaten an okay meal, but not having had quite the special evening we had hoped for, despite the efforts of the very pleasant hosts.
The mosquitos in the dining room are not acceptable! Ruined the dining experience with my mother who was visiting from out of town, I was embarrassed to have taken her there. Perhaps outdoor dining would be better, just don’t think that I will take that chance. David
Great fried chicken on Sundays! Service was good, a bit pricey for fried chicken.
Ya'll...we had the best meal and the best time here! The ambiance is so nice and we sat on a patio with foliage all around. It is small, quaint, and the food is fabulous. Don't miss the shrimp and grits. Additionally, we stayed late (because we were having such fun) and the wait staff could not have been more friendly! I would give it 6 stars if I could as everything was above and beyond!
Wonderful locals restaurant. Scallop Special was outstanding.
Will be back soon.
Awesome dining experience, great staff and food! We will be back for sure
Delightful restaurant off the beaten path with great food. Had both breakfast and dinner.
Delicious food, great service! It’s off the beaten path so a nice, quieter pace than other restaurants. Well worth a visit! They say breakfast is their thing, but we had dinner there...so I can only imagine what breakfast would be like!
Perfect dining experience . Ambience and romantic . Service is outstanding!!!
Everything was excellent from the moment we were greeted!!
Nice outside seating with good food
The service was great, starting from the welcome. The food was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the scallops paired with sweet potato mash and spinach. It was a satisfying experience from beginning to end.
Sunday buttermilk chicken at Sarabeth’s. Most delicious.
The Thai Beef Salad was unique and wonderfully
memorable. Going back a second time. And
tomato soup with the garlic Parmesan bread is
a dynamic combination. And of course the Strawberry Shortcake never disappoints.
The food was wonderful. My wife and I split their seafood cakes and a salad and followed it up with a piece of orange bread pudding. The wine list was a good one so we each had a good glass of wine. Our waiter was knowledgeable and fun!
