We pride ourselves on our fresh, authentic Italian food and are passionate about bringing this taste to London. Our ingredients are carefully sourced from the best suppliers and many of our dishes are made with speciality Denominazione di Origine Protetta (DOP) foods direct from Italy.

As well as sourcing the best Italian ingredients, we’ve also developed our own special pizza base recipe. Our UNICA pizza dough is made with a multigrain blend of flours that is vitamin-rich and packed with fibre while delivering the same delicious taste. Low in sugar and high in antioxidants, this is pizza that is good for you!

Our restaurants are a little corner of Italia in south east London. Cosy but elegant, with the warmth of family-friendly service delivered with the best wood-fired pizza you’ll find outside of Naples. We look forward to welcoming you soon.

Come in and enjoy unlimited ‘cicchetti’, (small snacks), with a glass of Prosecco, Aperol Spritz, or a classic Italian cocktail, each and every day. As they say; when in Hither Green…do as the Romans do! Available from 5 until 7 p.m. Monday-Thursday, and from midday until 6 p.m. from Friday-Sunday. £15 per person Walk-ins welcome.

    We were running 5mins late for our booked table. We were welcomed straight away and drinks order taken. Our table was wiped and set and we were good to go. Appetizers took a little time to arrive as the restaurant was full and buzzing! Main course arrived and I just wish that my arrabiata had been a smidge more punchy. Overall, a lovely meal out :)

    We always have such a lovely time at Sapore Vero. The food is always 10/10 and the staff are very friendly. The beef shin ravioli is so tasty!

    Haven’t been to Sapore Vero for a while and was really impressed with the food and service. Big thanks to Mimmo and the team and chef Francesco. Delicious pasta and vegan chocolate cake, will definitely not leave it so long before returning.
